The mod hide description is somewhat exaggerated because QF got blamed for certain bugs caused by other mods/frameworks ;_;

no, we don't do mod packs in this community since most mods don't allow redistribution like that. all the required mods are linked under requirements

yeah it's 10 max and most you would be using anyway as required frameworks for other mods

It's not that bad..many of us have 100+ it's only a pain when you get tons of releases from. Multiple mods at once.
you can upload your log with the update notifications to get a list of download links, pretty good method to download a lot of mods fast
"Mods requiring this file" ? that list is a list of mods you need to install SVE to make work, not the other way around. you don't need those ones.

i have been trying to get an obelisk replacement mod to work, but it won't work no matter what i do. i removed coding in every mod i could find that would overwrite anything about obelisks, and even replaced the xnb files, but it still won't work

So, I've reinstalled SVE and redone my entire mod file.
Everything seems to be running fine, except for two things.
I can't catch fish, only garbage, (Except for one instance where I fished at a ripple spot, but it vanished instantly after I got the single fish)
And all artifact spots drop either a book or nothing. (Usually nothing.)
This is just a clean install of SVE only?
Do you have Luck skill mod? I recall that having some issues with fishing and lots of trash

No, I have deep woods, both CBJ, and a Obelisk retexture mod.
CBJ has a luck mod ability, but I've tried fishing and digging with it turned both off and on to see if it was affecting things, and it doesn't seem to be.
It's unlikely that SVE is the one causing issues since so many are able to play with it, probably more important everything else
I'll start sytsematically checking all the other mods for conflicts.
I was hoping this was a known error with something, but no such luck I suppose.
I'll let you all know what it was when I find it.

I did have the trash thing happen to me a few weeks ago but I didn't have the luck skill installed. For me the game seemed to have certain days where it was all trash but then if I waited until the next day or the day after suddenly things were fixed again. I didn't ever figure out what caused it and it hasn't happened recently

NA isn't being maintained afaik, so that bug will likely not be fixed. all i can say is just don't bring NPCs with you to that area

I won't call any out by name, but I've tested a few mods recently with unoptimized code that slowed down load times

Most of the time spent are logs from JA/CP

when i attempt to load a save, it wont output anything else

Not all mods log their steps, but if there's a big gap between things either the one before or after are good candidates to look into

hmm, it decided to load now, i removed magic, but it took forever anyway
there is definitively something clogging up the load
As long as each trace is taking only a second or two that's normal, but if you suddenly see one entry followed by nothing for a minute, then you know there was a problem
The game is constantly logging something every few seconds
gotcha, will look for that if it loads again, i added magic back in to see if i can get the game to load
could it be spacecore maybe?

Hello, new to the modding part of SDV. I am trying to get Immersive Farm 2 remaster to work, did all the instalation and related mods. But whenever I enter the mod the map doesnt seem to change like it should. Any ideas?

Also, I did the resetting via steam things as instructed and the evil purple "fish" seemed to be gone. So I'd like to thank everyone for their help. 😄

TLDR, in your settings menu all the way at the bottom there's a camera icon, you can go directly to the folder to check it too

@gray field Both Android SMAPI ports are currently broken. ZaneYork is aware of the issue. There is no ETA for a fix. A large portion of the graphics code got abruptly changed which caused the port to break.

if you simply delete the png, the mod is gonna complain that the file is missing, so you have to edit out the line of code that tries to load that png

the mod's content.json file is still trying to edit that tile, so yes you'd have to delete the mod completely, unless there's a config option to turn off the edit, or you're willing to brave editing the content.json
i had to learn to use a whole new program and how load orders work in order to get some of my skyrim mods working. stardew modding in comparison is a cakewalk
i used to open up the content.json and add "enabled": false to problematic patches but i dunno if thats still even documented in the content patcher wiki

basically, if you have any TMXL files that are just festival positions for any custom NPCs, uninstall them
just the TMXL file, you can keep the CP files and therefore the NPCS
Funny I should stop by and see TMXL being discussed...
If you ahve any that are loading maps AND festival positions, you can void out the festival position section by using a /* before the words "Festival Positions" and at the end of that set of code. */

this especially occurs for stuff like jellies and wines; their name gets messed up but their prices etc remain the same
eg you might have a flower turn into a cucumber but all flowers you harvest afterwards will remain flowers

yeah it seems like any custom npc employing the same technique. i think that's why lemurkat uploaded a new version of jessie and juliet to prevent this error.
Ah ok. I haven't played in a couple days but my festivals have been ok with custom NPCs so far 
so if your character tries to go to a festival and it starts at 9am, but you go at 10am, chances are you'll get that error and the festival automatically ends.

RSV ported festivals over from TMXL to CP after 1.2.0
And Flash managed to figure out that it was messing with SVE's TMXL festival positions.

FeTK was also conflicting with Adventure Guild Mails and people started to go to MFM complaining, so now I have a alternative to indicate.
I also should release a new version soon with item delivery quest competition using the mailbox.

Are SMAPI and Nexus
with each other again? I have some mods I'm updating that keep saying they need updates, for the same version number
like "update to version 2.0.5" and I check the manifest, and it says 2.0.5
