I'd recommend to play without mods for now. If you get to know the game you'll know what is less interesting or tedious for you and then you can change that with mods.

you can delete the festival part of mona and it should be enough to let you participate in them but not get softlocked

the content.json of the mod has "FromFile": "portraits/Mona{{SeasonalValue}}.png", while the portraits are named Mona_x. i wonder if that makes the seasonal variants not show, not sure about the format

for the buildings, i don't know what that vintage buildings mod is. there are likely something similar on nexus
it's complaining about a folder named "assets", might be texture replacement
or just a faulty install of some mod
content patcher now supports seasonal buildings; if you don't have a version that works with CP's method of seasonal buildings and it is farm buildings you can use Customize Exterior
does anyone know if portraiture works on mobile? I have the mod in the folder with shie's portraits and there's no errors in the log but the portraits for the npcs are still default

you can bring up the command thing but if you try it exits out of dialogue
and if you press p out of dialogue it says it doesn't know the command
if the mod supports it, you can change the keybinding to VolumeUp or VolumeDown on mobile

Yeah don’t use xnb files. They can cause many issues

You renamed/deleted the original xnbs and added the new on the same tab as the original with the same name?
And they will disappear is the game updates
xnb mods shouldn't cause issues by themselves but if you're using smapi mods there's a high chance they clash with each other
Unless the XNB mod is outdated
XNB mods have a lot of limitations, often conflict with each other, usually break when the game updates, are hard to install and remove, etc.
XNB mods are an older type of mod and are no longer recommended. SMAPI can't validate them for compatibility. Use XNB mods at your own risk,

Hey everyone! Is there anyone experienced in netcode errors regarding multiplayer? Currently facing an issue where the connecting player is stuck on the loading screen. FWIW I've tried removing mods one by one, but I wasn't able to find out if it's something that's mod related. I reported a bug issue to the dev of Yet Another Harvest with Scythe Mod and said he can't produced such bug and told me it is just an interaction with other mods
so I delete the better garden pot mod, and it is working properly.

Anyone wanna stress test my Hydroponics mod? It basically adds a PFM/JA machine that let's you grow almost all of the vanilla crops inside a shed, barn etc. Just plug your seeds in and wait for harvest

I am using seasonal portraits and the seasonal anime portraits II mod -- and everyone looks right except pam. Pam is ...from the seasonal portraits but everyone else is from anime. When i search for Pam in my mods folder, all I see is portraits for Pam as Anime...so where the heck are these Pam portraits coming from?

I had pam up I think. But I've seen Abigail, Leah, Emily, Victor, Olivia and Gunther since, and they are all good. But Penny, Vincent and Haley are vanilla as well. So it's weird that Vincent, Haley, Caroline , Penny and Pam are vanilla but others aren't. And Jas is her own weirdness from some odd mod I installed awhile ago but haven't seen till now. Is there a mod that highlights items in inventory/chests/etc. which are needed for bundles? I know the LookupAnything mod has it in the item info modal, but I am looking for something that doesn't require me to inspect each item.

@onyx light by "inspect" do you mean just selecting/hovering over the item? i'm not aware of any that highlight the needed items, but the community bundle item tooltip mod makes a tooltip pop up if your mouse is over a needed item/when the item is selected. it doesn't work for items with prefixes though, say if the bundle needs wine, it won't show the tooltip for melon wine etc.
@shy orbit Yeah, even hovering is a hassle when looking at a chest full of items. It is much more convenient to have some sort of indicator on the item slot itself

Does anyone know of a mod to allow animals to come out during winter?
Also, on SVE, it lists winter grass as a requirement and says that it prevents custom grass from disappearing during the winter. Do you know what grass this is referring to? Is it important?
winter grass is an optional one
But if you dont want the grass in custom locations to die in winter and never come back, i suggest it
I've been using it this whole time, but I just considered the fact that barn animals don't necessarily need to be inside their barn for the entire day. Then I decided to look up a mod for it, but also if I have winter grass that my animals are able to graze on, it's kinda cheaty.
Basically, all grass in the town/forest won't regrow on y2 if you don't install the mod
You could not install heaters on barn and coops, they give about the same bonus to happiness
I did some minor research and some farms apparently graze their cows in the winter, in snow as deep as 18 inches. Realism justifies it enough for me to not be worried about that aspect lol
Highland cattle I'm pretty sure are designed for snow.

so im using an Ace's MTN map and i'm having these issues in MP. cabins dont get a mailbox notifications but the mail is there, after events cabin players are teleported to the main house instead of their cabin, and it now always requires a friend code, instead of just being able to join each other like we did for other maps. I think its a MTN related thing.

yeah the farm screenshot mod says its pathname in the log, and it saves into the stardew screenshots in roaming so it goes through your user name. 
can your friend send a log too? it doesnt look like there is anything wrong in yours
or maybe play the game with ur friends, experience the error then send the log?

yes i think mtn is generally just buggy hehe, i know the cabin/letterbox not showing up bug is common with custom farms but it usually seems to resolve itself after a while so i dont think there is anything really that can be done atm sorry

how i would do is unpack the map, copy the assets for it in the same folder, open it with tiled, go to the proper layer (probably buildings) and delete them, save it, repack the map, and put it where the old one was, (keeping a backup of the original)

@rare quest I experienced a tiny issue when rewriting the greenhouse interior of if2r. Basically the things from the shed moved into the greenhouse. Isn’t too big of an inconvenience but figured I’d let you know. FYI was rewriting with bonster’s prismatic greenhouse.

That's because the shed is actually part of the greenhouse map. 
Slap this into your Maps folder, and it should have those 2 bushes removed, id recommend keeping a backup of the original, as always

The only way that uninstalling a mod should mess with it, is if its overwriting game files instead of getting put in the mods folder, which 99% of mods do nowadays, at least for PC. (I'm unfamiliar with Android Stardew)

Karmylla's Immersive Maps and Stardew Valley Expanded are no longer compatible. Remove one of them to fix the error. (When downloading a mod update, make sure to read the file description for update instructions!)

yep. inside is a readme document (which does not have any instructions aside from "this one is installed with content patcher") and one more folder which has assets, and content and manifest json files
i tried looking for gaveliere's mysterious furry mod manually in my computer too but wasn't able to dig it up anywhere i looked
can you try just taking the folder that has content, assets, manifest, etc and putting that folder into the mods folder and get rid of the outer one?
