Anyone have any idea why Elle's Cat Replacements aren't working? It's not editing the in game texture on my cat at all. Trying to do the long-haired blonde and my cat is still gray. Wondering if it might be another one of those things where two mods are editing the same file.

@late nebula looks like elles cat replacements is the only mod changing the cat. It might be something you put in the config file.
the vanilla game has several cats, do you know if the replacement replaces the one you have?

i did not use warp, but i do have warp totems in one chest and the carts unlocked, and save anywhere....

I have a quick question. Me and my friend (total approximately 7 people including me) are getting a copy of SDV and would like to play together. I, myself, got the game before the others to test out mods and other things for the sake of being able to play. I've been experiencing with Always On Server mod and a few others like Multiplayer Time and MultiplayerIDLE. What would be a recommended mod for the host computer? (I am using my laptop as a host computer that will be running 24/7 while me and my friend use an IP or joincode to join in).

for example, SVE will work in multiplayer but will be slightly different from a singleplayer game

I think only half of us are into modding and the other are player who doesn't know a thing about gaming let alone modding and see modding as something that's not intended by the "author" of the game

I strongly recommend Multiplayer Time mod. You would have to walk your friends through the install process. But they are going to have to install mods anyway if you are all playing together right? Vanilla only allows max 4 players.

I believe they are codded with FTM in mind

Personal greenhouse? I think I've heard of a mod that gives each player their own greenhouse. But everyone needs the mod installed, those who don't will use the host's greenhouse.
So it might just be 4 corners with 2 player per corner except one

Personal cellar is not a problem. Everyone is able to upgrade their own cabin as if it were a farmhouse. Only the host can upgrade the farmhouse proper.

With 7 people you honestly might run into the problem of people not having much to do day to day
If all the money has been spent on seeds and 2 people already prepped and planted... people have already foraged everything that spawns... all the trees are cut... the only real things left are mining and fishing

Every player needs a cabin. With 7 people you will need 6 cabins.

No, IF2R is supposed so support an override feature where you place a tileset on the png in there and it overrides the main tilesheet

if the house pngs and the greenhouse pngs are separate, you have to merge them, and then place in the overrides

hi! so i just started using mods today. Started with recolors, those are pretty! and some furniture replacements. Now i found some really cute hair and clothes, i got the hairstyles working by using get glam mod. But i just can't figure out how to use those clothes that i downloaded in game. Is going to the wizard's back room the only choice?
edit: i have content patcher too and the clothes are CP version mods
If the clothes are CP... then it depends what in game clothes they replace. If it's clothes you choose on startup, you'd have to visit the wizard. If it's other clothes items, you would have to tailor them yourself at Emily's house.

- My skirt can be found in girls pants category No.4.
- As most of shirts textures require color combination with skirts, the palette image is attached to help you change color of your skirts easier in the skirt folder.

If they're talking about changing color of skirts, that's tailoring/dyeing.
However all the basic pant/skirt options (including that #4 one I think) can be chosen on start up and at the wizard

as far as i can tell, the mod should be compatible in the sense that it should work, but they may have different view of character

as far as i know, STF allows you to not have issue if you don't have the pack of the item, just a small grey or yellow message in the log
(something like "can't find item whatever to add to the shop")
so since garden village use STF as far as i know you shouldn't need to have a certain amount of pack
it will probably be less interesting to visit if you don't have packs and only vanilla items, it's all

hello everyone! i am wondering what could be causing this system out of memory exception:

it has happened before but lately it's been happening every two to three in-game days. the game starts to severely lag after it happens, but it doesn't crash.
i have downloaded several new mods lately so i might be the problem.
(small note on the mods which are not updated in the parser: i updated the most recent versions but smapi doesn't recognise it (keeps asking me to update even after i've updated both from nexusmods and chucklefish forums; and i'm too scared to update harder cc bundles because i use the ppja setting and when i changed the setting after updating last time, parts of the community centre closed).
i see u use windows 7, how much ram do u have maybe to less ram or u ram have a failure x)
If you have the latest updates, and SMAPI says you still need to update, it's because the manifest.json files for those mods weren't updated with the latest version number by the mod author. It happens, but if you know for sure you have the latest version of the mod, it's harmless

which seemed to be a problem with the base game in some cases
i'm not very savy but i've been here about it before and that's what they explained

especially since this problem didn't happen before with the same game, nor with other games which take up much more capacity
it never happens with vanilla since it seems to be a clash of the vanilla map and the sve map
it started happening after the 4.0 update but in much lesser degrees
then it stopped for a long time

than it can be a ram problem, if so many mods runs long enough, they need to load more and more and when 1 block of 1 ram have a failure and they reach this points, there is your fail

I'm going to put it on hold temporarily since my goal this weekend is to get updates out for the mods I maintain though.

Yeah that issue was resolved fairly quickly since it wasn't just SVO causing it. It still might plague a few users but there isn't much you can do besides what Ken said.

My game is βlevelingβ me up to Farming level 10 every day, prompting me to choose a profession. Iβve already chosen all three because this has kept happening, but now itβs not letting me progress because itβs waiting for me to choose a profession.
And I canβt do that, because I already have them.

I shut down my game and disabled the profession.
I hate that I had to lose a full in-game day of work, but hopefully that fixes it.

I think what Iβll do is Iβll load up the day I lost today, then just go straight back to bed into the next day. If disabling the profession fixed the issue I was having, Iβll roll the game back a day and start over from the day that I lost.
So I just saw that one of my mods tells me when farm animals would like treats, which is cool, but I don't know what to give them or which mod. I have 58 mods, so big shrug
