No idea if that was the deal with mine; it was eighth grade; since then I've learned I have some sort of sensitivity to certain metals and can't wear Claires earrings unless they are hypoallergenic.

@rare quest I've been working with another user to debug a compatibility issue between IFR2 and another greenhouse mod and it led me to discover a bug in IFR2.

TL;DR the greenhouse object removal patch doesn't check if the greenhouse is enabled, so if it's enabled and the greenhouse is disabled (automatically or manually), it will mangle the greenhouse map. This can be fixed by copying all of the conditions from the initial greenhouse load and pasting them onto the object removal patch.

ive been having a problem where mayor lewis and marnie's audio keeps getting messed up/corrupted. when i try to talk to marnie, her sprite giggles and makes the coal sprite audio. when i try to talk to lewis, he jumps up scared and makes the bat noise audio. im not sure if mods are causing it or not, i tried launching the game with no mods and their audio was still messed up. ive verified the integrity of my game files on steam in order to fix it but the bug keeps reoccurring
has anyone else had a problem like this?

I also didn't check the detail and just assumed the SVE one required for it work. From the post it seems that some user use wayback w/o the SVE building one? As it's mostly texture there shouldn't be any mod issue if you test and ended up removing the mod. Good luck

Someone has reported that the doors in my lodging house (Juliet and Jessie) dont seem to work for them. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing it? There are no errors in the smapi log and nothing that immediately stands out as potentially problematic.

was that person using a controller? I have problems opening doors sometimes with a controller with areas added by mods. I haven't noticed problems with J&J but for ES I do have problems opening Jacob and Eloise's exterior door unless I specifically click on the left side of it

looks like pathos might be getting close. (also, given that stardew is a 32bit game, it's hard restricted to 3-4gbs of ram usage, and more ram can't be dedicated to it. which is part of the problem.)

as soon as the npc exclusions mod was released, flash immediately used it to exclude npcs like susan, morris, claire, martin, and a few others from the intro quest

ohh okay, so what you have to do is go into the portraiture folder, then go into portraits. once youre in there you want to create a new folder and call it like shie's portraits or something then go back and grab the zip of shie's portraits, put it into that new folder you just made and extract it in there then take the zip back out and put it wherever you keep your mod zip files or delete it

hey I tried using the skull cavern elevator mod and it made the game crash whenever I used an elevator in either the mines or skull caverns. Didnt see any particular errors, game just stopped responding. Any idea how to fix?

@charred trench specifically ChestDensity is a multiplier to how many tiles there are on the map to place chests on. So if you set it to 0.01. then 1% of all tiles will be overworld chests. You probably want it to be much smaller than that like 0.002 for 0.2% or less. There is always guaranteed to be 1 if you enable RoundNumberOfChestsUp so Chest Density is in addition to that

Hi, if anyone could help me figure out this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm playing modded SV with a friend, and they are the host, I am the farmhand. Every few days, at random intervals, the game refuses to save, and just stays on a black screen immediately after getting in bed. It fixes if I close my game, and the host is able to save, but this is annoying to keep constantly doing. Please help... I think my 3rd year 2-player savefile might be corrupted.
Whenever I install or update a mod which has new Json assets, I get the same crash report every time I try to go to sleep and save my game. The report seems to be identical regardless of the new / updated mod.

What "helps":
- Uninstalling the mod or reverting the updated mod to the older version. Do not want this, and somehow it STILL doesn't help at times.
- debug nosave. Definitely not an option.
- Loading my backup savefile from December and then loading the current savefile again. This messes up ALL the Json Assets, including the items in my inventory and containers, machines and the items they are processing. Their graphics, descriptions and properties are changed to those of some other modded objects. But the game works well again.
No, I can't update Json Assets to 1.7.5. When I do so, the modded items become invisible and unusable. I can only see the shadows of their icons, numbers and quality stars.
Also, this problem doesn't occur on a new savefile I've recently created for testing purposes. But I don't want to start all over again...
