And of course, hoping it'll work with more...ambitious projects like SVE.
Scheduling is time consuming, that's my biggest complaint about it. Having to follow NPCs around the entire day every time you make a change.

I would not suggest Jade in her current state admittedly
the forum post has a CP version made by paradigm! it should still be working but only for the first cat, and you can easily convert it to A&S yourself (A&S will take xnbs too)
I appreciate the update because when mods haven't been updated for a while, you can't tell if the modder decided to abandon it or if they're just busy doing other things and will come back later. Knowing you're working on it is helpful!

Just in case anyone here has both Toshinori and RSV - I have now put in a comment on Nexus informing them of the conflict of Toshinori and Philip (RSV) in the Saloon. I did tell Obamoose about it but he (rightfully, since it's a big mod) said they don't have time to worry about that right now. Since Toshinori seems to be actively updated right now, maybe this can be fixed for everyone from Toshinori's end!

LoC has great promise and it does work with PPJA! But I dropped it because it's still so buggy right now. I do hope to use it again when more bugs are ironed out.

For some reason my Community center is all jacked up. Just finished it like a week or two ago and just noticed. It still looks all decrepti on the outside and beautiful on the inside. Same with Joja. It looks beautiful but it's closed.
Not sure if it's a SVE bug or just something weird going on with my file. Anyone else ever seen something like that?

we were trying to get SMAPI to load without mods by renaming the folder, but vortex wasn't happy about that haha
I think it's better to keep the mod folder as is
and move all the mods inside of \mods\
into a folder called .skip within \mods\

It will work fine with recolors. I used Elle's Seasonal Buildings together with DaisyNiko's recolor and it looked great
Because in some cases both try to patch buildings right? How do you mesh that together?
I don't know about other recolors, but DaisyNiko's doesn't touch buildings at all. It's just outdoors and foliage
yeah i think there's only a few that recolor the buildings as well. elle's seasonal i believe is just farm buildings too, so even if a recolor touches the town, it wont bother elles

Hello! I had downloaded Stardew Valley mods for a while now, but I was wondering how I get back to the regular version of SV without mods? My friends recently got the game, but I am unsure how go back to vanilla.

can i use stardew valley expanded, and farm extended together? i could just try it out if you dont know, but, if you did it could save me the time. i know expanded edits the map, and farm extended doesnt work with "anything that changes the default farm map" though, expanded doesnt edit the farm, just the outside map like mine location etc

You should be able to. You just can't use Grandpa's Farm or IF2R (some optional SVE farm maps) because they also replace the standard farm map, like Farm Extended does.

i saw someone talking about getting ancient seeds from seed sorter, is that with better mixed seeds or just with seed sorter?
sounds like you can have that with just seed sorter after reading the description. but like better mixed seeds, it sounds like it randomizes which seed comes out. seed sorter is vanilla seeds only though

I haven't tried that one but I use Better Mixed Seeds. I like BMS because it works with PPJA and other JA crop mods. The only downside of it is you don't know what seed you will get until you plant it. Seed Sorter seems like it probably tells you what the seed is when it spits it out. That would matter if you want organized crops and don't want to have things mixed up in your fields

Get Glam hasn't been updated recently and neither has SMAPI's Android port; they might work depending on your version of Stardew, but you might have to roll the game back to keep SMAPI working? I'm not sure what the current details are.

I think this issue specifically is mentioned in the NPC Map Locations mod description, and there's a solution listed

I don't see the issue I'm having. To be exact, villager's from SVE and Ridgeside appear in the upperright hand corner. If it helps, I've been to ridgeside but it still shows up as ??? on the map.
Are you using UI Info Suite?
Yeah
Disable the NPC locations for UI Info Suite. That causes the problem. It's under the settings (hammer button on the right)
At least it causes the NPCs in the corner problem anyways.

yeah you need NPC Map Locations. UI Info Suite's map isn't playing correctly with custom NPCs right now. Go to NPC Map Locations and download the SVE version. Then go to the RSV page and download the NPC map locations add-on

Also side comment: you might need to change your nickname to something typeable on the english keyboard according to rule 4
The RSV add-on readme is a bit confusing but what you'll want to do basically is take the "Rafseazz.RSVCP, flashShifter.stardewValleyExpandedCP" folder and put it into the folder for NPC Map Locations called "maps". Then you want to go into the folder called "config" and replace the globals.json there with the globals.json in the RSV add-on folder
That should be all you need to do

BASICALLY... I redownloaded NPC locator WITHOUT Doing the ridgeside and... it was suddenly working fine and as you would expect.
As long as things are working for you, that's all that matters. Great!

If you use Seasonal Garden Farmhouse V2, Rustic Country Town Interiors, and Rustic Country Walls and Floors, they will change everything and all match nicely

Both Android SMAPI ports are currently broken. ZaneYork is aware of the issue. There is no ETA for a fix. A large portion of the graphics code got abruptly changed which caused the port to break.
ZaneYork does accept pull requests if you are able to submit a fix. You can also check the repo for updates for when a new version is released. https://github.com/ZaneYork/SMAPI-Android-Installer

So when things try to save : THIS happens..

Two issues I notice with that log. 1, you have a bunch of mods out of date. 2. running out of memory
Those mods haven't been updated yet.. ( I have 16GB) wow..
doesn't matter how much memory you have as long as it's not too little. SDV can only use between 3-4GB max because it's a 32-bit game
You can try running SDV without Firefox or Discord up to see if it helps, but most likely, because you have 16GB, you just have too many mods
I see you have some custom music related things. If you're willing to uninstall mods that would be the first thing I would tackle because that's a place that can cause lots of RAM usage sometimes

It doesn't need to crash, it just needs to not load and SDV will continue without it.
Yes, the game will work even if the mod fails. Your log may show why its failing however.

It means that you have too many mods total; Ridgeside itself is fine, but load up on enough complex recolours and additional music and the like and all the large mods and the game will eventually run out of memory

plus it's easy to accumulate like a thousand of them, and sometimes you forget to remove CP replacements of stuff A&S is replacing so that's something that loads (and uses memory) but will never show up

so they're adding recipes that were put into vanilla in 1.5

also, you have an old PyTK and a few other mods that need updates
how ur farmer look so blended in with the environment
the problem with Haywrites is that they used Load and aren't updated for 1.5, so anything added to vanilla after their last update is removed from games that have them installed

Ok, I am using Teh's Fishing Overhaul's unoffical update, mostly for the recatchable legendary fish and telling me what fish is catchable and that jazz, but it's not workin with Ridgeside so... what options do I got in replacing or getting TFO to read Ridgeside's new fish

turn off the "X% easier" bits of Fishing Made Easy, turn on the Legendary Fish Are Recatchable - it has generic mod config menu support, or you can edit the config file directly
A PathosChild mod that lets you look things up like "where and when can I catch this fish"

@long halo Probably not, but try changing "Gamepad Mode" in the game options to "Force On" (if you use a gamepad) or "Force Off" (if you use a mouse) to fix that.

Hi again! I've heard that a possible cause for this is updating Quest Framework (QF) while you have a quest from QF active. So potentially a way to work around it is to complete / cancel any quests from QF before updating QF

Its a lot less saturated, and foliage redone has more masks and such to go further.
No need to do backflips over a further reshading, in opinion.
Otherwise, if you've got a more up to date mac and the space for it, you can do BootCamp but it doesn't run Windows 100% without a license.

well i have starblue for the recolor and it does have its own UI

Can't be that one. It's quite a lot different. That is a good one though.
You can disable the interface in Starblue Valley's config file. That will make the mods compatible.
The config file is generated when you first launch the game after installing any configurable mod.

That specific error means Stardew tried to access some info during the "get fish" process while the player was at IslandSouthEastCave, but the info didn't exist. Probably an issue caused by a mod handling fish data incorrectly, but it'd be difficult for anyone to say without the full log. You can upload it here and post the link: https://smapi.io/log

Not positive but the first step you should try is updating SMAPI, looks like you are out of date by a couple versions
SVE seems to be correctly installed
at least, the map looks broken
the error messages might be from a mod that needs manual merging
