Grandpa's Farm. It's an optional download from SVE. Which just includes the busstop there. It's a separate map but still part of the screen.

And since it's a modded map you can replace every basefarm with it. I think I did the forest map

It's more or less the final layout. The obelisks all get on that grassy patch where the water obelisks stands already and the goldclock gets to the porter. Just need to think what to do with the area around the pond.

yep yep. i've been using it since a while. it's the only map recolor i use bcs the dark dirt makes my eyes happy ^^ the only bug is the weird frog decal in sebastian's spouse room (my friend is married to seb), but i fixed it by simple erasing the decal asset from the png file

This question has a 1.5 spoiler. It's about crops on farm layouts.

||i'm assuming most people posting here are late-game due to such built farms haha. I notice alot of you planting crops on the starter farm, whereas i've opted for just planting on ginger island, so ihave alot of space on my starter farm (standard one). I wonder why people plant seasonal crops on their regular farm when unprocessed ancient fruit does better than any regular seasonal crop (ignoring starfruit and sweet gem berries, since ancient fruit has the benefit it doesnt need re-planting after each harvest.). Also wouldn't it be more cost effective to plant on ginger island? since it allows for all-season harvest, hence your ancient fruit,etc wouldn't wither during winter. Is it purely for aesthetic reasons people opt for having seasonal crops on their starter farm when they're more late-game? Is there a benefit i am not considering?||

well for me, and for many others too I would assume, it is mostly aesthetic. It is a farming game after all so putting lots of different crops on the area makes it look more like a Farm. The forest farm, (posted a few posts up) actually is still from before 1.5 update, because I haven't redecorated it yet and yes, I was planning to reduce the crop area a bit. Tbh I am not a huuuuge farn of planting tons of Ancient fruits, because they need so long to grow before they can be harvested, that Spring seems less fun because they take so long (so I prefer planting some different crops or else it feels like a second winter) When it comes to effectiveness, then yes, Ancient Fruit definitely better.
Another reason is, that || many also want to decorate the Ginger Island Farm, instead of going full crops, so I would assume, decoration over effectiveness. One thing I also do very often, is doing full crop layout for 1 or 2 years (maybe even more), accumulate it all and then have some weekly income from Kegs and Jars. Enough to reach 100%. ^^||

Summer 1 year 6. Not that aesthetic but it suits my needs, making work faster. I have a hard time being able to keep hay in the animal area. Tips on that would be appreciated lololol. ||I'm doing all of my planting in the greenhouse and ginger island, so idk what else to do with the free space uhkdm||

i'm considering planting trees with tappers around the slime hut, pathing it around with stone and stone fences, and moving the lightning rods to be around it.

trying placing lightning rods in the grass area when there is grass there, the animals won't be able to eat the bit of grass under the rods and it will leave points for the grass to grow back from

I chop up all my animals fences last day of winter and plant grass in the area and replace the fence on top. That pins all that grass down around animals area and looks better covering up yellow soil.

Thanks, barns are color coded to what's inside for animals and nice on the second stone owl. I use my two on the entrance to my farm near the bus stop.

I didn't use the planner myself for my OG save but it helps, mostly just tweak and tweak the farm every winter until it feels right for you.

4-corners is a mix several of the maps and easy to divide the areas up based on what you want to do with them, and the forest has a lot of space for sheds that doesn't take away from tillable area for crops

When you click to look through what else you can build there are little icons in a row. One is paint but I think building has to be upgraded

Decided to go ahead and do some decorating inside. Took some inspiration from others houses as well but didn't figure out the floor separation things, and not sure how to make the top right room look nicer.

I made 2 big areas of grass and switch between those two, that way grass can freely grow back Also put single fences or smth in the area, animals can't eat that grass and it helps growing back

This is my Fall year 4 100% perfection farm. I've done basically everything I could on this farm in terms of achievements and I do play on this save just to gather resources and get money, but as you can see, when it comes to design, it doesn't look the best. Do you have any suggestions for me to make this farm stand out?

I started on this layout when I first got the game ages ago, but after taking breaks from the game and losing interest around year 3, I picked the game back up recently and the 1.5 stuff really got me hooked again. Yeah, the elevation is awesome. The biggest issue I have with it is that it feels like you're either boxed into being efficient and filling everything with crops, thus limiting space for aesthetics, or going for straight up aesthetics/sheds/guest houses and not really going for crops at all. I feel like anytime I try to combine both on this farm, I just lack the space 🤷‍♀️
