Ok, so whatever you did to set that up, you just do the same the other way round, with her being the main player, on her switch, and you connecting to her... Then you could play individually or together whenever... You would still have two saves, but I don't think there's any getting around that on the switch.

It should be available as far as I know. I know there were issues getting SMAPI to install on Fire devices, so it may be that they no longer support the game. I would reach out to Amazon and see if they plan to support it, especially if you previously purchased it through them

He can send you the save, yeah. He can find it by following the instructions here: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves#Find_your_save_files. His character will still be the main player though, so it will take a bit of save editing to make yourself the main player instead if you didn't want to play his farmer. (Or I guess you could technically start the game twice and join yourself and still run around as farmhand ๐Ÿ˜„ )

So I was at the beach fishing near the Fish Shop, and after being halfway into my day I accidently had my cursor above me. So my fishing pole went towards the Fish shop instead of being casted into the water, but instead of letting me be able to recast the fishing pole I was left being soft-locked. Until I reached the end of the day and put to sleep by the game.

That looks like an issue with your internet connection more than anything else. Stardew still supports iOS 10 and up, and I believe that's the same as when it launched

I think it just picks a default response. If you have SMAPI installed, it's simple to replay the event, and if not I guess you could edit the flag in the save file to change it if you needed to.

@meager seal SMAPI should have also installed a mod called Console Commands, which lets you type debug ebi 50 into the SMAPI console (the thing that's always running behind the game) while not already in Leah's house!

Recently I tried covering an outside area with Straw Flooring, but it appeared as a Wooden Path so I removed it with the Pick. Now I cannot place the the Straw Flooring anywhere. What's the maximum resolution that SDV supports, either in full-screen or windowed mode?

I have a desktop resolution of 3600 x 1920 (that's three times 1920x1200 in portrait orientation), and when zooming out in-game -- then portions of the game will not be drawn on the right-side of the screen... so it must be hitting some built-in limitation... Any less than 90% zoom, and this begins to occur.

You may be able to work that out yourself, to some extent at least, by just resizing the window and seeing where it starts to fail.

Hey, so I have this glitch that keeps happening to me where whenever I have the game open, and I click off of it or I hit the Window button to get out of it whenever I have it in fullscreen mode, my character starts using whatever they have in their hand non stop. Like for instance, if I have a pickaxe in my hand, it will keep using it automatically unless I switch to another hand. Is there a way to fix this?

Issue with XNA per the error in the SMAPI console, no logs generated. Reinstalled everything under the sun, removed MSI and Rivatuner, verified files, drivers checked, can't switch graphics devices....

Then it's very likely a connection issue. There's some new logging features you can try if you have SMAPI installed to see where/why it's dropping (aka whose connection is the problem), but otherwise there's not much you can try aside from checking into port forwarding :/ I know CA is aware of some issues and is investigating them as well

If you have SMAPI installed, there's some debug tracking stuff you can check, but otherwise there's not a whole lot we can do. If you are using invite codes, you can try LAN (with port forwarding as necessary)

I have 4 people in total on my multiplayer world, and whenever i play, it constantly kicks 2 of those players, (p2 and p3) sometimes at the same time, rarely it'll kick p4. There's nothing that necessary triggers this but they're also having lagging issues. Any idea how to fix this? --All on PC, through steam-- We have tried restarting the game and restarting PC's. I just verified my game cache and have recommended the same for the other players, any recommendations for if this doesn't help?

Hey, could I ask something? I nearly finished my whole Stardew Valley adventure! Completing almost all achievements in Steam for it, except for the 'craft everything' achievement. I need the recipe for the deluxe scarecrow, but even after collecting all 8 scarecrows, it doesn't show up (not even after a few days). You have to have them all placed at the same time overnight to get the recipe for the Deluxe. Are you sure the night market doesn't have it? It would be sold by the guy that sells seeds, not the decoration guy or travelling cart.

Sounds like you're not the only one with this problem. There's currently no way to get the rarecrow through legitimate means. You might have to use a save editor, a mod, or (if it still works) the item code trick

Hey Pandora, welcome to the server! First I do have to request you check rule 4 (#445729663885639680) and set a server nickname.

To answer your question, Standard or Four Corners are good options that give a lot of space for farming and laying out everything you want. If you're fine with not having the most space, I'd say any but Riverland are fine to start with. Forest is a personal favorite.

Also in the future this sort of question is best for #stardew-spoilers, this channel is just for technical support and game crashes, that sort of thing. You can check #445729591533764620 for an overview of each channel and a bunch of other useful info :)

for me its mostly just cosmetic stuff. it isn't anything to change game play. We did both order a house upgrade from Robin though

hey there! i did transfer my files from the old iPad over to the same folder the game created on the new one. now, iโ€˜m prompted the possibility to load my โ€žoldโ€œ game and asked if i wanted to continue where i had left off. unfortunately this only takes me back to the home screen of the game. ๐Ÿ˜ณ might my files be corrupted as the app is able to read them and show them as saved games, but still canโ€˜t load them?

Hello! My old monitor caught on actual fire, and thus I'm now using my old monitor thats a bit smaller. I've found that I can't change the resolution within Stardew because there is an invisible bar my mouse can't go past, and thus I was curious if it's possible to change the games resolution before starting it.

Hello, I recently downloaded the game and tried joining a co-op. Every time it allows me to go all the way to character creation, but it wont let me fill out the "Farm Name" yet everything else including the "Name" and "Favorite Thing" I can edit and change. I also have a new Recipe that I learned, and it's NOT on the list at all. Crispy Bass. Which, has its own page, but is not included in the list on the Cooking page. I think that is new, but only because the History on its' page only mentions 1.4. It doesn't say it was added in 1.4 though, it just says it can be used in ||tailoring|| now.

yes, the load button is there and it also shows the old game (files were copied into the folder on the ipad). but when i tap it it does not load the game, but only throws me back to the home screen woth the โ€žnewโ€œ and โ€žloadโ€œ buttons.

Hi! I'm having some trouble with my game and I can't quite understand what it is. I'm not sure if is a patch bug and some other people are having the same issue or if it is just me.

At first I thought my game was alright, until I downloaded SMAPI and it wouldn't load all my mods that have .dll files. I thought then that it was an issue with the SMAPI or my mods, but when I tried redownloading them a new error occured, it said that it couldn't load any of my mods. Then one of my friends told me to try using that Steam tool that verifies the integrity of the files of the game. Once I did that, one of the errors with SMAPI stopped happenning but the mods with .dll files where still not loading. So I gave up playing with mods and went vanilla. But once I did it, my game was apperently normal but I couldn't take a screenshot of it, it simply woundn't let me. Neither with my screenshot tool nor with the Steam hotkey. So I once again did that "verify the integrity of the game files" at Steam and the game was normal again. But now every time I close it and open it again, without mods, I have this issue and have to do that thing on Steam again. Is really annoying and I don't know if should be posting this here or somewhere else, but if someone knows what's happenning I would appreciate the help.

I had someone download smapi and a bunch of mods a while back for me. When I went back to play it later, i got an error messages saying i needed to update smapi. I tried but couldnt figure it out on my own so i deleted the smapi file and all of the mods along with it. You can grab SMAPI and CJB item spawner to get one back, and then remove the mods. You might be able to save edit one, but that'll be harder.
Third option is to just go get the golden scythe

Would anyone be able to help me understand the issue Iโ€™m having with a mod? I am using Trentโ€™s new animal mod There are no red warnings that pop up in my SMAPI and everything is up to date, but whenever I load into the game and check to make sure itโ€™s working.. I can see the animals just fine but not their products.. and I canโ€™t seem to figure out the problem. Me and my friend are trying to play a game of stardew valley multiplayer on steam. However, my friend keeps losing connection almost every day and sometimes multiple times in a single in-game day. We've tried looking for solutions online some of which consisted of using the invite code instead of a steam invite, as well as disabling firewall. To clarify further, it's not that he can't connect, it's that he loses connection like half way through the in-game day.

That happens sometimes with me and my friends through Steam, too. Which is craaaazy. I'm wondering if it's Steam based, because we usually play Minecraft for hours with 0 issues. ๐Ÿค”

i upgraded mono to 6.8 from 5.18 (debian official repos), and the game started instantly having long loading times between scene transitions (say from one location to another), sometimes so long that you'd normally think the game had crashed. the funny thing is that downgrading mono back to 5.18 didn't get rid of that problem. i did a purge of mono-complete package and reinstall, but that didn't help either. this is on a heavily modded game, but i didn't add any mods when the problem started. anyone have guesses as to what could be the cause of those long loading times, if it is related to the mono upgrade? this is on debian buster, gog version of the game

i can't of course be sure that the problem is related to the mono upgrade, but it did coincide with it nicely

Hey there, Iโ€™m new here. Iโ€™m trying to find out of if I could upgrade my save file on an ipad(ios) from 1.3 to 1.4. Is it possible?? Or should i start a new file TT

on 1.4 you should be able to open 1.3.x files

then it gets converted to 1.4.x file save
