i am trying to force myself to do some drawing. here is a pie, i am trying to learn how to paint on my ipad but itās hard to un-learn how i usually use tools on my computer, none of the tools feel right yet at all!! but i liked how it turned out today
i am kind of upset that i canāt just use my computer drawing programs as much but it would require sitting at a desk which i hate doing nowadays... i just want to be on the couch or outside
learning new programs is frustrating, it will probably be a year before i learn how to make a brush that works the same as my sai and photoshop ones, iām sure someone knows how i feel

i have seen that there is Astropad coming for windows computers, itās in public beta, but itās still very clunky and lags a lot. so when i tried to use ps with it, it was unusable
when they figure out how to make it so that my pencil registers better i will be pleased with that
sometimes it just doesnāt seem to care that you tapped and dragged the pen on the screen until youāve done it for 2 seconds. then it goes, āah youāre doing something ok uhhhhā

Dont be afraid to use reference or photostudy is what i learned from other artists. It's not copy or anything (just dont trace haha), it's just learning.
We can learn alot about shapes, lighting, colours,... from reference/photostudy! That's a really great way to learn

I heard those have something to do with that issue; personally I haven't had that problem occured to me but I researched around that online and someone said to block CSP on your firewall/antivirus etc. Also might help to update (or if that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall) any relevant drivers.

Hmm, on first glance there doesn't seem to be a problem with your hardware; for reference I run CSP EX on my laptop as well with the slight difference of CPU 2.4GHz iirc

If you have any antivirus programs you can navigate to the Exceptions tab/settings (or equivalent) and add the CSP .exe file.
I'm not too familiar with disabling firewalls so someone else will have help out on that.

Oh if all else fails, you can try messing with "File / Preferences / Tablet / Tablet Service to Use / Wintab or TabletPC" settings...
My experience with CSP came with a lot of trial and error so you just gotta try until it works, especially after you changed your tablet or CSP updated.

My csp doesn't register my mouse or TouchPad after a while if using the tablet. But that's been every art program for me. Iirc it's just to avoid stray marks. I can draw with my mouse if I've just entered the program. And maybe the freezing is due to the auto save feature. On my old pc auto save would freeze my program for a bit then it would come back to normal. You can change the frequency of it in the settings somewhere so it comes less often

from the angle you wouldnt see that line that deep or as defined unless the thumb was further in (more hovering on top of the palm forcibly)
