my game is a huge mess rn LOL
it's been so long since i touched this game, i had so many things to update
realized after i downloaded some that android smapi/cp is at a different update than pc so some mods don't work currently (i'll haveta get the most recent update besides the one i downloaded just now)
biggest problem i'm having right now is, my game is not reading nor able to make any save files; my previous saves won't load in, and when i tried to make a new save to test, after the cutscenes, the game just refuses to save for some reason

I guess just a funny thing that you will all appreciate as you use your mods. My fiance was starting a new game of SDV and modded it, right? 169 mods. My computer would literally I think die if that were my new save ๐

I'm not quite sure if anyone's facing this issue yet, But recently I've encountered an issue with my game (stardew valley mobile), while upon installing the stardew valley expanded mod with all its components the second I boot up my save file everything starts running at a solid 1 FPS, I've got a pretty decent phone and I'm pretty confident it's not a performance issue, rather a mod related issue since I was able to use the mod completely fine couple of weeks ago. My logs are completely fine and are error free but I'd provide my logs anyways if necessary.
Any help regarding this matter would be appreciated, ping me if you've got any solutions to provide.
Heyyy peeps, I'm new, Just wondering is the current Stardew expanded compatible?
stardew expanded is up to date with the latest patch to sdv (base game) but it may not work some other mods that haven't been updated (also possible conflicts with mods that also change map/terrain)
@west heart it may be the large maps that SVE has, but a log is always helpful even if there are no errors

The thing is, the mod worked fine two weeks ago, once I installed the updated TMX loader that's when it all began

Ah! The witch is gone! I had to remove Perks of Marriage, then I think my save file was corrupt. So I reverted back a bit farther. It's fixed but I lost a whole season.

You don't need SVE to use IF2R, from what I understand. You can check out Immersive Farm 2 as well (Jesse's unofficial)

Hi, everyone! I just updated SMAPI yesterday after taking a break from the game, and it crashes whenever I try to roll over from spring 28 to summer 1
I have two parsed logs: one from a whole day of playing (taken by surprise) and one to see if it was truly a SMAPI error crashing the game or if it was a fluke (still crashed)
Can anyone give me a hand figuring his one out, or tell me if it's a known issue?

sve can't load a summer tilesheet for some reason. i recommend deleting sve and all its folders and reinstalling

would a recolor mod affect that at all, or would sve override that and still cause a crash?
i use daisyniko's earthy recolor and sve and havent had any issue
I'd say what's happened is the spring_outdoors folder is in the mods asset folder and smapi is looking for the summer equivalent in the same folder.

Yep, probably leftover from an old version. If [TMX] Stardew Valley Expanded Locations/assets/spring_outdoorsTileSheet.png exists, delete it. Not affected by recolors.

does any one know if you can use immersive farm 2 with errosavia's greenhouse?
If you're using the latest update, there's a config for using a different greenhouse. The information is in a stickied comment.
Best results would be installing FHR, but if the greenhouse you want to use doesn't have additional warps (like to more rooms/cellars), it should work without.
(This is for the fixed original version, not the remastered version on SVE's page.)

i dont know if u guys remember that i couldt seem to use artisan valley in a specific savefile, i gave up for a while but now im trying this, im gonna share so maybe that can help other people too: right click ur stardew valley on steam, open properties, local files, browse local files, change the name of the folder content to content_old, go back to the properties steam window, select verify integrity of game files (i had to click twice for it to work), and now it makes a new content folder. Remember to back up everything before messing around, now i'm trying to open smapi with artisan valley, let's see how this goes wish me luck!!

You can just verify your files, you know.
It'll uninstall any XNB replacers you were using, but if that fixes the problem the XNB mods were the problem anyways.

@cedar nimbus Mods are installed correctly, but are framework mods that allow other people to easily add content. You need to install content packs for them, the same way you installed CP and CM.
I downloaded immersive farm map earlier. Farmer to florist literally looked like it disappeared. I looked in cbj item spawner, and the potted plants were there; however, all four unzipped files were gone. I deleted the map and went to try to find out what happened, and it was back under ppja farmer to florist, but all four individual files were condensed back into it. Any idea why this happened? And, if so, if I went back with immersive farm 2 would there be another conflict

Okay thanks, making sure since a mod wasn't working and downloaded the official SMAPI by mistake on my mobile.
Always check the logs for more information about which mods you need to troubleshoot it's very helpful
I'd recommend downloading the newer port from the playstore until the other one is updated

Are you sure you havent messed with any of the mods in that folder

Hi all! I set my friend up with Stardew Valley and a couple of mods they wanted, but they've reached day 9 and can no longer continue due to the screen being stuck right before it saves. I have found that it was TMXLoader that was causing it and I'm stumped on how to bypass this does anybody know how to fix this? (Not sure if this is important but they are on a mac)

Has anyone experienced SV not using your GPU but only when I am using SMAPI? I swear it was running on my GPU last night but this morning it's not.

I've got Stardew Valley.exe set to use my GPU in NVidia control panel, but not StardewModdingAPI.exe
However if I set it to use the GPU, the Stardew Valley.exe still isn't listed as using the GPU.

Not sure about that Enhanced one, but mine uses FHR to allow the walls and floors to be changed. But the issue is SVE doesn't work with FHR for some people. I can't recall the issue exactly aside from the spouse rooms
I have other custom spouse rooms and they work fine with FHR, so ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

Hi all, I'm re-modding my game after an extended break from playing (fresh install, newest SMAPI, fresh save) and am attempting to play with both Stardew Valley Extended and the recommended Immersive Farm 2 Remastered and I'm running into an issue. Upon loading up (using SMAPI launched through Steam) and starting a new game, I can see by the farm layout that SVE is working, but not IF2R. Can anyone help me get this working? I can supply screenshots of my SMAPI console or mod folder structure if need be. Thanks in advance! ๐

Hey again, trying to troubleshoot my own issue RE: getting Immersive Farm 2 Remastered to work with SVE -- the SMAPI player guide says we can use subfolders within the Mods folder to organize groups of mods, but most mod installation instructions on Nexus just say to drop the extracted files directly into the Mods folder.
My question is, does this mean that mods may not load correctly if I put them in organizational subfolders?
You can use subfolders as long as the manifests are all on the same level in those folders

Multiple mods want to provide the 'Maps\spring_houses' asset (PyTK, Content Patcher), but an asset can't be loaded multiple times. SMAPI will use the default asset instead; uninstall one of the mods to fix this. (Message for modders: you should usually use StardewModdingAPI.IAssetEditor instead to avoid conflicts.)
Fix that
(that message is usually from two different types of content packs trying to both edit the same thing. In this case TMXL and CP)
Check your content packs - you apparently have two of them editing the houses files. If you are trying to use IF2R, my guess is you have that and a buildings replacer

I pulled the medieval buildings out from the folder and it wasn't that.

Hello, i just install SVE but three are some problem.. There are 2 Marlon in the map (i used NPC Map Location SVE), the one in the Adventurer Guild is invisible and another Marlon is just walking around the town.. Is it supposed to be like this ?
And also Leah seems to be locked in her own home.. I cannot see her at all in the town during the day and night..

which expansion mod should i use?
That's a hard question to answer, since everyone likes different things. Most of the time you can just pick and choose whatever you want - there are lots of map mods on the Nexus, many NPCs to choose from, lots of added content via crop/machine etc. You don't have to pick an "expansion mod", of which only something like SVE and PPJA come to mind because of their size, and they do different things. It would help if you said what you were looking for, so that people would be able to talk about their favorite mod for that thing.
Oh, and Sundrop, of course.
So things like, "I want more content for the townspeople" could be like "Oh! (D)SVO and various dialogue/event mods. Immersive Shane and ... " etc, where "I want the maps to look different" or "I want to see new NPCs" would have different responses :)
Speaking of expansion mods, anyone know whatever happened to tegobash's Exapansion mod?
Just that the original was abandoned and vaguely remember them looking for help for working on the later version. I know it was in need of updating for a long time, and Tego came back for awhile, but I'm not sure what the plans for it were/are, or if their Discord is still active. You could try searching it up.
I dont think it is, I remember being in it for a little while and it disappeared, same thing with the mod, it was hidden, I wonder if it will ever come back

Console companies won't allow arbitrary code to be executed on consoles. It makes it easy to pirate games on them, which in turn makes the 3rd party game developers weary. Thus, no mods. ๐

I don't think I told you to use any particular one, just explained the updates that I'd made. But I was checking because I made an edit to how it fixes adjacent warps, and I was hoping for feedback on whether or not it worked with other edits, and Lyell was specifically one I wanted to test

mouse didn't actually say for me to use that .. but i was mashing farms up and when things were explained to me i decided to try it on its own instead of all my editing cause it is always better for me to use the origional then mash cause things break
im using tmxl for the warp for lyell though so wouldnt that get past the cp patch

Any map that has to change where you land when warping to it has to edit the adjacent maps for the warps. It used to load the whole maps and I switched to just replacing the Warp property.

Delete "Collision_GreenHouse.tbin" in Farmhouse Redone's assets/maps folder.
(Thanks to Tanpoponoko and DonFrosty for testing out the solution.)
It removes SVE's custom spouse rooms. Custom spouse rooms in general aren't compatible with FHR houses that move the spouse room.

Ohh..
You can still marry custom NPCs, but their rooms will be empty.
(you should do this with any NPC spouse room though, since it's not SVE specific)

okay so my friend on windows is trying to download mods but everytime they open their game files, there's no mods file

the mods they downloaded should be rar files ... they need to be extracted .. to do this right click on the mod file then click extract here
be sure to do this in the mods folder

if she means the game launch option ... go to the steam console where it shows the games u have installed ... right click on stardew valley , click properties then launch option

Now after loading into a game file when the house hasn't updated.
I can't seem to exit out the house, and it's just pitch black.

i do all it says at the mod page, but in youtube video mod i see it puts "single" in the relation list, in my game it isn`t appear, and i can"t give him the bouquet

you only need to erase from config file that command(line 395), cause in not compat SVE version they add a room to wizard house, they forget to remove it
