The 'Jungle Temple and City Bus' error is due to the SMAPI 3.3 change. That one isn't a bug, the author will need to update their mod for compatibility (it'd break in an upcoming game update if it didn't break now).
I'd just remove the jungle temple mod for the moment, since it has some other issues besides the latest one. It's really just a demo, anyway.

so I assume this has been brought up before but ever since the update, my farm has been ruined. I was using the expanded farms mod. i don't mind so much to "lose" the expanded area, but it totally screws up the layout. how can I fix it?

Do you know which game version you had before the update (or when the last time you played was)?
So you probably had Stardew Valley 1.4.3, which released on December 13th. I'm not aware of any changes in 1.4.4 or 1.4.5 that would break farm maps though. Are you using the Content Patcher, MTN, or XNB version?

SMAPI will read into subfolders too, so it may load mods from it. If you want to disable a folder, put a dot at the beginning like .backup.

It's hit or miss Renn. A lot of people have crashes from the parts that aren't working. Space and Martyr are working on a fix I believe

Hi, I'm having an issue. I installed artisan valley and dependents, including fresh meat. The second I downloaded the PPJA fruits and veggies that is required to run the fresh meat mod, ALL of my seeds disappeared. Came back when I deleted the mod, but my machines have never worked and my meat recipes and seeds won't show up at all either. I have made sure every single mod is separated from the folders and put in correctly. I have red text whenever I boot this up stating that I have no custom machines. I loaded them first with the mega pack, and when that didn't work, downloaded them individually. Any idea why this is happening

I did. I did a fresh and clean install both times, I even deleted every dependent mod and freshly installed

Anyone that uses Mega Storage, I'm looking for testers on the next version. I completely rewrote the way chests are saved/loaded in a way that's hopefully safer, but there's always a risk to these types of changes. Please @ me if you can help.

that's the virtual keyboard, needed to activate keybinds for your mods
Removing the Virtual Keyboard mod will remove that, though it's pretty useful as Minerva said.

Aly, there's several updated BFAV mods that use the 3.0 format, you can check those for examples of the correct format

Not sure what happened exactly, i broke a barrel and all drops froze, unable to pick anything up. I had a mod that changed the texture of my sword and it's swing, so you can see it floating in air.
There is no config editing now, it's all content pack based instead. I think the command has some info

So I have a question, the mod Item bags has two versions, a stable and a beta version. My question is, should I use the beta version or stick with the stable version(Even if outdated)?
If a mod was updated after Nov 26, 2019 for BFAV, it's likely in the correct format. If not, you may have to convert it yourself (any open source animals Spring and I likely converted and sent to the authors, but some are inactive)
Stick with the stable for now - you shouldn't get update alerts for the beta

Yes Aly, that's the old guide, the one linked in the command is the correct one. As I said if it's been updated since the 1.4 SDV update, it will work by drag and drop. If it wasn't converted, it won't work at all

the issue is that both JA and Spacecore fail to load on loading save, opening inventory causes some kind of Id failure(?) and Sailor styles has issues loading because of some ID thing
is there a maximum work time for deluxe augrabber mod? I noticed that sometimes it doesn't harvest all the crops in the morning
SailorStyles doesn't work right now, it crashes
Since it has a JsonAssets component, JsonAssets then crashes
so... when i make a new character JA doesnt crash
but SailorStyles only crashes now because it doesnt have a "spring_daisyextras.xnb"
Looks like Sailor Styles overrides the tilesheets, but it loads it from Content/spring_daisyextras instead of Content/Maps/spring_daisyextras like SMAPI 3.3+ and the upcoming game update do. Not sure why it's manually overriding tilesheets, but that's something the author would need to fix.
(Which I believe I told you to notify the author about earlier Lillie)

When you have loads of mods installed on stardew valley and it causes plenty of crashes when playing with friends. Oh my lords. But we're just kinda dealing with it, since it still lets us play and we're stubborn enough. (I get kicked off the server like every 10 minutes LOL.)

@outer turret I just downloaded your Mr Ginger but I'm wondering if it will play well with my Jas Dialogue Expansion and also what do I need to do to make Shane's sprite work with dsvo?
Jas expansion will be fine but the storylines may not fit (let me know how that goes!). Unless it also adjusts her morning schedule (she ignores the ginger cat standing beside her anyway sincee my Jas expansion isnt releases yet). As for DSVO it depends what version of Shane you are using. Hes reading a book to Jas in one scene with 3 custom frames so he will likely just change clothes or skin tone for those few frames. Which may be weird but should still work!
I did edit the various sprites to make them match the various DSVO outfits but I havent heard if they have uploaded them and they're overhauling it anyway so I am at some point going to do a cutback version that just doesnt use the custom sprites at all

@dire fractal The issue seems to have fixed itself after sleeping, same with the stuttering after walking.
I'm trying to use DustBeauty's seasonal farmhouse interior but my character seems to be spawning in the wrong place each morning. instead of in bed, I'm just randomly around in the house. I reload the save file and t doesnt seem to fix anything. I checked my log and there are no apparent errors with this mod, and i have removed all mods that change my house interior layout.
On the nexus page ths doesnt seem to be a common issue, so I'm stuck.
(I would include a log, but its too large for the log parser to handle >~<)
Anyone have an idea for what might be happening here? This is the part of the log that appears whenever I actually crash - as in, stardew valley itself just absolutely crashes on me and freezes steam.

that's exactly what I need, yeah
The "Input" chest has the rules "Take from this chest" and "Don't put items into this chest"
The "Output" chest, similarly, has "Don't take items from this chest" and "Put items into this chest" toggled
is there a way to move items from inside a building to outside the building?
(this is why I never wanted to download automate, i knew I'd end up trying to turn SDV into Factorio :P)

Probably because Im using unofficial versions for unupdated mods. honestly havent had an issue until installing the seasonal farmhouse mod
you need to update SMAPI and a few framework mods, and you have a pretty outdated version of SVE
i don't see any errors from seasonal garden farmhouse in your log though
the "can't find save" error is caused by an outdated version of Upgraded Horse

You can use different mod groups with shortcuts https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Player_Guide/Getting_Started#Can_I_have_different_mod_groups.3F or just temporarily rename your Mods folder to anything but Mods to play with SMAPI but without any mods loaded. If you're on Windows, you can clear your launch options in Steam so that it starts the vanilla game instead of SMAPI, or you can run the chicken icon StardewValley.exe instead of the pufferchick StardewModdingAPI.exe in the game folder. Mac and Linux users can run StardewValley-original instead of StardewValley.

That would be the cause of that error. You can reset your content files but that will remove XNB mods

It was a rune circle from the witch furniture. Seems from some comments, a few people have issues with small items from the mod that once placed, can't be picked up again? Some people found out how to but never wrote down how.

I used to have that problem too. then I didn't for some reason. My OOM logs were so big that the smapi logging couldn't process the files and just broke down crying.

Hi folks, I am trying to play my game with some mods, and I am having issues. I created a save last night with some mods on my PC, and now I am trying to play the same save with the same exact mods on my Mac, and I can get to the main menu, but as soon as I load into my save, it gets past the load and then crashes. I can see my house, and character, but they are very dark, and barely there. UI Info is the only other one that I know of that adds map tracking

Is it possible a mod can interfere with someone joining a game in multiplayer? I have had one friend who was able to join my game no issues, but then another who is only able to join for a few moments at a time. If that friend hosts a farm, we are able to stay connected.

I checked every mod I downloaded to make sure it said it was multiplayer compatible, and none said that they needed to be downloaded by all users.
It might just be a normal connection issue thing then; not caused by a mod. If you post a log from the friend who only can join a few moments at a time we can narrow down the real cause.

I've never used an XNB file. I only use content patcher versions because I don't know how to install an XNB file at all

Hi guys! Ive recently gone back to a modded save and updated all my mods. My save had a previous version of SVE that included grampleton fields. Since its been removed, I've been getting a smapi error about the overridden update loop and failing to load an asset. Any idea of how to fix?
On the wiki it said the update shouldn't affect even those who already have grampleton fields from the old version
smapi did say it automatically removed the invalid location to prevent a crash - does that have something to do with it?
A recent SMAPI/PyTK update changed how TMXL maps are loaded, and the old Grampleton pack won't work without a fix, which isn't incoming since the pack was dropped.

You can uninstall the Grampleton Fields pack and it should still work. You'll get the text about the location being removed and you won't have anything you placed there, but otherwise it should be fine.

I have tried disabling all the mods one at a time, and still doesnt work. Every player has the same mods installed, and all up to date. Smapi is up to date also for everyonee

Without smapi, if i run vanilla, everyone can join with no issues and there is no lag. With smapi, all players get kicked every 10 minutes or so. And players are rubber banding all over the place

So I was just clarifying whether or not there were known issues only while running SMAPI.
Seems to just be smapi. I tried disabling all mods and running in smapi, and still there is network issues. At first i thought maybe it was Automate, since we have a lot of stuff automated. But after disabling that and all the other mods it did not resolve.
And again it was fine up to this point, it only started with the most recent version of stardew valley that came out a few weeks ago, and smapi 3.2
Before this, we all played together no issues

What do you mean by hack item menu, mailyn? Do you mean the item spawner? If so, there are two different mods - one is cheats that you press p to open, the other item spawner you press i to open.

Apologies, my memory might be wrong, but I don't remember installing a separate grampleton fields pack - I think it was just included in the old SVE edition

It was. But it's not in the most recent ones, so when you update, it shouldn't try to load it any longer.
(It hasn't been included for some time, even as an optional download.)

I did install smapi. They're also in the correct place as when I copy and paste the folder placement from con- mk
reinstalling stardew on mac/linux partially uninstalls smapi

@gleaming kestrel Since Morris doesn't have any heart events in vanilla, you're probably talking about SVE? (It helps to say what you need help with :P ) If you've checked the event guide and definitely meet the conditions, it may be a bit before there is someone around here that can dig into it more. You may have better luck asking on the subreddit :)

One thing you can do to make sure the game thinks you meet all the conditions is check the event guide, then load your save when you think you should get it and do a patch summary to look at all the current conditions at the top of it (day, season, hearts and events seen, etc). If you're comfortable opening and browsing the content.json, the event itself will have the most accurate info, too.
That's a good idea. I'll give the content.json a peek real quick.
id like it if someone made a mod for when ur making a character creation u can make urself fatter and smaller or taller and skinnier
That would be nice! It seems like it would be really hard to do though, with the way the farmer base works 
Although, you could use Get Glam to just install a different base if one were made available, I suppose.

Bah, I figured it out. Turns out I was dumb and merged the updated SVE instead of a total replace, meaning the grampleton files were never deleted

The mods folder SMAPI is reading from is at D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods

When I paste it into file explorer I end up there too
@gritty harness It's good to do a clean install after a long time away, but if you never installed it as a separate pack, it shouldn't have been even trying to load it even if the files were still there, since the content.json would have been replaced. Weird that it worked, but glad you got it sorted!
I've poked around the content.json and all it says is, "When": { "HasSeenEvent: 191393": false },
Which I assume means the completion of the Community Center.

Yeah, it specifies Y1, dammit.
For his 2-heart event, at least.
And the 4-heart might be dependent on that? I'm not familiar with code enough to tell.
rowan, are the mods you installed unzipped? Your log says you have several zip files in the Mods folder.
