No se si algo "malo" pasaria, pero me imagino que si ay nuevos eventos, nuevo dialogo, o nuevas notas, no van a tener traduccion. Perdone que no tengo los acentos adecuados; ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que escribi en español

Apparently for them SVE is updated. The way the Spanish translation mod they're using makes SMAPI say it's not.
Interesting. I see spanish three translations of SVE, and the most up to date one is at 1.10.2 but still has the update key pointing to the main SVE which is at 1.10.7
So it is probably outdated, but I don't know if that'd cause that issue

You need to install the main SVE and then install the translation on top of it, so it's entirely possible it messes something up, especially if the translation is out of date

@rare quest Hey Flash, a user (Tomita-Chan#7005) is having an issue using SVE 1.10.7 + this spanish translation (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5623) last updated for version 1.10.2. (They updated SVE to the latest because they said 1.10.2 has an issue with an event with Sophia).
The specific error they're seeing is here: #archived-modded-support message.
A few questions:
- Is this being caused by using the old translation?
- If so, is there anything they can do to resolve it besides waiting for the translation to be updated?

@pastel arch Just checked the changelogs: The error is from a compatibility error between NPC map locations and SVE. It was fixed in 1.10.3, but the translation is on 1.10.2

It is an error with the question fork. Either there is no dialogue key for the response, or there is just something else wrong. I have seen many question code errors! And since yours is translated, the dialogue response may not have been trasnlated fully?
yeh dialogue key error. So the response code you give should also be in the char's dialogue, but if it has been forgotten or spelt slilghtly differently (or incorrectly capitalised) then it will not be able to find it.

Your computer probably has an internal HDD, which are a bit older, but typically cheaper per space. SSDs are more expensive, but anything on an SSD loads faster than an HDD.
Definitely. When building a computer it's always recommended installing Windows (and thus the C: drive) on an SSD so your computer starts faster.
I install any large games or games with lots of mods that I expect to be playing a lot on my SSD. Everything else goes on the HDD.

Obviously have to switch them out often cause SSDs will typically be smaller than the HDD.
Processors are crucial more so for 'calculations' during gameplay, like NPC AI (which Stardew has none of), where as bootup speed, SSDs are far and away more crucial.

After just a basic google search, average results I'm seeing is about 10x the speed, which does more or less directly relate to any games startup.
Now, should they go spend $80 extra on a $15 game? That's up to them to decide. I'd personally just start the game then go make some tea.
just for interest: i tried by copying the stardew installation from my ssd to hdd and timing the starting times once from both media with bash time built-in, results: hdd 1min 18s, ssd 1min 0s
the ssd probably isn't top of the line, i don't remember what brand it is or anything

Try reinstalling the mod. Maybe that will fix the issue for the time being, but I'm not sure.
It may also be good to check your inventory and any chests to make sure you don't have any seeds/crops in them (can trash them)

Pretty sure that's a one and done mod paving the way for other mapping mods like SVE.

If you miss any you can break saving; SMAPI has gotten resilient enough that you're probably not going to crash the game itself but you might crash the save handler.

Instant grow trees just does what it says but any viable tree will instantly grow and if you cut them down the saplings will be trees the next day. Great for speeding up fruit tree growth
But kinda a pain to leave on permanently

I use entoarox framework just to reset bushes for when I add mods that change the map (adding shortcuts, etc.)

@cobalt tendon The magic is that, for the spouse, any warp out of FarmHouse lands at (0,23) (I think? whatever the usual is) on BusStop, regardless of where it's coded to go. I cant enter olivia;s house D: Cause it keeps saying StardewModdingAPI.Framework.Exceptions.SContentLoadException: Stardew Valley Expanded - PyTK loaded map 'assets\OliviasRoom.tmx' with invalid tilesheet path 'spring_z_extras.png'. The tilesheet couldn't be found relative to either map file or the game's content folder.
Anyone know how to fix this?

@pastel arch Sorry for the late reply. Based off of their log, it looks like the SVE tilesheets are still in the TMX folder. They were moved and consolidated within a tilesheets folder in the CP portion of SVE, allowing other modders to target them. To fix their error, they need to fully uninstall the TMX portions and reinstall (clearing the old tilesheets out of the TMX folders).

im assuming its the very last red error in the log, which is relating to Hilltop Immersive Farm but when I take a look at the folder for mtn hilltop farm it's a farmtype txt, a xnb file and a manifest file.
the game started just fine when I made a new save with it, but then i exited to add a different interface mod and went back in to load it up for the first time and this happened

@cobalt tendon I think I found it. Compare the Buildings layer around the door in SGFv2 (using the 2_marriage version):
To the same area in the corresponding vanilla map:
I tried the asset replacing version too which didnt work
Those tiles in the same column should be on the Front layer, not Buildings. It may work for players, but I bet it's enough to throw off NPC warp boundary calculations

@iron canopy kdau figured out the reason why spouses won't leave the house with Seasonal Garden Farmhouse v2. It's because of the building tile right on the warp point (scroll up a bit to see the pictures posted). It should be on the front layer instead

You can edit your save to change your farm type from 0 to 2 https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves#Change_farm_type, but since the layout is drastically different (or probably is, depending on your forest map), you'll probably need to do some farm cleanup both before and after with moving buildings and crops and stuff.
It's not hard to talk to Robin to move a building after, but I'm not sure what would happen if the building was placed outside the new map bounds vs just in an awkward spot but still within the current map size

I'm using the console commands mod and trying to change my farming profession to artisan from coopmaster;
Firstly is this actually feasible?
And secondly, how should I be writing the command in Terminal (I'm playing on Mac) for it to actually change the profession?
I downloaded SMAPI and some mods that I saw were compatible with it on the website. I launched the game and none of them were loaded in or working. Can someone help?
@gloomy tree I think that gives you the profession, but it stacks. You can save file edit or use the ||shrine in the sewers|| to change your profession

When I boot up the game, SMAPI doesn't start.
Are you on Windows and using Steam? Make sure you've set your Steam launch options if so. https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Installing_SMAPI_on_Windows#Option_A:_use_SMAPI.27s_installer Part 2: configure Steam has instructions for that if you haven't seen it!

It's the file path. It's just showing you what your own installer screen will be telling you in green text - you copy it from the installer.
Your final path should look something like this: "Your path here" %command%
So if you have the default file path, it would have told you"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\StardewModdingAPI.exe" %command%
(But a lot of people have it installed somewhere else, so it's important that they make sure it matches where SMAPI actually found the game.)
This is mine: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\StardewModdingAPI.exe" %command%
Yep, that's what should go in launch options, including quotes! Does anything happen when you do that? (Another good reason to get it from installer is how people will accidentally type folder names wrong :P)

If you open that folder, you should have a StardewModdingAPI.exe (you may or may not see the .exe part, depending on if you have extensions turned on, but it has a pufferchick icon instead of a chicken)

Okay! So it seems probably launch options related, then. I would double check all quotation marks are present and accounted for or even re paste them and try launching from Steam again

Yep, SMAPI can read subfolders. You can disable any mod/folder by renaming it to have a . in front of the name, though.

I've made some basic changes to the fishing map with Tiled, and I've replaced the .xmb file within the maps folder - but the latest changes aren't loading. Am I meant to put this somewhere else?

Help, When I try to translate Stardew Valley Expanded into Spanish with its proper modification, replacing the original SVE files, when opening the SV with SMAPI leads to TMXLoader releasing constant red warnings, considerably lowering the fps reaching 5 fps

I believe all coop players need the same mods. Obly time it doesnt matter is when they are reskins/recolors.
But anything that adds features you will all need.

cheats menu and item spawner in particular are unusual mechanics-adding mods that are ok to have desynced; so is tractor mod, because pathoschild did shenanigans involving making the tractor be internally a specific fancy horse
