Hi, after completing the boiler room community bundle (unlocking minecarts), i went to sleep and after cutscene of junimos, game crashes.

ive updated all my mods. no idea why its still crashing.
sidenote, whenever i enter deep woods, i cant get out. I can only do so by using the farm warps.

In my head canon, and if I ever get my A into G an actually write it (with Arkiel's permission ofc), I want Clint to finally get the courage to ask Emily out. She informs him that she likes him, but only as a friend. At first he's distraught, but quickly realises that he's not broken hearted in the way that he thought he woudl be.... because he's actually developing feelings for Lucikiel. Lucikiel, meanwhile, thinks Clint is finally hooking up with Emily and realizes that this in fact makes him feel a bit of unexpected jealousy and pain.

fair enough. spoiler if interested: ||lucikiel realises he'll outlive the human he's fallen for, and in general can't handle feeling positive things yet. so he goes to yoba to get his heart and feelings sealed and to leave the valley. the farmer tracks him down into the forest, and tries to convince lucikiel to stay. lucikiel tries very very hard to get the farmer to leave, and basically breaks up with the farmer several times throughout the scene. i reckon clint wouldn't be able to withstand so many effective break ups >.>||

I just watched it (via debug ebi)! It felt a little weird because my farmer (Freya) had never met Lucikiel before but the scene is beautiful! Very nicely done.

well, the fence bit I see is in the version with ifr, hadnt played with ifr in a while, the woods entrance looks a bit different with grampas farm

yeah, the ifr version also does not have that extra warp I had indicated, but there should be a warp on the right tile under that fence though

theres a patch in the old files of deepwoods to add compatibility to ifr, but this is for the old ifr, its not needed now and trying to install it very well could break your woods map

I used CJB Item Spawner to spawn Tea Sapling. When I plant them, UI Info Suite said I planted Copper Ore???
It doesn't happen if I craft Tea Sapling myself though.

I think I don't have any ore mods. And it's not a seed, it's a normal Tea Sapling. Just Colored Seeds mod change its skin to appear like that.

if you dont have something like fantasycrops you definately have some corruption going around

well, then you have an outdated mod that's rewriting part of the crops xnb, or an actual xnb mod that broke something

I am somewhat curious what you are actually planting there, finally got my game to finish loading and tea saplings..look like little trees (with Colored seeds)
also oddly.. planting them here does not give me any tooltip at all like regular crops does
I just get the hand to shake trees, heh

that's.. a bizzare bug
if you plant the tree sapling in a place that's clear in the 8 squares around it, you get the expected tree sapling with no tooltip, planting it 'next' to any crop, gives you that weird copper ore thing

actually, it appears to be specific to having actual regular crops nearby
but yeah, its not something specific broken to your game, but a bug of some kind
heh and lookup anything calls the weird nontree a 'weeds tree'
I get the feeling its a bug in BetterFruitTrees not knowing how to handle the new sapling
which BFT is an unoffical limpalong update, so that's not super suprising

so..if you really want to plant those, you can probably remove BFT and it will probably work more vanilla like
it looks like they bug out if you try planting them anywhere a vanilla'ish tree would fail to plant being too close to other things, with the exception of themselves

The unpacked folders are inside your Mods folder, so SMAPI thinks they are mods and tries to load them, but can't

Nope. That is a raw file and would need a manifest.json and content.json for SMAPI to load it as a CP mod

Well the mod hasn't had activity since Pathos updated it on Jan 2019, so that might be a factor. I guess you could open an issue and include your log per the link in the governor message

Can also do the UI Info Suite which you don't need billboard or calendar anywhere

you could try checking the files within nexus, to determine if the mod author forgot to package it, or if it's disappearing in a weird corruption

Steam updated me to 1.5 already, I have 1.4.5 in a separate safe folder. I just haven't bothered because a lot of those mods were updated more than once so I'd need to keep updating lol

also custom furniture isn't updated so any furniture mods you have won't load, but that shouldn't be breaking your game
you'll have a few lingering issues in your log, but your game should load after that

But....I think I found the culprits. I am running animated....everything. took out the animated seasonal portrait and by day three I was still around 2.8 where I was at 3 beforehand
So, might need to deanimate my fish. Not the biggest loss if it means I can keep adding other stuff

i tested ssd vs. hd with stardew valley, it made only a small difference (~1min vs. 1min18s iirc)
From what I've noticed in the smapi console, the biggest load killers are music files, frameworks sorting themselves out (looking at you spacecore and pytk) and smapi sifting through a ton of JA mods
i suppose there isn't that much to load (or the ssd was just crappy)

@dire fractal Both Android SMAPI ports are currently broken. ZaneYork is aware of the issue. There is no ETA for a fix. A large portion of the graphics code got abruptly changed which caused the port to break.
ZaneYork does accept pull requests if you are able to submit a fix. You can also check the repo for updates for when a new version is released. https://github.com/ZaneYork/SMAPI-Android-Installer

you can use 1.4-compatible mods and a 1.4 version of smapi/SDV on android but it's quite a lot of work

Okay so! Personally, I'd recommend SVE, Garden Village Expansion, Walk to Dessert Expansion, Trent's Boarding House (and a few NPCs to go with), Escape to East Scarpe, for new locational content. All compatible.
You definitely want the entire PPJA suite (megapack if you're lazy to go grab them all), Artisan Valley, Starbew Valley, Chocolatier, Farmer to Florist, and Fizzy drinks. For new crop/recipe content. Big recommendation (additionally, bonster's crops and trees)
And lastly for QoL like tractor, you want Mega Storage, Automatic Gates, Automate (maybe), and tractor for sure
you'll probably want one of the many recolor mods, and https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1993 is what I use for my farm buildings. it has a ton of options
basically, i'm running most, if not all, expansions and npcs that state compatibility with sve, and ppja

oh, for efficiency, i can highly recommend the mobile phone mod. when you get someone to 4 hearts, you can call them and get the friendship points for talking to them. it's great for the out-of-the-way/hard to track down npcs.

i had just downloaded 2 mods, wayback pelican town (alpha), and the daisy niko's recolor
I'm not sure but i think theyre contradicting eachother?
mermaid island adds a small amount of content, but the summer market gives you another go at submarine/night market fish. (as well as more flower decorations, and fish based recipes. pair mermaid island with more new fish mod, and a koi tank mod by the same team.) stardew aquarium will give you a place to put all your fish, modded and vanilla, as a fish version of the museum.
also, if you want crops/recipes. ssaturn's tropical farm and oriental kitchen (they come with gift tastes for sve characters).
i personally like the cider press mod, which i don't think is part of ppja specifically, but has compatibility with it. i also like starbound crops and platonic's pumpkin days hybrid crops for fun.
mineral mage and secret gourmet provide different, and not usually thought of, avenues for progress, and they're both reasonably well balanced for profit/ease.
ore increase can help with efficiency without feeling too cheaty.
and if you want witchy mods, there's witchy valley and valley herbalist.

Hi is there any mod that provides tracker profession in limited scale (showing the forage location but only when it is near the farmer)?
I like picking up stuff from ground but not fond of walking behind the trees and paying extra attention to the map. It'll be nice if it can scale with the foraging skill level
