Other stuff like making your commission sheet/site and setting your prices, there are discord servers you can join that can help you with that, or you can ask nae or other people on here too! I'm sure you will find the help you need

then you set up your prices. make sure youre atleast making minimum wake at least

as a minor
what i did was get my mom to set up my paypal for me with her info

worst thing you can do is use fake info to set up a paypal
cause they will shut you down and keep whatever funds you had in your wallet

after that familiarize your self with paypal invoices
its the safest way to get paid for your services since you can attach your terms to it and its basically a digital receipt that shows how much and what the client paid for along with when they paid [includes stuff like discounts and tips]

then you just pray and advertise til you get come clients

and then like some other people said work on your shading, you haven't got a clear light direction in that image and the brown shading looks a bit more like streaks of dye at the minute. Try making those dark areas thinner and adding a bridging colour that's inbetween the brown and the red

Honestly, you’re probably gonna struggle to make a steering wheel look detailed when sideways. The only thing I’d say is that it doesn’t have the darkened outline like vanilla so it won’t quite match the surroundings. If you really want a wheel then I’d recommend making it front facing

I don’t paint landscapes}} but make sure you don’t get too focused on individual leaves. I recommend stepping back and squinting slightly to see where the light and dark is most prominent. Work on getting your base tone and shadows down first. If you’re using oils then do an under painting to map out the shapes. The furthest trees should be the smallest

tip: focus on the light coloured sky bleeding through the gaps in the leaves

positive and negative space are equally important but in this case, the brighter colours of the sky will draw more attention so no need to go too detailed on the individual leaves

I would paint a gentle sky gradiant first then paint from back to front which is the general bob Ross style. Lighter and less detailed far away, do some twiggy branches up then cover in foliage. I’ll tell you what I think the game is about to see if your message is clear. It’s your standard survival game but there are pillar things that summon monsters. If you die then you have to restart?? You haven’t really shown an objective other than killing monsters (unless there aren’t any others) I liked the way you timed the music and cuts but personally I felt like the music type didn’t quite fit. It was a little too rave like? I think I get what you were aiming for though. For your first I think it’s a good job, it just needs some refinement :}}

Well, when I was making the first half of the trailer the only objective was to kill mobs. Mid-way an update came with the ending which is to fix a ship and fight a final boss. "If you die then you have to restart" Its a roguelike game where as you said, if you die you have to restart. pillars are extra ways to fight mobs as seen from me fighting the mobs that spawned "randomly" when night time fell. Music, Which part did you not like? There is a soundtrack that plays when I fight the mobs from the pillar the first time. And then there is the other soundtrack.

I think I'd rather get rid of the second half of the trailer. Then replace that with a couple seconds of fighting, a couple seconds of mining, some of them fighting some of the bosses, and then some more time repairing the ship to leave the island. And then just have the final "credits" come in with the final boss's roar in the background. Will make for an exciting end

With no chronological order. Since I, in the second half, was chopping the wood, mining some iron, making a sword. It was all in a progression order

Yeah, they kind of are. I'm not sure if that's because of the fact that they're all very small pixel art scaled up in this particular image, or if it's because I draw some of the assets larger and then shrink them down. Probably a little of both.

Ok. Well I'll be honest, as far as the shrinking goes, it's somewhat on purpose. I like how it sort of smooths out the edges in an otherwise very pixely image.

thers no colour mixing or anything on it

its just a default square brush with pressure opacity

Soo I've worked on my "trailer" a bit more and its shorter and way better now. The videos are amazing (at least to me) but the transitions are not good at all. The ending is also kind of very bad... I've tried to fix it as much as I could've but nothing has worked.|
