i have a question ' what does json assets "no idea what pear is? And does it matter if it shows up multiple times. Its not necessarily causing a crash (it takes forever to upload the game)

Oh, you're asking on applying the mods on the old farm.
First up, your farm will immediately change if you're on standard with Grandpa's when loading, but those changes will not save until you save

boxes and trees and such will not be moved/changed, however. I'd get the unofficial of reset terrain features to fix that from adding those
p sure it means you have a recipe with a pear in it but do not actually have More Trees/a pear in your game. It's usually a yellow warning and not game-breaking.
....also though adding those to an in-progress save file might give you 2000000 errors

If you're talking about out-of-bounds stuff, you'll need to noclip to get them. It's generally something you need to have moved stuff before you add the mods to it, to minimize out of bounds stuff

Yeah, that's what I expected. So we've narrowed it to an interaction between the Harmony mods (which is pretty common since they're more invasive). Can you load the save again, run harmony_summary in the SMAPI console window, and post your new log?

Try without Alternative Textures and Animal Husbandry? If it still crashes, yeah we'd basically need to just remove a bunch until the crash goes away to see which mod is conflicting.

Just to try reducing confounding factors to a minimum, does the crash still happen if you remove all the Fashion Sense content packs (so it's just Fashion Sense + Stardew RPG)?

The latest released version of PPJA (Project Populate Json Assets, a popular mod) is a conversion from JA to DGA, but it has some bugs in it, and the mod author has retired. Sticking with the older JA version is probably your best option.
You can download the JA version from the Old Files section on Nexus, or by downloading the latest versions of the standalone components instead of the megapack (except for Farmer to Florist, where you would need to look under Old Files in the standalone version).

It seems Fashion Sense is just using FarmerRenderer.farmerTextureManager. I'm not seeing any obvious reasons in either of the mods' repos why it'd be getting disposed though. Hold on, I'll send you another build in a bit.

The issue is that Stardew RPG sets Game1.player to the same value: https://github.com/aedenthorn/StardewValleyMods/blob/master/StardewRPG/Methods.cs#L169. The game disposes the old instance, but that breaks the game because it's also the new instance. That's a bug in Stardew RPG; it should avoid resetting the player instance if it didn't actually change. @left hollow ^

Well, your SMAPI install had something go wrong if you didn't delete the mods that come with SMAPI, and also if your game is not legit then there can be issues sometimes
If the game won't launch and there's no issue in the log, typically that has something to do with antiviruses on Windows
apologies for the ping. If the troubleshooting has concluded, should I reinstall non developer Smapi along with my mods (leaving out Stardew RPG of course) ?
Yep, you can put all your mods back and install the normal version of SMAPI.

The good news is the issue's an Aeden mod, and Aeden is fast
true. And like I said, at least it wasn't Unique Valley. I'd have been heartbroken
like bugfixes go out extremely quickly and I feel tagging them in their discord would be redundant. I wouldn't be surprised if your issue is fixed tomorrow
(Now if only some of the other Aeden mods with deprecated code would be updated too, we'd be golden XD )

SMAPI strict mode prevents mods that have not been updated yet from working. Unfortunately, many popular mods have not been updated yet. Do not use strict mode
Anyone know what mod might be causing all weapons to turn into black squares? My top suspect is Advanced Melee Framework but I'm looking for other potential causes. The problem is, I'm pretty confident nothing I have should be touching the vanilla weapon textures, so idk what's up.

i had heard tmx was causing issues with load time and that pytk was outdated, but for some reason thought that platotk was like the active successor so to speak
sad to lose seedbag but thats all i needed platotk for sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and was completely unaware of sprite master so ty for that

They're the one who gave the performance improvements and the toggle to disable the smoothing if desired
PlatoTK is newer but only works with like 3 mods

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my screen on SDV. I'm using mods btw. So, whenever I (my character) walks when the screen is moving with my character, it gets kind of distorted, and makes wavy lines on the screen if that makes sense, I'm not the best at explaining things, sorry! The wavy lines/distortion stop when I (my character) goes to the edge of the screen or in a building where the screen doesn't move when I walk. I can provide a video if that would be helpful. /gen

The only things it really patches in SMAPI/CP relate to file loading, so way lower than anything at the content manager level

So, Willy went to his usual fishing trip but hasnt comeback for 20 days
I'm playing multiplayer with 3 more friends
The only things we have done is change the host from me to one of my friends
The mods we use are Stardew valley expanded with immersive farm 2 remastered and npc map locations
So you haven't met Willy yet? Because he's only on a fishing trip until Spring 2, Year 1

There's no fishing trip he ever leaves on
Elliott leaves for his book tour, but that's about it for NPCs leaving
I go to Willy's shop and when i try to enter there's a sign that says that he will come back tomorrow after his fishing trip, when his shop closes he comes out

Maybe try uninstalling Solid Foundations? It's a framework pack that is only needed to load other content packs, which you don't seem to have

Log would probably help determine if it was truly SVE or if there's other factors at play
SVE very much can be a problem, but still best to check other stuff first via a log

Does anyone know how to change this format here to not be a generic response for "NPC" and have it just be for the wizard? because everyone I give a mermaid pendant to or bouquet or w/e has the same response as this, but this is supposed to be only for the wizard (it's the Romanceable Rasmodius SVE mod)
i guess, rather, is there a way i can add in another requirement under "when" to have it be only when giving bouquet/pendant to the wizard?

@ArcaneDescent @JessYoMama You can do it without a mod. Go to %appdata%/StardewValley and open the file called startup_preferences. ctrl + f for "playerLimit" and you'll find something like this: <playerLimit>-1</playerLimit>.
Change the -1 to any number you like...

So what version of cjb's debug, items spawner, cheat menu and lookup anything mods are compatible with smapi for Android since when I try and use them it says I need smapi 3.14 but there is no smapi 3.14 the highest update is 3.7 also forgive me if I'm asking in the wrong channel

if you make the directory ~/.config/StardewValley/ErrorLogs does that problem resolve?
That means going to your home directory (typically under your username on the left side of finder)
Hitting command shift .
To show hidden files
If .config exists, look inside it
If it doesn’t exist, make it as a folder
Then make a StardewValley folder inside it if you need
Then make an ErrorLogs folder inside that if you need
Probably pay attention to capitalization
Iirc Mac is case sensitive
Command shift . Is a toggle command so if you hit it more than once hidden files will turn on/off again
It’s . As in the period key
Your home directory typically has a bunch of hidden files, so you can tell it worked when they appear

Hi there. Does anyone know how to get out of a dialogue choice loop? Pretty much I click the choice and it keeps popping up. I had the issue before and I remember it being an easy fix, but I don't remember what it was

Mainly though from my limited NPC Adventures dialogue experience this is telling you there's no path after that dialogue
so there's probably a screwed up fork somewhere
There's a few, the one in question is the Sam 2 heart event where he asks you for what music you like
