you'd be best off laying the huts where you're not wasting as much space as possible

so in places where they'd overlap crops AND pathing, or be pushed against a wall

So I had a sleepless night thanks to a spider in my room, but I made a lot of progress! Just got the game on PC, have been playing on Switch for a few years but I never really got very far in terms of producing a variety of products/having a well-structured farm. I'm really happy with this so far!

It's not much, but it's honest work :p

Eventually I'd like the meadery to have its own dedicated space, with a shed to keep the kegs in and a seating area, but that'll come with time!

I do really hope that different types of honey affect mead production in a future update, it'd be nice to see!

Since it takes 2 seasons for the casks you can also just max fill the basement and then chop out the rows when finished. Doesn't take long.

If you play on mobile or PC, the Stardew Predictor page can tell you what mine floors are all-slime on what days. Floors ending in _1 are best because you can hit them over and over with little delay, but you can be almost as efficient with other floors if you use staircases.

how I organized it is as follows: around the workbench I have in the black chest woods, stone, clay, ores, batteries, cloth and refined quartz. blue is crabpot fish (except for crabs, lobsters, and snails) coral, urchins seaweed and green Algae. green chest is plant fiber, saps (oak, pine, maple and sap). purple is minerals. orange-brown is monster loot, bombs, and spill over minerals. the red and uncolored chest are for when I need to dump stuff from my backpack before making a run on any of the mines or heading to GI. the wooden chest by the mini shipping box is for roe and ancient fruit waiting for kegs

I never really sold slime eggs, because I don't know if that is profitable... but harvesting the slime is pretty good, because it is used as crafting material for Wild Bait and Cork Bobber ... though they produce way more than what is needed. I have half a chest full of slime

actually, slime hutch is the worst way to get money off of slimes!

capitalize on brandigans slime videos (look it up on youtube) and just make perfect white slimes in a fenced in, floored off, and airlocked area of the bath house outside cell!

you can stack thousands into one pen and they don't despawn!

same with sheds! (to the best of my knowledge, if you don't have a slime hutch built on farm, they won't leave the cell of the shed, because the 20 slime cap total for all indoor cells doesn't trigger_)
