Yes, but you'll need Reset Terrain Features and it's also advised to move all buildings as close to your house as possible.

Reset Terrain Features (https://smapi.io/mods/#Reset_Terrain_Features) is a mod that lets you reset, clear, or generate everything that spawns on a map using an in-game menu. That's especially useful when changing maps mid-save, as the debris will otherwise use the old layout (causing things like trees in the water or bushes blocking exits).

So with the ridgeside mod and stardew reimagined 3 mod, all the RSV characters were on inaccessible terrain and I got a smapi error at the bottom. Here's the log:

the mods are just incompatible for that part since both of them try to replace the festival map. if you want RSV characters to be accessible you'd need to remove the patch that replaces the map from SR3
or just remove the map file it uses to replace the map
so can i just delete the RSV festival maps and will it work then? Bc I really want to see the RSV villagers at the festivals and I like SDR3.
the other way around, RSV adds the additional area for its npcs and SDR3 probably doesn't since it doesn't have compatibility with RSV

i went to collect my rewards from gunther and had 2 things to collect and only had 1 slot in my inv and put 1 in my inv and grabbed the other one and im softlocked i tried a ton of commands

It auto saves everytime you sleep. Just re-enter your save.

Restart the day and go to the same spots.
Artifacts aren't "set" when you dig them up (unless you're using a mod changing that behavior).
It'd just start you at the beginning of the first day, so not much of a difference.
If you really want the artifact and you fail to aquire it again, just cheat them in with CJB.

i am trying to play modded multiplayer with my friend through gamepass and we have all the mods installed and everything is working but when he goes into the game it says not signed in and wont let him open the coop menu, can you me with this? and we are using smapi and nexus mods to do this
Um, we don't normally just ping Pathos for any modded issue thing, as an FYI. Usually we try doing something here first before defaulting to Pathos
Still, I don't know the solve on that one so I think I'd have to leave it to... I think Elizabeth's the usual one who knows what to do here?

Joined the discord server to seek help with fixing some broken mods when I had literally just got all loading errors resolved.... but kicked myself when I realized that I chose the wrong one for one of the "duplicate mods" error.
it had a snowball effect that effected like 6 other mods.. lmao.
But eh, I will stick around. I may learn even more here.

That doesn't mesh with my experience of it, as even when I was playing vanilla with friends sometimes one of my friends kept loading in as their character with their mods on (to my immense exasperation). So somehow you're right - it's loading you as not "you"

First, can you load up your vanilla game?

yeah unfortunately LfL does not add much back/additional story. this is basically why I ended up making Immersive Sandy.... b/c I got LfL to marry her last year and it was kind of a disappointing experience b/c she already has so little story in vanilla

yeah that's above my knowledge then, i don't know how it would look different to Stardew there, especially since I have literal (anecdotal, but still) evidence that a friend of mine was able to do the exact same thing you're trying to do

I'd set to lightweight, I think the mode is, as it's the one that isn't as resource intensive

I changed my farm type from hilltop to standard via save editing (opening it in notepad and changing the farm type, very professional i know)
however all the bushes from the hilltop farm are still in place
should i bite the bullet and install whatever you use for actual modding to get rid of them, revert to the hilltop farm, or just keep them
(By "you don't need" I mean everything you have them but they literally are doing nothing for you)

Since you apparently keep asking for whatever reason, I checked the console commands on the wiki (which you should really use, by the way, link is https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Console_commands). Your only options are debug player_setname farm "Lon Lon" (to change farm name to Lon Lon Farm - swap out Lon Lon for whatever), or if you're lucky something like debug customizemenu, debug customize, or debug cmenu
If none of those work for whatever reason? You're SOL

Sometimes mods get flagged by overzealous antiviruses. If you're really worried about viruses in mods you can:
- download from Nexus or Moddrop, which check all files for viruses automatically
- preview the file contents on Nexus to see what you're downloading (content packs containing only images and json files are highly unlikely to be viruses)
- view the source code for most C# mods on Github by going to smapi.io/mods and checking the advanced options
- download and compile the source code yourself
somehow broke my greenhouse,, i had a custom greenhouse mod in my game but i dont think i uninstalled it? but im not quite sure how to fix it
How did you install it?
did you put it in the mods folder or did you do the bad way and put it in the content folder?

Not sure about PyTK in that regards but for most hard requirements SMAPI will give you nice red about "missing dependency" which should help.

I am writing code for a custom content pack for the Farmer Portrait mod. I've got it to work for the different seasons but cannot get it to work for festivals because it is trying to load the seasonal portrait and festival portrait at the same time. (Example: It's the day of the Winter Star and I want it to load the Winter Star portrait but it is trying to load both the Winter Star portrait and the Winter portrait since it is still Winter) Is there a way I can set the Winter portrait to not load on the day of the Winter Star?

I was trying to figure out the issue earlier but the chocolate cake is available in the test file I used

I've got PPJA and some extra chocolate and pizza recipes.
The chocolate one adds in cocoa beans.
I think I've had this problem since before adding those in, though, and it's simply not showing up in my menu as being a thing I can make. The log tells me every time that the recipe has simply been removed.
did you have one of those malformed recipe messages in your log at one point? 
Yeah, it shows up literally every time I play.
It removes a couple other things, like cookies and something to do with blueberries.

LoC changes cake so you need to level up cooking and i think chocolate cake is made out of Cake + Chocolate? like, you have to make a LoC-added Cake item first
yeah the issue is that the chocolate cake isn't even showing up at all as a recipe in the game for Cerulean I believe

I even changed the UI to see if it was just not showing up in the cookbook format, and it's definitely not there in the regular style menu either.

It doesn't matter for this no. The recipe still comes from Queen of Sauce, Winter 14, Y1. It's just a tweaked recipe.

According to the mod page this is a known bug.
all three recipes involve chocolate too, so I think that's the common link but it's a bit unclear to me why it's happening exactly
like I think LoC also changes the pink cake to use the little plain cake item, yet that one doesn't seem to have a problem so it's gotta be the damn chocolate lol
question, Cerulean, did you at one point have the DGA version of PPJA before removing it and replacing with the proper JA version?

Malke, could it be a conflict between VPR and Ace's farmhouse? Try toggling off the wallpaper and/or town interior option for VPR in the config to see if that helps?

it seems as you also did not install fashion sense which is required for some of the clothing you downloaded
when you download mods, usually they'll pop up showing you need another mod require for it to work
theres also a tab in the description that will show requirements for the mod

For everything else, yeah, I had to download a lot of frameworks and dependencies just to let the things I wanted work.
to fix your clothing and hair specifcially: download fashion sense, and it'll give you a hand mirror in the mail in game to change your appearance with.

when you click download for the mod, there should be a little pop up that says "this mod requires __" and a link to the mod if you need to install it. otherwise it doesnt work without the mod requirements
there's also a tab you can click in the description that'll show the requirements

I think it's the chocolate snafu because everything else shows up normally, including the cooked meats that the meat crop mod adds in.

Ok. I have problem solved many many conflicts. And have my game running stable. Obviously some aspects of many mods will have to wait until I come across them, such as events, or places I have yet access to.
But could anyone possibly explain why this happened? I believe it was after I got DaisyNiko's Earthy Recolour working, which after getting the game recolored, I can neer go back to that god awful brightness.
I have gone around all accessible areas thus far, and this is the only building with a weird alignment issue with the top of it's roof.
Its not game breaking, so If I must just ignore it I can, but it does kinda bother me a bit... just a bit. I assume it is an easy fix, I am just at a loss as to how to do it after a few hours of trying and failing to find a resolution.

Hi @scarlet quail - so i'm trying to fix whatever went wrong w Toshi's maps. I have removed ContentUnpacked from my C drive. but Tiled is saying this :/
I put a dot in front of the copy of the TownInt.png that's in his Maps folder as suggested in the Help->directory climbing wiki guide.
i know i also put the TownInt.tsx back in Maps during my last attempt to tweak Toshi Maps for the HospitalBed -- i think this was a mistake. i think you said i need to do the embedding stuff for that one like the Hospital map.. trying to get it all sorted. feeling confused
but it says it's going from the C drive content upacked.. but that;s not in there anymore

I don't know how I can make this clearer outside of restating it, so, I'll restate it fully
When you edit maps, you need to have all its pngs in the same folder. When putting it in game though you should delete any vanilla tilesheet pngs in the folder and then put the mod in the mods folder

Not if you're editing his maps with the tilesheets in a different folder you shouldn't be no

This is how Isla's folder works map wise. You'll notice no actual vanilla tilesheets like townInterior within it
If I attempted to edit any of those tiled files right now, it'd come up like above

for the HospitalBed map... i embedded all the tilesets like we did in the HosipitalRoom. but the map itself for the Bed has turned to red grid w X's. i'm afraid to save cuz Lemur's guide mentioned that this would break in the game. Also do not recall this happeneing w the HospitalRoom map. (the tilesets turned weird and gray but iirc the map image remained un-scary)

yeah... there's def something Weird going on w this HospitalBed map in Tiled. everytime I embed the TownInt another one takes its place. so the tilesets show the sprooms, furniture, and a million TownInt's

My smapi is acting up and I am not smart enough to figure out what all these logs mean
I am getting spammed these different commands repeadetly in my console
Everything is working fine except I cannot open my inventory of map
When I acces my inventory from a chest and try to use it, the overlay for the inventory changes size and acts really wierd making it almost impossible to move back and forth items and interact inside a chest

We have a moded server with about 130 mods. everything was ok until a couple of nights ago, when suddenly it crashed and when I restart the game, no one can join it. well actually they can join the game, but they don't see themselves. they only see my house and my character when I'm in the house. biggest issue I see, and sorry for taking so long, is that you have two copies of the unlimited players mod. Additonally Custom farming automate bridge, custom shop redux GUI, and Pytk are no longer compatible. you need to also add CFAutomate and PFMAutomate. Seems your save backup mod is either not fully there or your backup is corrupted. New game plus is erroring out too as is better sprinklers. In my option, I would remove the mods that are erroring out and go from there, maybe open a bug report with the mod authors should problems persist.

I kept Pytk cause It's needed for some other mods and it didn't generate any errors. But the problem insists. The weird thing we noticed is that our in game time is deferent sometimes. I have no idea how that happens. when its sleep time, some of players get disconnected and then tomorrow when they try to reconnect they turn to ghosts. just watching my house.

Well guys I removed Pytk as well and apparently it fixed the problem. I had a couple of mods that were using it and I really liked them. but more than that I like to be able to play the game. 😂😂
To be fair, you should play without PyTK anyway if you can

Did you unzip the folder you had the SMAPI installer in, vloxium?
Also, are you sure that's the location of your Stardew? that's not the usual install area for something like Steam

i installed it on steam, i duped the folder so i can have the modded folder and an untouched folder

If you want an untouched vanilla and a modded stardew, just set SMAPI as a non steam game, or put in or out the launch options in the properties tab of steam

if it's npc map locations the sprite height can be adjusted with content patcher, for example https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/8174?tab=description does it for many custom npcs. but if that mod doesn't support the npc you'd probably have to make it yourself or ask the author of the npc mod to do it

This warning means that CP and SMAPI have had to disable certain optimizations for pytk. Pytk will work fine for now, but you may see increased lag
TMXL depends on pytk so anything in that section won't work
Usually it's a mod that will break because of not having it. If it helps, there's a PyTK-less beta of ARV in the East Scarp Discord, and beatrice's festival locations are already in East Scarp
So you'd really only lose the Nagito stuff if you tossed it, and tbh you can convert that

How do I fix this? Not very computer savvy. Vortex is on another drive and it can't purge the old mods and therefore won't deploy anything I just downloaded.

That is a possibility. And I can't say if one of your mods might be on the "heavy" side. 
That's my only assumption because at this point I've never seen something like this happen on the usual machines
of course also I normally see GOG Galaxy in the filepath for the 'dew with Galaxy so who knows

Try to clear some space. I can't say if it's the reason or not, but you should solve that issue anyway.
I've been playing since 1.3, you know, the usual 4 months of play and then not touching the game for a year streaks, but I hadn't encountered this issue or any issue in particular since I tried to play SVE back then and the game crashed on save load 😅
SVE would be considered a "heavy weight" as far as I know. 🙂

Uninstalled Sims 4 and that lefts the drive with 17gb of free space, but the game remains frozen and stubbornly open :/

installed blue grass recolor, booted up the game, the recolor works, but now all my items are invisible and the UI info suite mod is also erroring for some reason.
