high key dont recommended using art as a reference for anatomy
cause artists are people too and learning from artists is just gonna lead to you learning whatever mistakes they may have made
your best bet is to look at actual photos of actual people and break that down in to the shapes you see
once you nail it then you can get to translating that information into your style

I'm not in disagreement with the intention of Nae's comment here, but contrary to what's being said I do think it's a valid process to look at cartoons/simple styles or other people's art to reference your own. Stylized art is art that has simplified the shapes, proportions, and colors of what we see in the natural world. Referencing a style can help your brain translate complex shapes into something a bit more manageable.

It's what you do with that information from there that matters. Instead of copying a style learn from it. What is that artist interpreting? How do those shapes create the form they're trying to understand? How do the shapes flow with the overall composition?

There's no "right" way to learn how to draw just like there's no right way to learn anything. To Nae's point though, it's important to look at the original source: life.

you learn more about how to exaggerate

even then you can't exactly help it cause your artstle will evolve with the other artists you interact with

But if art is something you want to do seriously, then yeah, I would say it's important to understand how things work in the natural world.

I'm a style chameleon myself, which presents its own set of challenges. Imo I can't draw the same thing twice, so I'd be a shit animator.

Hi everyone big fan of the game and normally very busy in making and using mods. That being said though I don't know if I'm in the right chat for this or not but.

Has anyone planted up their entire farm with crops and what not and allowed them to grow out. Then from a distance take a screen shot that shows a picture or message written in the crops using the colors of the harvestable plant?

Just wondering because I thought it would be fun to pause the game clock. plant a bunch of stuff then maintain the field until everything thing was ready. I think it would make for some interesting screen shots.

this is a personal preference, but dont make the highlights stark white, or just a lighter color of the skin, it works better if the light isnt monotone like you wouldnt shade with black, you dont highlight with white

it also helps if you shade the eyes like the rest of the body because the eyes look out of place

You can make comics/manga/webtoons using Clip Studio Paint

If you want to learn about the overall composition and flow, there are plenty of good tutorials online

Planning beforehand is v important; I would say you would still want to aim for quality work but it doesn't necessarily have to be super professional unless you are selling it

layers are your best friends and it helps to name them if you think you're going to have a lot of layers to work with. Depending on your program (I use Adobe Photoshop) you might be able to group layers. But get the hang of using layers before you start venturing there
