i don't know of any tutorials - i kinda just mucked around in the program until something worked 🤣 here's a tldr:

1. select the "AlwaysFront" objects layer (the one with pink shapes next to it, not the blue grid)
2. click the "Insert Rectangle" button in the top menu thing
3. drag out the shape/size that you want (you can change it later if you mess it up)
4. in the left side "Properties" panel, set its "Name" to whatever you want to show up in the label above the rectangle (e.g. "Barn")

I found that there really weren't any spaces on the map that was large enough for the Junino hut 17x17 3x3 iridium sprinkler placements, so I focused on making a bunch of baby garden farms spaced all over the map. Hopefully I'll decorate with a lot of trees to make it super forested and cute

I also put a lot of focus on coops and barns, cuz animals are my jam, especially with modded BFAV(?) Animals

I found that I didn't have enough space on a regular farm for enough barns and coops for all the random animals I downloaded, so that kickstarted this xD

Like both dragon mods I downloaded have 8-13 varients??I need them all ;-; that's two barns already

I didn't know what to do with the area by the farmhouse, so hopefully I can figure something out in the coming week when I actually start building all this

A word of advice, leave some trees where you want them to be in the final farm plan, I didn’t and I had to plant trees for an entire day-

But wait a while because it looks like you’re still getting early game things like the farm infrastructure in. Start planting trees when you’re ready to put in the aesthetics

If you plant them too early, you might think they’re regular trees to cut down

messed with the planner for a bit and made this forest design. looks like the fish ponds in that big empty space between those 2 southern ponds didn't load

nor did 2 of the warp totems but they're in the same place as the other 2 so it's okay
