the lucikiel event is meant to trigger after you've talked to him once. he has a special schedule to accommodate that, but only on spring 1. otherwise he acts like all npcs do after week 1 where they act as if they've already been introduced to you even if they haven't @gleaming kestrel

btw, @gleaming kestrel, i always trigger that event spring 1, then because of sve, i trigger morris's 2 heart event on spring 2 (his birthday), where he tries a friendly greeting to pierre, gets rejected, and is confused. the literal day after he tries to summon a demon to destroy pierre's shop XD i love the weirdness of two different mods with different characterisation

- Release the button, and then exit immediately without pressing any other buttons (just so it's easier to find which button codes the mod is receiving).
- Post your new log here.
SVE and IF2R are both trying to load twice. SMAPI should say that, but have you checked to see if you have two of each folder?

I'm trying to get the Stardew Valley Expanded mod with the farm remaster 2 running so that myself and my GF can play multiplayer with it but whenever we load in her farm is just the default look. We've tried verifying that all the files are there and we've had no luck.
The latter doesn't have nor mention SVE anywhere so would it even work with the other mod?

@cosmic imp So the game is receiving the End button code, not the Numpad1 code. Try pressing the NUMLK button (usually the top-left corner of the numpad) to enable numeric mode, then see if it works.
the base mod has a ppjasve bundles, but it doesnt add but a few sve things, the advanced version did not make a ppjasve version for that reason

My laptop is weird. It has a light for the CapsLock1 key but not for the NumLock key.
basically, the original mod has a config that takes 'Vanilla, PPJA, PPJA_SVE", advanced overrites 'Vanilla' with either a harder vanilla, or PPJA pack.. depending on which you install

I wish there was a mod that allowed me to configure every keybind detected by the base game and those added from mods. I need to up my "Notepad++ work area" but so far I have 29 mods that add keybinds I have to go through and properly assign so I don't have overlapping keybinds.

So, I know I asked earlier, is there no way to fix the bug with multiplayer? Where you go to craft on ppja machines (drying rack is the specific one) and people seeing different items crafting?
Using GMCM in game and I'm currently not able to precisely adjust a slider bar to the exact value I want. I edit the respective config.json in Notepad++ instead. Am I able to reload a config.json in game now since it's not showing the changes I manually made in Notepad++?
Or is there a mod that allows me to click on a number field and type in a new value?

unless you're using stardew reimagined, you dont want that
the mobile phone is hilarious for characters like jio and kiwi (ridgeside village). the phone has everyone say "hello (name)" as default, then you click chat and they'll say their normal dialogue as if you were right there. jio and kiwi routinely ignore you. so i have them ignoring me on the phone after they both said hello to me XD

So doing a quick google search I was able to learn that clams, mussels, and oysters can in fact create pearls. I was not, however, able to figure out if cockles are able to create pearls as well. Does anyone in here know if they can or cannot?

murderdrone (as it's known in mod folder) or personal combat drone (on nexus) is a hovering drone that shoots lasers and one hit kills just about everything. drone is fairy is just a reskin so now you have fairy shooting magic XD
okay now that was annoying...the manifest.json uses the mod name "More Fish" but the actual folder from the mod's zip file uses [CP] New Fish instead ๐

there's no way on the player end, unfortunately. that kinda thing is happening with a few mods >.> sounds like it's difficult to fix on the modder end, too, due to how the game/multiplayer is coded

the crafting one makes midlevel stuff like tappers and jars etc cost hardwood and resin, to make you actually care about tapping and upgrading your axe

yeah portrait/sprite stuff, especially for vanilla chars can be a little fiddly, using patch summary can help you figure out what's changing it

most of these are due to the different map mods not fully compatible with each other
i know that sve and east scarpe specifically have compatibility patches for each other. it might be museum expansion not playing nice with the bin. as for the trees, do you have another map effecting the town?

sve effects the town, es has that one path in front of the museum that effects the town, museum expansion effects the museum. idk about aquarium, but i think that only adds a train destination? so aquarium and the others you listed don't effect the town.

@wary plaza try downloading East Scarpe again as it now has a dependency on SVE. (SvE used to load the map so it always went first but now it edits it in so sometimes East Scarpe may edit first and then it chooses the wrong map patch, in this case the default one).

I've configured TimeSpeed to make "10 minutes feel like 30 seconds" which gives me 1-hour IRL for a 6am - 2am in-game day.
Changes the digital clock on the HUD to update every in-game minute instead of every 10.
Control the flow of time in the game: speed it up, slow it down, or freeze it altogether. This can happen automatically or when you press a key in the game.
Maybe I'll block it in a later update.

But for the rarecrows I have one of the mods that turns them into beautiful owls. The owls don't really go with the bouncy junimos >_>

Can do it on a weekly or monthly basis, just know that if you're having issues, the first thing people will ask is if you updated your mods lol
That may be more of a #making-mods-general question since you're looking to tweak it. Just make it clear when you ask there that you're only tweaking it for personal use

that's a ridgeside village fish. they made one per bachelor/bachelorette to be somewhat legendary. (legendary fish is a hardcoded status, so fish modders try their best)

Because I haven't been able to catch a Vampire Squid for days. I reported to Trent, he made an update. Now I still can't catch a Vampire Squid but I managed to catch this Jellyfish, even though I couldn't before. In the past, SVE also caused probs to the More New Fish Mod

I'm using elles seasonal buildings, does anyone know if you dont want to use a certain texture (for me the obelisks) can you just delete them from the config file? or will this cause issues

trees not growing in winter is a realism vs gameplay thing
but if you're trying to set up a tapper farm you can fix the seed thing by putting down paths around trees

I just like it because it stops little baby trees from hiding under the shadow of big trees, which slows me down when I'm running around in my farm lol

but I'd be worried about random plots of trees sort of auto-arranging themselves into a grid over time
I also use Tree Spread (which prevents trees from dropping seeds on the farm) for this same reason ๐

The most work came from figuring out the trees
Yup - I downloaded Flower Valley, Earthly Recolour and Foliage Redone.
What I did was basically just go through the assets to pick out what I like from each, check and see which I can enable / disable from each and then copy/paste the tree .pngs that I like into Flower Valley

I forced that and Flower Valley to play together so I could have trees and bushes from both

In my case I just erased trees and bushes I didn't want from the png's
But Foliage Only lets you replace the "static" trees and bushes, so I kept those, and Flower Valley replaces the regular trees and bushes
