Since you were asking about what to do with the empty space, saving one of those spots for a formation with your obelisks whenever you build them is an option

Doesn't matter if you build them in a space too far from your farmhouse as long as you have a mini obelisk set up to warp there

you could build more fish ponds until the bottom of you're farm and then that big area below everything could be used for more crops

or you could build another coop and another barn and put them down there and expand you're crops to the left

if you want it to look better, I would make more sheds and not really place them in a straight line. Also, resin farms are nice and convenient, but they do not look very good. Adding trees can also be a game changer for how the farm looks

Hi! I've got a question about the planner website. It's not letting me place paths/grass on areas that I know I can (for example, the already grassy areas of the farm). I know I can disable "Toggle restriction check" but is it normal for that grassy area to be a restriction for paths anyway? The problem with turning off restriction check, is that then I might be designing paths someplace that I actually can't and that might throw things off.

i always disable the restriction check when planning paths, it doesn't seem to be accurate

it's useful for buildings, but paths are a LOT more permissive than that restriction check makes them seem

Its weird like that, but you can go use standard, then switch to whatever farm you want to use and the layout will be the same

i would recommend just turning the restriction check off temporarily instead of switching farm types! that way you can see where you're placing the paths, as they would be on the farm type you're planning to use

Starting up with the riverlands farm, I had one island with a theme each (for plants(maybe one for veggies one for fruit), for animals, for bees. Then later once I had junimo huts, I discovered its best to use the middle island for plants because you can place the huts most efficient there. I hope you can figure how you like your farm the best

Hey! So I’ve made my first plan for my farm. I’m currently in fall year 3 and finally decided to start making the farm look better. Earthy Recolour, Eemie's Dutch Buildings (edited them to work in 1.5), Fishponds and Greenhouse are from Naver and Trees are from Simple Foliage, Paths are from Gwen and the Fences are Flowery Fences I think?

I'd place Beehouses near your house or at a place you walk by everyday so you can gather the honey once it's ready.

I'd place Fishponds and Sheds near each other, because of the Fish regularly requesting items you probably have stored there.

But yeah, a Screenshot is more helpful and messy farms have their own charm to them (and no one is going to judge you for a messy Y1/Y2 Farm)

ooh, on PC you just go to the options menu and scroll alllllllll the way to the bottom

there should be a camera icon - click it to take a screenshot

then click "open destination folder" (near the camera icon button) to open the folder that the screenshot got saved to

if you're on pc you can just use automate and place your items where they'd look good in the first place.

tho automate isnt for everyone. does make farms look better if you dont want to give up much efficiency tho :P
