damn what layout is that
Modded @thorn quartz
oh ok thnx
Ah sorry! Deluxe barn and coop in the middle, big coop to bottom (leaving that size for aesthetic), shed below the house, 2 silos and a mill
More crops
It's called "Quiet Basin" and it replaces the forest farm π€
Elsha you don't have any crops >_[]
Yeah I noticed that too
They're in my greenhouse D:
Modded
How big
But still crops are good for beauty, and fill space, aswell as 250k is- oh modded... ive seen some hugeeeeee greenhouses
Oh not that big
Oh that looks OK and balanced
I would still do crops
Just do it outside
Crops look nice aswell as are good for space, plus more money
Since you have two deluxe coops add more grass
For aesthetic
Also save your hay to winter
Also grass gives extra happiness to animals
Okie! I can think of a nice design for crops outside
i play on mobile so i cant add mods
π
Ios or Android?
On android you can
Oh I'm sorry π
Heck ive made mods on mobile
I will have to plant more grass in the winter because they always gobble it up immediately :c
Plant grass in winter?
It disappears in winter
You can plant it but the next day itll go away
Winter grass mod fixes that right?
Oh...
Yeah
I really like that greenhouse mod, it doesn't even seem like that changes much besides looks
Bc trees are already plantable in there
Vv nice aesthetic
you should play anchent fruit
Slowly working on that :c
@queen scarab You leveled up to Cowpoke. You can now speak in our voice channels!
O:
cool
Eventually greenhouse will be all ancient fruit
nice
I kinda like the fact that Elsha's design doesn't have crops actually
Makes it very unique!
The only crops I could see here are flowers maybe? To add to this garden vibe
that's....a gud idea i do have that giant flowers mod
can put some pumpkins over there since it's autumn
i am gonna try for mushroom trees too
π
looking good
Beautiful!!
suggestions? Iβm planning to make this shed my main chest room, still wip
idk what to put in the back
more natural things since u left it grassy? like wood and trees and grass lol or w/e looks good in your opinion
here's to hoping i get a giant flower/pumpkin lol
i also have that greenhouse! i'm basic and have filled it up with ancient fruit seeds
i love how ours still looks different :)
some detail on the obelisks, i added fences and some seasonal plants around it

more detail on the first cabin area, added some craftable plants on the bottom and changed the flooring from last season
thank hakuna!

Wonderful rainy

@gloomy pine hay that looks so cool
planner doesnt work >:(
is it downa?
do i have to wait for the flowers to go giant or do they go when the finish growing?
wait why did my screenshot go like that? oO
riiiiiip
Also since they work like other giant crops... might just wait o:
alrighty will leave them then
also do i have enough trees for a mushroom tree? lmao
I think so gkjrge
i hope so imma be salty af
@gloomy pine what mod do you use for the visuals. That change the looks
Pls tag or dm me c:
Here's a guide on how to capture a screenshot of your entire farm and on getting started with the planner:
https://forums.stardewvalley.net/index.php?threads/152/
@broken folio can i see your farm?
your best one/longest
man i miss these farm designs were viable on console rofl
Wut
taking a small break from SV, will post my farm WIP in a couple days :)
There's much more to add but do you like it so far?
Give me some criticism!
I cropped off the bottom bit since there's literally nothing of interest there. Also it's extremely irritating how I can't move that left fishing pond up a tile, so just pretend that it's nicely in line and symmetric.
Add more sheds
yeah that's what I was thinking
in the lower left island
hmm
chests, item-creating stuff (mayo machines, etc)
or u could make a fancy extra house
yeaa
Elias...
more
might completely get rid of that cabin on bottom right island too, looks kinda ugly and have no friends to play with LOL
yeah
Place kegs off your farm iyw
Once upon a timw cake was like: oh no ill pass out if i keg everythint in a day,i cant get more kegs
then cake used more days
how do i take a complete sc of my farm?:(
!farmshare
Here's a guide on how to capture a screenshot of your entire farm and on getting started with the planner:
https://forums.stardewvalley.net/index.php?threads/152/
if you're on PC scroll down in the options and click screenshot button
uhhhhh, thank you! π
Cake I love how often you credit yourself for that, like your proudest achievement
tbh that's a good thing I suppose
Melun-kun youe embarrassing me >:(
I'm just proud
IM YOUR SENPAI I SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOU... which i am but hsjshsjshshs
well technically...nvm
me having 2 cabins on my farm but same
tried my hand at a custom farm map! now that i'm at the decorating stage it's been really fun
looking forward to fall
It looks great so far!
tyyy
what was that map again?
woah that map looks amazing!
so are you using mods to make these maps?
I just wanted to share the house I made because I think it turned out to be really charming ^^
wait... you can get rid of the kids furniture?
I think its a mod
It's a mod
okay, i was confused
It's called Customize Child Bed
yeah, it's this one ^^ https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5540
You have a really nice farmhouse Poltergeister!
thank you! I spend a lot of in game days to make it look nice π
looks cute, use any mods?
oh i see- you did-
but did you use mods for the folding wall in the main bedroom
this is adorable! u did such a good job
yes, it's this one. this mod author has many vanilla friendly furniture mods https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4809
cool
thank you, rainy!
it's a custom map i made myself, still a wip tbh haha
feels a bit cramped
but then again i'm too lazy to adjust the dimensions so maybe i'll just deal
woah i really like the waterfalls
i want it :c
i'll be happy to share it on nexus once i get it into a state i'm satisfied with
I feel removing the kids heβs has to be a 1.5 addition. Itβs so much wasted space
orrr it;s a mod
I know with 1.15 we can move our bed, so i would assume we will be able to at least move the kids beds
pretty sure removing the cribs was confirmed
I am glad for that
Hi
hail hydra
slime water pots as an item so I can farm slime balls anywhere when?
there;s actually a more effiecnt way
if you simply mass breed the slimes off farm where they dont despawn, you can rake in a lot more
or if you use a bunch of slimejack ponds
I was refering to the balls they spawn by consuming water in the slime hutch but yeah slimes
still no giant flower or mushroom tree :c
Yeah, it's still rare, I know
ring mod?
Giant crop ring mod
im so dumb it's actually rings idk what i thought it was lmfao
yup, literally a ring
that slightly increases your change of getting a giant crop
lmao i was visualising like a mod with a rare event where giant crops grow in large circles lol π₯΄
lol
I havenβt made a new SDV save in a while, but is that a new map or a modded map?
modded, it's called quiet basin ^-^
saaaaaaaaame lmao (i hope it doesn't ping, i think i turned it off sorry if i did)
I'mma save this and then reload with that mod and see what happens lmao
Hopefully it helps!
i set it all to 100% and it didn't work :c
Maybe the mod doesn't work anymore? o:
Oh
It doesn't work with modded giant crops. Explains a lot c':
oh no ;3;
We'll just have to painfully wait,,,
Question
Is there a reason for you wanting the mushroom tree? Expect why not? If not why care if you dont get it yet, youll get it eventually
cause i have an obsession with mushrooms :c
i really want it for my design :c
going for a faerie forest theme
Desire sensor...
huh?
I don't think it'll mater that much
Your desgin looks great without it
Plus it could become a random tree complelty in the way of yoyr desgin, all im saying is that youll get it eventually if you wait but there no reason to care if you don't get one
I have my trees clustered where i want it to spawn but i'd be fine with it being anywhere tbh
:c
Okay but still why care if you dont get one right now?
Because they care?
Sometimes you have some little obsessions like that, for the aesthetic, and it's valid
I have some too, for example I like it when things are sorted by colors
I've never had one
ooh first mushroom tree too? Yeah that's even more exciting then
I know right!!!
I was so focused on other things y1 that I forgot to plant trees :c
O have the memory of a goldfish...
I*
M o o d
idk what I did but I had three mushroom trees spawn overnight ._.
now that it seems very rare Iβm not sure if I want to chop any down hmm
They are rare, so it's a sort of trophy
Also you can get mushrooms with them if you tap them
Oooor you can start farming them and hope for more, and chop them to try and get the mushroom hat
@crimson sequoia c:
Oooh right, the mushroom hat! π
I'm uncomfortably annoyed seeing how good everyone's farms look compared to mine XD
Thatβs why I usually use Procreate and a screenshot of my farm layout to plan out my farm carefully lol
Oh
i just need money fast
OK
Hold on
What i see is that you dont currently have any kegs. You probably have some ancient fruit in your greenhouse to make ancient fruit wine
yep
use the fruits in the kegs to make wine. It makes your stuff a whole lot more valuable
And quick note. farming SC is a good way of making money
i have 450 star furit being turned into wine
Going in there with max luck some prep and you should be able to get some iridium ore. If you have the blacksmith perk from the mining perks, your metal bars are 50% more valuable. I usually sell all my iridium bars because with the perk they sell for 1500 g each
If you really get good at the mines, getting 100-300 iridium ore a day is not that hard
And a bonus you get all the other goodies from the mines as you go
i dont do i lot of mining but i should
ok
After so many days waiting for the dandelion to grow, I can finally say it:
I FINISHED MY SIMP SHED!! o/
IT LOOKS AMAZING!
I love it!!!!!!
Yasss! Mushroom tree! Now it's time to clear off around it and let that grow into an enchanted pond
Hell yeah!
Prettty!!!
Yeah! I gotta say, leaving a nice patch of unattended pine trees has always worked for me
Do more mushroom trees grow if you leave the grass?
oh
Mine seems to be spreading very very slowly
Once a normal tree turned into mushroom, it will drop seeds around, like the rest of the regular trees
I cleared some grass in hopes it'll help them drop seeds
They look super pretty. Vanilla ones too, and this mod is amazing as well
Less whimsical/ enchanting without mods ofc
yesss the mod makes it look so magical
Yeah, it's another feel, but vanilla is still wonderful
What do you think? Should I fence the fishing area off? Or just leave the half fence to the left (because it's next to the animal pens)
I think it'll look more complete with a full fence, right?
Of course, no decorations or plants are yet here, this is only year 1
Don't pay attention to how bare it looks lol
Ooo what mod is that for the cabin?
It's called Stone Building Mod
nice, nice. I think I'll try that out next
I love it, I've tried other buildings, but I always come back to it
Wouldn't a stone fence be gray on top of gray? I was thinking to stick with the wood fence to break that up
True, true
I will also replace some of the white flooring on the sides, there will be a tree on each side, oak or maple, to also cut back all the flooring going on
It's still very wip
hmmm what if you only fence off the animal area
so it wouldnβt look weird if you decide not to fence the ponds. I agree stone on stone might look washed out. But Iβm not great at designing farms so ._.
I do feel I wanna make it "an area"
Like, a distinctive area, where the ponds are, I also have the crab pots and I'm using that cabin for all things "fishy"
Omg I'm doubting so much on how to lay this out lol
I'm so jealous

You'll get your mushroom tree as well!
Hmmmm I think I'm pretty much done with the decoration itself? I'll need to get food and stuff now
This is absolutely lovely! I'd go for a tea or coffee there, for sure
Thank you!! ;u;
Well, they could be using their own mod Cake.. In this case Ari is not the author, but could be..
Also.. Hi Cake!
well, I haven't seen this mod yet cake. Have seen quite a few interior mods but thought he/she made it him/herself π
Aaaaand it has light now! You can come eat cake and drink tea even at night c:
Also yeah I could have made it, but I'm too lazy to do such good pixelart fkjehngje
I'd visit every day
I could do all the sprites for a mod
But im a lazy boi
Today on the menu: cookies, matcha cookies, blackberry cobbler, chocolate cake, maple bar, bread and bread rolls, and diverse sodas and hot beverages!
I need to find a name for this bakery now π€
OH
AND CHANGE THE FLOOR AND WALLS KGJEGE
I forgot
I knew something felt wrong
It does need a name!
This wall seems good!
Kinda like this floor
Hm nevermind it looks too weird with the brick flooring
Second floor is better, the other was a bit too dark
Okay I dig that! o:

Okay final look! I should try to get the weird statues and put one as the cashier gjhebghe
what mod are the tables and seats from? those look really nice to me
I know you didn't ask for my opinion but I feel like between the brick, the brick on the wall and the herringbone pattern on the floors it's a lot of patterns. Maybe go for a more plain pattern on the floor? There's that nice green carpet in that pack
i love the design otherwise! <3
I tried the green carpet and it felt weird,,
did it? :c
Tho I could try a wood floor with less patterns
ahhhh that's so nice!!
Ok, after a lot of struggle, most of the layout is done
At the top, marked with flooring will be a Hutch and a Shed. Rectangle next to the house is the Tractor
On the crop plots I planned on tea bushes to be put vertically where the marks for the sprinklers wouldn't reach, but I quite like it just like this
Tapped trees will eventually be moved from there
Animals, plenty of BFAV animals!
ooooh
I got a lot from bears and buffaloes, to squirrels and frogs... Should be fun
Just need two more drinks and I'm done with the bakery! It took less time than the simp shed for sure c':
thats so cute you have such nice ideas!!
Aaaah thank you!
arinyl thats so cute
it has such a warm cozy vibe
I'm glad you think so ;u;
INTERNAL SCREAMS OF JOY FOR SOMEONE USING THEIR OWN FARM MOD

I had a lot of doubts on how to lay the crop plots for a bit
Mostly on how to space them in order to use the right side
But then I'm definitely pleased with it
Winter will be dedicated to deciding the animal buildings
day 27 and still no mushroom tree, am I doing something wrong?
Do you have many fully grown untapped trees?
Yeah, you have a bunch. One of the trees will turn.
But is just a random event, unfortunatelly, there's no guarrantee
That it will happen every fall

the game does it like giant crops, pseudo-rng picks spots on the map to check for a tree to turn. idk how many spots per day or what the pattern is ofc.
Looks great! I personally prefer 2x2 path :)
Actually this looks amazing I love it
My only issue is the part With two deluxe coop
It kinda feel empty
Maybe when spring comes make it full of grass
here's my old farm on that map, you can see if it inspires u
as you can see, you're not the only one with a metric fuckton of pathing
that's pretty much floor
lol yep
I'd use less but then I'd walk off and on the path when walking around the farm
and as I use a mod that gives you speed when you're on a craftable path or floor, it feels weird when that happens
wow that's a beautiful farm!! β€οΈ
reminds me of my ACNL village with all the paths lol
What mod farm? (Sorry ping)
it's the quiet basin farm!
Ooh... Quiet Basin looks so cool! Itβs like a mix between Forest & Riverland
it's honestly so nice, but it's got a few quirks that the author needs to iron out
i love the map sm
Anybody have a design for half of a four corners farm?
my farm during fall season, year 5
made several changes, im trying to have a bit of everything in the farm except for slimes
this is before, although you cant really see the difference haha
my farmhouse and greenhouse interiors
looks great!!!
yeah gimme a sec! :D
she still isn't 100% done but the positions of things are permanent
might get rid of the fish ponds tho e-e
@drifting bobcat vibrant and pastoral recolor actually but probably too dark to see and it's constantly raining so i cant get a good screenshot
@queen scarab your farm looks very pretty too ππ i always wanted to try building mods but im too attached to vanillas
@drifting bobcat thanks! i been running around for a couple days making constant changes because i cant decide which way do i want things to go π
cant wait for spring
what are your favorite farm types to design?
for me hmm i've played in river farm, forest farm, and four corners but standard is easily my favourite since it's the largest one
The bakery now has a cashier c:
I really should get around to finishing that cafe visitor mod, this just reminded me of it
oh, yes π
If you make waiters and all with it, I'm the happiest person on earth kjgehge
I havenβt been working on it because of some other projects, but those are mostly finished now. So I can start on that hopefully.
No rush at all!
not too much but just rlly thicc paths
a path
fucking savage
Current look of the farm, summer Y3! I'm focusing on the sheds for now, but I'll probably do a bit of more decorating in the outside in the future!
since when is there a bathroom (sorry ping)
its a mod, 2nd house upgrade bathroom if im not mistaken
@plush moat oh dont worry its completely fine to ping me :>
ok cool
does anyone know any good forest farm ideas ππ
wait you can put paths on the grass areas :O
... yea
Woow incredible
Done by rainy
*not me
every farm here looks so great
Debatable
discord.gift/gottem
ooh pwetty
i like how u made the crop fields have a cool water system with quality and iridium sprinkler
It's a pattern I used a couple timesand it looks quite good
ye
Riverland doesn't have enough space enough to do a nice pattern like that
I love that layout
Finally finished designing my farm, laying down pathing is the real endgame
looking to start a new farm with other players
all multiplayer stuff is kept in #multiplayer-lfg-old
I adore this farm!!
Looks so pretty!
It's huge
So I just started a wilderness farm, after doing 2 standards and tips?
Start with placing pathing in a random way until the entire map is pathed out
Then correct and fine tune the path until you're happy
Finally start allocating spots to whatever you want
@flint cave
That's how I always do my maps :)
Sooooo pretty π
Aaah thank you!
@gloomy pine How do you have so many pets? Sooo cute
i just started and am on summer year 1, what sort of stage do people usually make their farms all pretty?
Most people need a few years
okie! good cause mines a mess rn
Ahah yeah don't worry you have time! I'm on Year3 for mine and it's not done really
Here's what it looked like at the start of my second year, for example
So I might be insane. 798 plots in a solo farm not counting rice and that ancient fruit patch
Left
I kinda like the left one better but that's because I usually focus on farming
The right one is gorgeous!
It's part of the Adopt n Skin mod ahah!
I have this mod too
I was like nah I will just get one more pet and then I have a zoo
m o o d
@gloomy pine LAST TIME I SWEAR/ but i need your visual mods
Didn't I already give you the mod list? π€
yeah slime i linked the list π©
SORRY
Damnit Slime
any cool farm pictures :>
in: farm designs has: image
-P-
Here's what I'm working on. I'm going to start working on the bottom right section now.
nic e fa rm
That's my plan. Flowers for bees next to the greenhouse but it didn't fit there after I lined it with trees.
I'm gonna do another fish pond, bee houses and maybe a couple sheds to decorate.
Almost like a small park.
pretty cute
Hi, my friend and me we made this farm. DO you thing is a good farm for a first time?
Looks good...
how to render?
!farmshare
Here's a guide on how to capture a screenshot of your entire farm and on getting started with the planner:
https://forums.stardewvalley.net/index.php?threads/152/
ty
no need to put pathing on all tiles
looks good tho
Too much stone for my tastes, maybe break it up some with decorative garden/grassy areas?
Oof yeah, let nature breathe,,,
Elsha, iirc you were asking for fertilizer mods couple days back?
Dino, I love the shape of your crops!
Very focal point
Hi, my friend and me we made this farm. DO you thing is a good farm for a first time?
As they said let nature breath iridum sprinklers are put in wrong place your are missing a lot of profit
But looks good
YES PLS
I just saw one in Nexus New mods page
Hold on
@queen scarab here you go!
omfg yer a damn SAINT

Help a farmer out. I have no clue what to put on the bottom half lol
I normally play the riverside farm and am not used to all the farming space on this map
maybe more sheds, silos, and warps once u get them?
you could also do more trees than just having them in the greenhouse
you can have a nice honey area, and pigs for truffles
the pigs will take up a good chunk of that space
and your top half looks really nice
in the lower left add a slime hutch and cover it w/ trees
also more sheds
I cannot pick between the 2 farms... any thouhts??
i like the second one
it would look so cute if the pallettes were swapped
first one!
the second one
I like the second one too
First one for me!
Second
first one
second
second it looks like it has more texture
looking for some SVE compatible visual mods, would love to give my game a new look. (Windows user)
I know about starblue

Which farms are these? Are they mods or original to the game? The left one is pretty!
Ok thanks! I thought they didnβt look familiar
anyone got any tips for a Fall 18 , Year 1 farm , on xbox too so i cant mod , looking for some nice designs cos i need it to look good now that ive got most my stuff sorterd
sorted*
so this is an old year 4 farm that i picked back up, im trying to decide what to put where, any suggestions?
i play without any mods
i already plan on putting another silo next to the current one, and the same with the shed
first ones for more general buildings and second one is for sectioned areas so id say second
@lusty elm maybe make a small orchard using fruit trees or try and do something with fish ponds
10/10, lots of help
there are fruit trees on the bottom left, and i was planning on putting some fish ponds above the silos
Oh lol didnt even see them
fish ponds are usually smart, and maybe a larger animal area, tree farms, grass farms, some people like doing honey a lot.
another thing is a cabin area in case you wanna have someone visit
itβs a good start but there is a lot more you can add!
i would start by adding a bunch of windows to let in the light
you can add more furniture, chests, kegs, plants etc to fill it up too
ooh and if you get teaset from evening star you can add that
furniture near the walls or at least top right ?
ahah I had a bookshelf too but it didn't fit
Wonderful!
thanks lol it was thanks to sosh's guidance
looks good! i love your furniture choices
!
awww tea shed!
really cool
sry this is late but.... YOUR FARM IS SO PRETTY KCKDMKDMXMDM
@wheat river omg thats so pretty it looks pink !!!!
love how the lights light up the farm in the evening π and the keg section is so cute!
Boop
This is a farm design I thought of, btw at the bottom there are fish ponds in the empty spaces, and towards the top there are coffe beans in the empty spaces next to the sprinkler. Im sharing this farm with someone, so I only used half the farm.
Also, is my barn space enough for 36 pigs? Idk i've never gotten my hands on so many animals. Usually go for anchient fruit.
It looks like it's enough
okay
More space preferably
I have around the same space for 2 barns and its ussualy gone within a season
needs more crops
@neat otter also I recommend moving those trees off the farm for more space
the place near the barn?
Then move the trees off the farm and use the space for crops
okay good idea
also you could move the lightning rods near the shipping bin area for more crop space
Also noticing tons of spaces within the fences
Also a tree ontop of the silo?
Id recommend fixing up the plan
okay will do
?
The holy scarecrow...
My dwarven army is preparing to kill your punney scarecrow
Empty spaces are fish ponds down at the bottom, and near the pond, at the beehive area I have brick flooring, and missing cofeee beans in a part of my farm.
Best design ever, maximum efficiency pro gamer 10000000000 a day farm nice
Better
Holy shet
how do you take a screenshot of your entire farm?
!farmshare
Here's a guide on how to capture a screenshot of your entire farm and on getting started with the planner:

YES I KNEW THIS COMMAND WOULD BE USEFUL
lol
Starcrow
YES I KNEW THIS COMMAND WOULD BE USEFUL
wdym this is the most useful commad
IK @/lily#1032 !
THAT'S WHY I SUGGESTED IT
I have been looking through so many storage designs of others farms and this is what I have so far any suggestions would be great
Some of these things really dont need there own area
Also no need to seprate crops from seeds
Or make a diffrent ares for fiber clay and hard wood
Or dor truffles wool milj and eggs
I can share my shed for storage @tall cargo
It's quite a bit less chest heavy, but still stores everything
Or fish and bait and rods and ocean foragbles
No need to hold onto trash Ethier
Fertilizer and sprinklers dont need to own area
Might aswell combine the ores and bombs and gens
Same with artistan goods
Yes, that's at least what I've done (plus I color coded as well)
But yeah
More space for decoration aswell as complelty functional
I can message the server to you if you want but I won't post it here don't wanna advertise

@tall cargo I put crafting components in a chest group that's near a workbench
So I can craft things on the fly
I will take this info and make a version 2.0
hmm maybe I'll make a storage room for things that don't need some kind of machine then a second for any that need artisan machines/preserves and such
I have no sorrting system kek
Yeah, I usually keep my processing separate
After 18 years i just figured where everything was
Man this fsrm has came along way
Anyone?
That was only 2019?
I wish I didn't put off the game
Farm hasent changed to much... lol
that just means the design works
What if... I completely changed my year 18 farm for the first time in 18 years
Haha JK
Im to attached
You can't do that
Why not
... not possible
You could make a copy of your save file in another folder
^
Make all the changes, and if you're not pleased, delete the modified file and restore the saved one
Also Hakuna matata
I kinda forgot about the farmypu desgined for me
Maybe ill finish it sometime but ive been feeling Stardew less and less
1.3k hours is burning me out
And sure that farm was around 400 hours but... shhj
Lea X Leah is yet to happen
Is that... who is that? Looos kinda like neer but I think I see a suit
Speaking of new farms I started one about a week ago and the first thing I dug up from some worms was a dino egg
like wtf
To bad dinosaur eggs are common now
Kannaaaa

God i love anime
I HAVE THE POWER OF GOD AND ANIME ON MY SIDE BUT GOD HAS FORSAKEN ME SO ITS LUCIFER AND ANIME ON MY SIDE
Yeah, still they are rare before you find Desert and SC
So like spring 11th
That's quite a lucky find
I found it day one of the new save
i have like 160+ ποΈ ποΈ
e-e
cake
lol
So I'm just beginner xD
@drifting bobcat who would have guessed
Sorry slime it wws destined to end like this
Amateurs try over 3K
g
Nice collection
Nice
Woah dude, that looks amazing
thanks
amazing
Is putting items on the side tables a mod? I can only put certain items on there
you can put any item
hm im not sure about mobile
its not a mod
Okie dokie
i-
I've had the game since it has come out.
Oh, idk how many hours I have on switch π€
Doesnβt work on mobile. Iβve tried on my iPad too but nope.
This is a farm design Im working on, near the greenhouse there are supposed to be fish ponds, but they never seem to render in): What should I add to the bottom, and along the sides?
also, in the farming area there are invisible deluxe scarecrows
and invisible shipping bins everywhere
along the sides maybe more fish ponds like on the left
oooh
yeah I do usually ahve cash problems in winter, fish ponds would be a good solution
if I can get some lava eels...
maybe like more open barns on the bottom
hmm
oki
I have a few near my house
oooh obelisks on the left
oh maybe
yea
also a golden clock, I mean 800 crops with kegs, that'll make some serious cash
oki I'll try a golden clock area, obelisks, and more fish ponds
I might also do a tree tapper zone
mmhmm
Hello
hello
are there Russians here?
probablyu
?
probably
Πk
Uh along the left side I have fish ponds, same near the greenhouse, I also have shipping bins all over, and in the center of my farming plus signs, I have some deluxe scarecrows. Anything I should do before getting ready to build this in game?
oh yeah also fish ponds by the flower golden clock area
thx
what year?
Probably gonna be ready to build in year 3
or 4 idk
rn Im in year two trying to make tons of money with a massive starfruit field, and around 250 kegs
also about to get some anchient fruit going more
It looks cool
what about the slime hutch corner?
What map?
oh thats four corners for sure
Ok
people usually use it for multiplayer like a lot
And u have?
ok
anyone know where the grass is on the stardew valley planner website?
i can only find the ugly grass weed on the planner website
Very nice
oo
very nice
its like that one red thing
Shhhhh

okay, the house blends in a little better in autumn
Everything looks cool but the house tho-
Fof
omg that is beautiful, and it looks super functional
oh i never said i wasn't gonna do it later. but you're free from SVE
@drifting bobcat
Ha slime quit
yeap
guys how should i divide up my land? (ratios or like how mcuh for each) using natue farn btw'
All crops
Place down one single parsnip per year and nothing else. That will be all you need.
No paths, no buildings
No trees
Everything is to be cleared except for the single parsnip

Weekly Terrific Farms (2018-2019) was a semi-regular showcase of server members' farm designs! You can find an index of all W.T.F. posts here:

oo
how do i take a pic of my farm
!farmshare
Here's a guide on how to capture a screenshot of your entire farm and on getting started with the planner:

here's the next farm i plan on making! i didnt have a plan for my first one (first on this computer at least) but this time i do, and im feeling good about it! chose riverfarm for a bit of a challenge :)
i know is not too much but do you guys like it?
ok i love that im v jealous
very nice
niiiiice
thanks!
Finally set up my greenhouse, hope you like it :)
Looks so good!
I just spammed trees and tea plants and it works
looks nice
gorgeous
Debating between two designs. The only real difference is at the bottom right, not sure if I should do two crystallarium sheds (MONEY), OR a lil junimo farm with some trellises. Opinions?
prob trellises cos if you can afford the obelisks why need money
yeah trellises
also how do u guys make such amazing farms
ping me with reasons
i love pings
You guys are right haha I guess I kind of forgot that I already had the expensive things so there's no point to making extra bank really. Thank you! Gonna go in and spruce up some of the paths now π
Has the farm rendering been acting up for anyone else? I've been tryna render the four corners layout and it keeps failing
Uh using fences, hiding ugly stuff lul, symmetry pog, basic colors, using a lot of paths, colorful stuff ya know the vibes.
yeah astetic is more important
going for river farm is SUCH a challenge, good luck with it!
Yeah idk why lol
there was space so... t r e e s
Because its easier to get carbon, mostly
tree farm i love that
i agree with junimo trellis too! adorable how they get their own lil space in the farm
;-;
that's a lot of shed :00 so organised i love it!! wonder how it looks during autumn and spring
That's how it'd look like in autumn
beautiful
New farm plan I just finished for my completionist farm a few days ago, and just realized I forgot the endgame items. Any suggestions for where should try and squeeze in the obelisks and clock? Pretty proud of it otherwise, I think it looks neat
wow that looks amazing
im impressed you did it in vanilla too most farms nowadays are modded
as for the clock.... and obelisks...
maybe here for the obelisks
and this for the clock?
Thank you!! I had a lot of fun making it! It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out, I had like 8 different variations I had to pick from
Yeah I like playing vanilla, I just like seeing what I can do without mods... tho sometimes mods are super tempting lol.
Oh that's a good idea! Okay imma bop into the planner and see what I can do, thanks!
Yeah I struggle a lot with making good-looking farms
...
thx..
I looked a lot at other farms for reference and borrowed some ideas, and then just kinda fiddled around with it all. I realized I was designing like there were rules, and just because something isn't necessarily the most practical doesn't mean it can't be fun since when you're super late in game you don't really need all efficiency focused stuff, so I started spreading out crops and mixing fences and paths.
I've got one plan that's just a jumble of different ideas to pluck from
ooh I really like that
the idea was mine k
yeah
its rlly cool
@lavish hawk sorry for ping but how long did it take you to make that
I just realized there are some immovable bushes that the plan doesn't account for, and honestly that's quite rude
Like two weeks, lol
I took it way too seriously, tryna make it perfect
two WEEKS?
hahaha yeah. Made each corner separately, I had around 3 variations each and wanted to use every idea I had so it was a lot of mixing and matching and then making the design coherent with the overall aesthetics
look I really like farm planning, lol
dang
it wasn't like all day every day, but definitely was at least an hour each day. I am super indecisive and had so many ideas
im super indecisive, impatient, and i dont ahve many ideas art-wise
I think it's a practiced thing, and yeah lots of patience. This is the first farm I ever actually planned, and even that was after looking at a ton of references and stuff. It's a lot simpler and some of it doesn't make a whole lotta sense
still a lot better than my plans
To be fair I got stardew after watching a lot of streamers play and design theirs, so I kinda had an idea already about what generally makes a good farm and what a lot of people do
my switch farm
my switch farm looks slightly different
now
super empty and uncreative
I like what you did with the beehives, and I never thought about sticking the slime hutch in the actual forest part. It looks really neat there
is incomplete for now..
I like the staggered fences with the paths, especially around the pond. I dig the natural feel of it
π
very nice and natural but maybe put the preserve jars in a shed
. π
Yeah, it'd save a lot of space if you did that. I'd recommend keeping a few outside and filling it at the same time as the ones in the shed, to indicate when the ones inside are done. Still though they could stay outside, I've started to adapt the mindset of aesthetics over strict efficiency because at a certain point you don't really need every inch to be productive and still can make a lot of money
well thought out hmm
I've run into a bit of a roadbump tryna fit the obelisks in the top right, because there are bushes in game that you can't get rid of that don't show up in the planner
I wanted an idea of how to make the fish pond, it is not natural and all flat ... it makes it a little difficult
yee
So it all depends on the type of farm you're going for, if you want more natural or more sectioned/linear. It also depends on if your farmer is gonna focus on animals, artisan, or crops more because while having at least a bit on your farm is best, the amount of each can really affect the overall look you're going for. Plan out first how many crops or how much space you want for your animals first, then work around that
While you wanna keep some efficiency in mind, ie not having your stable on the lower left part of your farm or else you'll never use it, focusing more on looks can make it more fun overall. When you get the greenhouse you're pretty much guaranteed money anyway.
I'd recommend making use of paths and fences, and not using just one or the other. Mix it up a bit, like a wooden fence pen for your animals and stone walls lining your crops. Putting paths between sprinkler groupings can look really good, and using a different path type beneath the sprinkler itself both makes it so it doesn't dislocate when hoeing and gives visual diversity. Fences don't need to be rectangular sections, stagger them a bit here and there and that can look good. Space some things out, have decorative fences, paths, or just grass between farm buildings and place trees strategically around them
I gots more if you want it, but I'll let you decide that so I'm not spamming lol
