My partner is getting an odd error that doesn't allow her to join in the game, and these are the only new mods we added, but we can't place a finger on what is causing it
I see two lines referring to two separate boots items
Boots? and T key?
yeah I see that too, we're not sure what it may refer to which is confusing. We have a few get glam clothes we added that have boots maybe (?)
But we never had that issue before hm

LFL wouldn't be on the compat page since it's a CP mod, i would try the latest version and see if there are any issues

GG wouldn't add actual boots, it just adds like, "skins" for the boots you're wearing
these are the only mods we added today, which followed with current crash. Yesterday we played just fine (we add a few mods at a time)
it's definitely a JA mod because your error happens right after JA edits Data\boots in the log
so it has to be with that?
but the only JA clothes are the ones above and they're all gg friendly basically

3.8.2 mainly blocks farm map replacements that would crash the game in Stardew Valley 1.5, fixes various issues, and updates the compatibility list.

So I've noticed an issue (maybe?) with Lookup ANything? So it can show you the range of items like Scarecrows and Junimo huts. I've noticed when I hover/use them the squares seem.. off and I'm unsure if the range is correct from where i placed it or the area without green squares.
i bet the boots were those black dress shoes--you can try demolishing her cabin and building a new one if she doesn't mind losing some stuff

Hey can someone help me out i Play Stardew Valley with my Wife split screen Co-op with some Mods but sometimes after we go to bed and seconds bevor it will save it is loading infinitly so we have do force close the game and loos a day this happens maybe all 30 minutes...

my friend an i are playing multiplayer with mods. when i planted a sweet canary melon, my friend picked it and recived a melon, i regrew it and got tobaco seeds
when i gave my friend the seeds they got venison and when they gave me the melon i got strawberry preservers

@narrow fiber UI Info Suite isn't really updated for Stardew Valley 1.5 yet, it just has a fix so it still runs. You could try Data Layers for the range display until UI Info Suite is updated, it's fully up-to-date (including the new features like sprinkler pressure nozzles): https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1691.
So I am using mods, but I'm not sure if its a mod bug or a Stardew bug specifically. I hit winter and suddenly my paths that I paid for are gone

I actually dug through the UI Comments and figured it out, it (The unofficial Patch) doesn't play well with the UI Zoom so because I had it at 115% zoomed in it shifted everything 4 tiles or so off. But thank you for mentioning this new mod!

I think the only fix involves save editing and idk how to do it 
The preventive measure is to install all the JA mods you want before you start, and then if you don't want to risk it later, don't install any additional JA mods.
The JA item ID shuffle doesn't happen every time though.
The "corrective" measure would be to trash the offending items and spawn in new ones

the JA mods that conflicted with vanilla items have already been updated, you just need to completely delete old files when updating

Ye CP mods will depend, especially if there isn't an update. Not all CP mods will need a 1.5 update, but recolors probably will

i see a couple of issues there, not sure which one is causing your inventory crash. like jack said try reinstalling boarding house, you also need to completely delete and reinstall all PPJA mods

I've been looking for mods to alter the passage of time in multiplayer, and I've found a few
But all of them revolve around pausing the game is either one or all players should be in a paused state.
Does anyone know of a mod that slows passage of time if a partial number of players should be in a single player paused state? E.g. 50% slower time if one of two players is in their inventory, but not full stop?
from the description it looks like LoC would supersede the cooking skill, but I'm worried about it conflicting with some of my other mods so I haven't tried it out
btw winter crops, platonic recipes and a few other mods are kinda crashed idk but even if im sure i have the newest version smapi still says i need to update them
I observed bblueberry's progress on the mod in #making-mods-general but as far as gaining would be, all the functionality LoC adds that space's mod doesn't have. bblueberry is hoping to actually make use of space's cooking mod in future but hasn't yet

Thanks, but neither of those does what I want. Time Multiplier (or Timespeed) are a static change of how much fast ingame time passes. Multiplayer Time just knows pause and no pause, but can't alter how fast time passes.

OH!!! I get that issue as well! It happened to me with the recipes in the Adventurer's Guild shop. Not sure where else though.
Idk about Longevity these days, but there are alternatives, .quote 4960 has a list of them 
that's a super common issue right now, it's probably a bug with one of the major frameworks

mods are loaded upon game launch. cosmetic mods like reskins and more lines will not really affect it, but others will if you don't clear out your mod folder.
some mods only work if the host player is running them (also), but that depends on the mod in question.
Yeah I've noticed that as well. My SMAPI log is reporting it as a v1.4.0 mod too even though we're only up to v1.3.7
or you could launch vanilla minecraft instead of smapi and then the entire thing is moot.

farming valley minecraft modpack
A quick search actually brought up 10ร "Minecraft" mods for SDV
so if i launch just stardew, the mods wont load right
I did try checking the mod's github but even that seemed more out of date than the links from nexus and moddrop (or was it chucklefish? don't remember at the moment) 
@paper zenith you have to put the command line into the launch options for stardew to run with mods upon launch through steam. if it isnt there, you have to manually run smapi or run it through vortex
So the "Lumisteria Flower And Plant Set" mod requires the "Custom Furniture" mod which is unfortunately not up to date yet. Would I be able to get away with just using the [CP] folder at least? Or that wouldn't even add anything to the game anyway?
Does Minervas bundle work with V1.5?
sadly, without CF the CP mod will do nothing
i mean, it will load the tilesheet and not crash but it will create no change to the game itself because those images are supposed to be used by CF to make item

yeah, CF was a hard mod to maintain even in the past and i don't know how hard making an update would be, i don't know what are the plan of the author

it is literally...the same output name as in the base Artisan Valley file.
the main problem with xBRZ is that while it retains contrast details well, it tends to lose color details
thus things look like watercolor
Ye I was referring someone to SpriteMaster for the purposes of changing the look of the game, because it's not necessarily HD but instead has smooth edges. I don't use Portraiture but I think part of it is that it makes thing HD.
you'd need to use a different scaling algorithm to get an 'HD' look
all of the standard ones have the same drawbacks
I wonder if I take out the JA stuff if Spritemaster will lag my game less

@brisk timber apparently removing intereaction tweaks didn't help - I'll try self-service, though it works fine for Willy
once the sprites are processed, it shouldn't really impact speed at all unless you're running on a potato. A Russet potato.
Yukon Gold potatos run it fine.

the time skipper mod is broken for me

Well that was unusual... I wasn't able to leave the Pong game and play SDV normally like I thought:
This mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2044?tab=description, was supposed to create an arcade machine I can buy from Gus. The caveat though is that this mod requires https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1994 to be installed as well.

Is this a catch-22 caused by something being out of date?
The arcade machine hasn't been updated in a year, so it's entirely possible something doesnt work

Hello all! Completely new modder here with a game that's crashing when I try and place items. I have about 150 mods (I think I went overboard hehe) and I'm no exactly sure how to find what crashed it or how to fix it?

it's probably a repeating error, so you can do one of two things
That can happen if your log is literally too big in size. What is your logโs file size?
you can open it up in a text editor and copy everything from the top to the first few times the error(s) repeat
or you can close the game, start it again, place something to throw the error, and then close smapi quickly so your log doesn't fill up

i personally experienced a very amusing bug where my character glided around like a ghost in the fishing game tent at the stardew valley fair, then froze so fully that i couldnt even escape when the time ran out

Animal husbandry. Theres an issue either with that mod or one of the frameworks it uses right now where having the tools when you save makes it crash
If you trash them you'll get replacements in the morning

Custom Walls and Floors and Custom Furniture have a lot of annoying bugs, but both mods are so integral for decorating and my enjoyment that I deal with them LOL

the 1.12.4 is a warning you can ignore for now. IF2R had to be updated immediately to work with smapi 3.8.2 but flash has to do an additional update to address some of those warnings

I don't really know how to use the files on github though - do I need to compile them to get the dll or something?

The only way I know to do that is to play on mobile cause it saves your state.

champagne wishes, farmer to florist, artesian valley, advanced farming mod is nice if it gets updated, pfm jewelcraft works so far and helps use up minerals and gems, and my newest addition is PFM Ikebana Mod
also picked up some of the um.. like fizzy drinks and such.. just to have more reason to not sell everything, or just turn everything into jam lol

Its a shame that longevity mod is being discontinued. The taxes and bills parts of that would help suck up some cash
I haven't found a gold sink mod.. but with those I've mentioned, it takes longer to get gold because.. well, production times, and you're not sellling intermediate stuff because you need it to create the others

honestly... a furnishing mod that has super expensive things would be a start, for people who love to furnish. Also maby like.. mega crop guarantees.. for like 1k a seed perhaps... there's a lot of ideas for that
Hardew makes some good steps, but it looks like CP cant access the house or tool upgrade data, so that might be a good place to start. After initial farm buildings those are the main two goals for me
for people like Jack.. tools, seeds, taxes, even the sharecropping idea would help
But I'm talking more about extending the early/midgame rather than endgame sinks
Ah. For me the early game is a little tedious, especially before the first backpack and can upgrades
let's say taxes are rated by the amount you make, you could have a config file so that the person could change it as they go along, to make it harder/easier
end game though.. I'd say sink it into rewards and the like

Yep. The bills were a good check on expansion too. Water bill based on sprinklers and some things, power bill based on light sources and farm buildings
You could even go into debt, although the gold counter can't handle negatives
But I think there was some sort of report for that
An idea for a late game mod - a robot assistant that you could dump money into to upgrade, who could do things like find forage, harvest your crops, prepare gifts for townsfolk, create gems or ore, etc?
that would be cute
or something like murderdrone.. but you have to buy it for a lot of gold, and you have to upgrade it

I used Tiled to change a couple of things (+ added 2 new tilesheets, which has never been a problem for me before) on the IF2R farm map so that I could utilize the space better - and now I'm at my wits end. I've tried everything I can think of, updated all mods, checked the content.jsons to find where the heck I've screwed up. I managed to keep an older version of base game and smapi,and mostly have everything figured out,my question is shouldn't an older version of json,spacecore,and content patcher still work for me untill Android catches up?

@median silo redownload the farm from sdve.. they just had to reupload it to fix that issue
If they existed and worked for 1.4 on android then I dont see why not, but I'm not sure if they did

most of those are warnings and are okay, but that one is a real error
for Ace Buildings Expanded Tile, Expanded Cellars, IF2R and SVE
Your farm map replacer is messed up and will cause a crash if it was loaded.

vanilla tilesheets on the farm map must be referenced in a specific order and with specific names or the game will crash when you go left
the thing is, I only updated smapi
@brisk timber smapi keeps flagging it as incompatible/outdated randomly
yeah, the smapi update today added a new check to block incompatible maps so people don't get several weeks into a new game only to find out their map is broken
it also caught some maps with really tiny errors, but that's why IF2R got a fix earlier
then it is blocking if2r and sve completely

spinning up my game, I'll check on both of those errors
the new check specifically Warns for non-farm maps with errors (because those don't consistently crash) but does totally block farm maps with tilesheet errors because those consistently crash
I wonder why I haven't seen that DNT issue yet

and there is a spot that is crashing

but there's so much of it ๐
even though there are yellows and it should be okay
they are not
because for example, the SVE version for town is not being rendered, rolling back to the original tilesheet
