here's a tip guys you can put end tables on tables and retrieving them makes them "naked" so you can do that if you want them clean in a row

You can even achieve this on mobile by stacking them repeatedly; the one on top unlocks its blank back, and continues to have it unlocked after you pick it up and put it back down somewhere else.

I like end tables for lining up foods next to a larger table.

Don't chop down that mushroom tree by the dock in the south. If you clear around it, it will spread more mushroom trees, which can be a fun look. But pave the 8 tiles around each mushroom tree so that any seeds thrown can grow and so that you can move between them.

The basic wood path can also work for a natural look, but in small "patches" like you would find pallets laid down on an actual farm; it's long stretches of it that start to look weird. Also a 2x2 square of it makes a cute flower shape.

Yeah sometimes I fence my slimes in with kegs/preserve jars/crystallariums. So long as there's enough bare floor to still spawn the slime balls it works like a slightly less space-efficient shed with dangerous pets in one corner.

I like to do my chores in a big circle, so have your kegs after your crops, cheese after cows, crab pots after bait machines etc

Seconding the circle, but I like to have mayo machines right inside the coop, cheese presses right inside the barn, keg sheds somewhere near the greenhouse, preserve jars lined up right next to the fish ponds, etc.

On the topic of fish ponds, are the fish that have a chance to give rare items like iridium ore worth investing in or should I just go for the fish with the most expensive roe?

Depends on the value of those items to you. If you find Skull Cavern really hard an additional source of iridium can be really nice. There are 1.5 fish that put out some of the harder-to-get 1.5 items, and so on.

For pure profit, even the best fish (lava eel) makes less money than a single pig.

Lava eel also gives spicy eel sometimes so that’s handy!

Probably. I don't really do much during the winter season. I'm pretty stocked up on stone & ore, plus I also got the last week or so of Autumn to work with when I get my last harvest of crops.

And I've got Summer & Autumn to do minor adjustments like moving buildings around.

I don't really plan things out lol I just kinda go "Hey what if I did this" and then I do it and if I hate it well that sucks i'm stuck with that for an entire year lmao.
