Yeah, I suspect it’s hard to debug because it’s specifically a mod interaction
but I cannot figure out why removing Trinkets and only Trinkets fixed it instantly

Mods are so annoying. None of my crop textures are loading.
Okay, so my original ones weren't loading and I looked at the comments and it's not just me dealing with it so its that mods problem. But then I switch over to other ones, like Vanilla tweaks, and even those aren't showing up.

And it keeps telling me stuff has updates, but when I look, none of them are updateable so it's not that as a problem. I go through my Generic Mod Menu to make sure everything is checked, and it still doesn't work.
I wanna manually search all the folders of my mods, but that's gonna be a big pain in the ass because I have over 425 mods.

I did that just to make sure. I even updated the stuff it told me like BAGI, but it still says out of date.
sometimes out of date notifications are bc we forget to change the version in the manifest when we update the mods lol

Well, I mean, I understand somewhat because making mod's and servicing others, and having said mod become more and more important can be stressing. So the last thing you think about doing is changing that small detail because you are so focused on making the mod playable.

Use Custom Music, in the description I believe they tell you how to add .WAV files in to play your own music. Here is the link to the nexus page.

npc's is generally what puts the biggest stress on the SV process, tho the game can easily handle all expansion mods as long as you have a strong enough pc

isn't SAAT limited to adding new music ids basically?
unless that has changed it's not a replacement for custom music except in that specific functionality, but game version 1.6 makes both frameworks obsolete i'm pretty sure
Hey guys! I kind of have a problem with my game. This specific multiplayer server that i'm hosting keeps crashing on the loading screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my pc but still wouldn't work. I've tried out some youtube tutorials (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkdRSk5ebDw), no luck. If anyone could help me, it would be extremely appreciated TT I dont wanna make a new server and start all over again. Btw my game is modded

Hey guys I am using daisyniko earthy recolor and ridgeside village and when I use the map (Which is recolored) the part where ridgside exists is not recolored so it just looks weird Does anyone know how to fix it?

in a lot of other games when you put together two mods that conflict enough to not work the game will flash a logo then just crash completely. saving a lot of pointless loading times

According to them, it’s a bug in MacOS Ventura not setting the quarantine flag properly for actions originating in bash scripts. The relevant part of the OS being triggered is the "System Integrity Protection", which is documented here:

again i had issues with the childtonpc as well when i put it on a save before both kids were toddlers. It might be a game issue or something modders are overlooking

sorry, i should have said it before but you need to load a save for the mod edits to show. the line is in Characters/Dialogue/MarriageDialogue in native and i'd guess it's a mod targeting that
or it could be littlenpcs messing it up

a problem with the mod "coding". you could try adding the Custom_ prefix to it everywhere where the location name is used in the mod to fix it
i mean i don't think so, littlenpcs is pretty new and if it's a problem with it there's a good chance it can be fixed if you report it. if it's a problem with the farmer's children mod then it's easier to fix by yourself probably, because it's not a code mod

That's not part of the mods above and you have the same content patcher files, so that means they had an XNB file in there somewhere (or you do, if this doesn't work), possibly from old mods

Which makes sense, by the way - it randomizes NPCs, then your friend gets one set, you get another, and you always must have the same
i reinstalled it and loaded regular stardew with smapi installed but not actually smapi and the invisible tiles were still there

I won't lie, your issue confuses me, nee. If file verification didn't fix it, and you're loading vanilla and getting that, that in turn says something got baked into your file
Can you load another file and tell me if the same thing happens with the bed in that file?

Yup. This is a weird one. Vanilla is causing a larger bed than usual, but everything comes back A-OK on file verification. I have to assume something got baked into the file, which is why I'm checking a new file
If it's still affecting them on a vanilla file, I might have to throw my hands up and leave it to the super-pros in here

You cannot solve them, you'll just have to deal with them. SVE in particular has an update that removes all the deprecated code, but since it also has content that needs 1.6, the current version won't have the deprecated code removed

All I know is I had to manually fix it with adding old tilesheets back in .14. They should have fixed it in the newest version
But I had the working copy so I just edited manifest up until they put in an actual update
it changes how that menu displays, so it might look better. or it might not, i didn't see anything soecifically to fix that in the release notes
if it doens't I don't think I know of anything, you could try updating spacecore if there's an update available

The RuneMagic mod it used to have only one skill but because of a long story the author had to separate it into 4 skills he is working on a way to either make the skills menu bigger or add dynamic skills to the game (not sure what that means tho)

The C# mods can edit or transmit data to the game in a nunmber of ways, but C# is the programming language they (pretty much) all use

i'm having a slight issue with a mod and i can't figure out why: i'm using pastel foliage by wildflourmods, which is an AT mod that changes how all the trees look. Since i'm using this in an existing save, none of the trees changed on their own cuz of how AT works, so I used ResetTerrainFeatures to despawn and respawn the trees, which worked only kinda
when they loaded back, about half of the trees were recolored by the mod, but about half of them were left alone and i have no clue why
I‘m pretty sure AT‘s standard config is that it randomises which texture any given object will have, so I‘d assume you basically rolled the vanilla texture a bunch of times. Not sure which one you‘ll need, but AT also adds some tools at Robin‘s (iirc) that‘ll allow you to change objects‘ textures manually.

Facing a minor issue - I'm using cometkins' Better Artisan Goods, and the honey is still showing up as a vanilla texture. I'm also using Flower Meads and BAGI, and the icons from those are showing up fine - it's just the Wild Honey that's a vanilla icon.
The mead that's produced from the wild honey is retextured, just not the honey itself, and if the honey is affected by flowers, it's retextured then, too

The thing I see that's generally different - and maybe it's just me - is that vanilla saves use the character's name prefix, whereas modded uses the farm name as a prefix

Hey guys. I'm stuck in a teleportation loop...
I have SVE and adopt n skins. Went and saw the apple cut scene, navigated through the maze and bought a few things from the juminos. Was riding my horse back through the maze to go home and stepped on the portal, was ported back to below the hat mouse, then ported back to the juminos forest, then back and back and back.
It's been ten minutes and hasn't stopped.
Other than closing my game do I have any options to force the teleport to stop?

ok so when i did the tutorial on how to get the patch summary the smapi.latest was from 7minutes before i did the patch su8mmary. how do i get the file to update? close the game?

I have 5 pets and 2 horses (actually, 1 horse according to the game.. even tho two are listed in list_creatures horse '-')
honestly the easiest way is to just disable the mod and see for yourself
as long as you don't save again, it should be all good, unless the mod saves stuff in a weird place/way, but that's very unlikely

I made a big mistake in trying to load a co-op game with myself with two very unfriendly MP mods - NPC Adventures and AnS - and it messed up some things in my game.
All my buildings are now using Yri's buildings skins (but I do not have that mod installed). No idea how that happens!
Even the custom NPC Riley's house has a Yri skin.. guessing it was made using Leah's house bones?
But I'm 98% sure I don't have Yri's town buildings installed and those assets are not part of my mods files. It doesn't seem possible to me.. like where would the game get these assets

I think this has to be fixed manually. I don't think there's a toggle for the flowers. The NPC portrait is on the Cursors sheet. I personally just replace that part of the image with something more to my liking as you can see here
(I think I used one of the vintage interface ones b/c I preferred it and it blends well with it)

hello, i posted a few days ago regarding a previous log where i was having a error in smapi (error in the base update loop). Just to update, I still get this error every few in game days when playing, it tends to freeze for around a second or two then the error appears in my smapi log but it fine afterwards. I've attached my smapi log from today, I was warping to the first slash from ginger island and the game froze on a black screen and kept continuously repeating the error on smapi so I had to restart the game. If anyone has any new insight or can explain? Still feel it is the same error I was encountering the other day when I posted my previous log so still don't think there is a fix lol. so I downloaded the upgrade empty cabins mod and it says to type into console remove_bed and remove_seed_box or something like that, which I did, and it says there's no known command. I typed help into the smapi interface and it lists a bunch of different commands for mods, upgrade empty cabins not being there. is there a known fix? not home rn to post a log but I can do it later
I didn't upgrade the cabin btw, just bought the base one, but I don't know why the command wouldn't be there. maybe I need to go into the config
