I prefer Maya, but sometimes Blender is all you've got. I've worked in both but...ughhhghhghh...I feel like if I don't keep up with it I lose my technique.

I've used both to build scenes/architecture for comics so I can just trace over it if I'm doing something complicated.

it looks really good!! the pose is dynamic and doesnt feel too stiff. heres some advice to possibly help with breaking down the proportions: look at a where the limbs are in reference to other parts of the body, the elbow usually comes down to about the natural waistline. try to study the pose youre referencing and compare it to the drawing, and point out what could be improved. its helpful for me to look at how other artists break down poses and human proportions.

It's one of the closest things to PS, its brushes are pretty nice, and only pales in comparison to CSP in its performance and UI

But then CSP's also got the Clip Studio and it's much easier to grab materials there so, overall I would still choose CSP but Krita really isn't bad at all!

I would even say it's the best free program, and it's open source as well
