What specifically is happening?
Im on nexus mods. I go to main files. I press manual download. I don’t have premium so I press slow download. It starts the 5 second countdown but then nothing ever happens after the 5 seconds

Do you have a firewall? SVE is a larger file so it's possible that firewall is blocking it when it didn't block other things
No there’s no option for that. All the other mods downloaded after the 5 seconds

hi guys so i just got married to lance in the sve mod and i dont know if its related but gus and pierre are gone now?? Its monday summer 1 of year three and when i entered pierres shop pierre was missing and gus came walking out of the void, glitched through the shelves and went back into the void again. I know pierre isnt at the island cause its too early and theres no box on the counter to buy things
others could be missing too but i havent looked yet

Hi! I'm new to this modding stuff so I was wondering if someone could help me with my game crashing. I can load into the game just fine and move around my house but as soon as I leave the house my game closes. I have over 100 hours in this save so I would like it if I didn't have to restart.

So reinstall Date Night. If that doesn't work, reinstall SVE
And if that doesn't work, you may have to get rid of the mod, but I don't know why :S

The thing that bugs me about the date night thing is I know Sophia's date night on the porch works because sometimes I forget to swap off her as main spouse at the end of Spring, which was when I married her (Spring 27)

But yes. If your save file ever has mods saved onto it, it will have data in SaveGameInfo that vanilla will no longer be capable of reading. You must play it with SMAPI and Error Handler to play "vanilla" with it again (so error handler ignores the mod stuff), otherwise the game will crash trying to load the file.

I'm not sure how to do that honestly cuz I've never had to do that before lol I just know that I was able to do stuff in the shop until I added that Pierre to Piper mod because that's the only thing I could think of that would actually affect the shop I removed it from my game files so it should be back to normal but it wasn't the last time I ran my game

If you are having issues with all of your shoes turning your Stardew character's boots red, your boots internal data has corrupted. Thankfully, this is mostly a benign problem, and can be fixed by spawning new boots and throwing away the old ones. To spawn new boots, type debug fin <boots> in your console, replacing <boots> with the exact name of your boots without spaces (e.g. Space Boots become spaceboots).

SMAPI needs two things to run a save file - the file name_numbers and SaveGameInfo
without both, the game will not read the files

I deleted them (but I have them somewhere else) from the game file and now when I go into the game, there are still items but they are blank. If that makes any sense (I’ll upload a photo if I can?) Hey, have you guys ever had a mod that caused you to spawn outside of bounds when going into your farm? I am having that issue and I cannot figure out for the life of me what is causing it
I have went through my SMAPI log over and over and nothing seems to be showing what's happening to me- I decided enough was enough when I had a wizard event and was placed out of bounds and invisible and couldn't do anything
They are not, some of the mods were crop mods so they are planted or in chests and the game crashes when I try and move them into my inventory and it won’t let me axe the planted items.

Hello, I recently downloaded SVE with a few other mods. I also downloaded grandpa's farm. When I started a new game, everything played out as normal at first, but when I tried exiting the farm it didn't work. I just kept walking off the screen and the loading screen didn't appear. I could teleport to Pierre's using CJB cheats menu and walk to the farm but not back to the town square. After some digging, I found out that SVE didn't load because ''its DLL couldn't be loaded'' (IDK if it's related but it's still a problem so some help would be appreciated). Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Heya, I'm having a small issue with some items displaying the wrong icons. I don't think it's a result of a json shuffle as I understand it because the items themselves behave as normal and even the shop icons for the specific items are wrong. As an example, here's my Mahogany Seeds (and the broken purple bottle to the right is supposed to be Rice Shoots). Some items also display a grey oval instead of the normal icon (I noticed it happening with the Prismatic Jelly so maybe it's 1.5-related?). It's not a huge deal since it's very few items with errors so far, but one of them is the Triple Shot Espresso and I can't have that because I'm addicted to the thing lmao.
And that should be fixed with the latest updates to json

I got a problem. my game takes a lot of time to launch through smapi, like it takes around three hours and its very laggy once loaded. this issue wasn't always here, a few days before my game was loading normally

Weird errors but the only thing that was off during my gameplay was that tractor stuck into a mine floor and I couldn't summon it

the physical log doesn't really help b/c whatever it is it isn't getting in the log
opening a terminal and writing like that will cause the error message to stay on the terminal instead of force closing

hmm so a lot of the mods you have that touch events are quite common and thus I'd be surprised if any were the issue, but maybe try pulling event repeater and these mods

While it's a shock you're getting a message about no available cabins (have the host check to make sure they actually have cabins?), it's a good thing you two cannot connect because you guys have a lot of mod mismatch, so you'd be plagued by bugs if you could join

I'd just say try again, and once you hit your character's profile on the farm (or unnamed farmer if you're joining for the first time), just go get a drink of water or something

I installed this mod like its stated but the portraits dont change, any idea why ?
That's a portrait replacer
you have to replace the portraits in the main mod with the ones from that mod
(I am this close to just coding up a content and manifest json and sending it to them at this point though XD)
