Hmm. I don't see any hint in that log. Can you try it again with Hamachi, and post a screenshot of (a) the game when it shows the connection error, and (b) the Hamachi settings for the player who can't connect?

I'm having an issue with Content Patcher causing an eternal loading screen upon bootup of the game. It freezes and locks up my game and I can't even play. I have my SMAPI log: https://log.smapi.io/93RCbwQM

My friend is playing on Windows with the same mods and it works fine but I'm on Mac so I'm not sure if that's an issue. Content Patcher, Colorful Chests and GeodeInfoMenu are all locking up the game individually.

Hello, I'm having an issue with the SVE mod with Immersive Farm 2 Remastered. When trying to access new Content areas of the mod such as the Vineyard or Sophia's house the screen will freeze for a second every time you try to access that area and prevent you from entering that zone.

There are several mods either not installed or badly installed or need updating, yes. In particular the crash is that SVE's ALL pack is missing (reinstall SVE, there is a wiki for it with an install guide), and that ALL itself is in a subfolder of the extracted zip (the one with lots of numbers after) instead of directly in Mods.

(Because of all the mod issues it's hard to tell what will remain once it's cleaned up.)

Hi guys. My sister plays on pc
Shes young and doesnt wanna go thru all the hardships of farming
Instead, she uses the item spawner glitchshe found on YT to get gold and build whatever she wants
I recenty got a switch and she wants to play SDV in it
But shes windering why she cant do the glitch
I searched online and found out that it was patched out
So my question is

The last person I saw with this problem only got it while using Karmylla's maps, but it only happened after entering and then exiting the community center once. I was unable to reproduce with their same mod list, but if it happens again we can try to take a look at it in #making-mods-general .

Greetings! I have a persitsing issue with loading save files in this game. I've bought it recently, so it's definetly not an "older" file.
I'll try to describe it as best as I can:
OS: Windows 10
game bought and launched via Steam
Content-BuildID: 3611060
No mods

I can start a new game and play for as long as I want - works perfectly fine. If I try loading a save file the game freezes on loading screen. If I try clicking anywhere on the black screen it turns grey-ish and I get the message "no response" (original in german "Programm reagiert nicht"). My advanced save file (12 ingame days) doesn't load at all (for 45 minutes) but doesn't crash, so I don't get any ErrorLog. Younger saves for testing purpose (not even left the house) sometimes load after 1-2 minutes, sometimes not.

I have followed the Guilde "How to fix your game" in the Steam-Discussion Thread to no avail.

If you can help me figure it out, I'd be deeply grateful!

`You need a "hex editor" to do this. Easy to find a free one just google it.

Once you run the editor, load up the DLLs (d3d9.dll to be exact, in the game installation folder.), and search for "96 00 00 00 C8 00 00 00" without the quotes.
Then, replace the 96 and c8 with 01.
You should now have "01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00".
Don't touch anything else, just save your file.`

Back about the freezing issue when loading any save file. Mizzion has proven that those files are not corrupted, so the problem has to be either me or my PC.
I have a seperate Partition for games on my PC, that's also where steam is installed to keep everything nice and tidy and because it worked better back in the days with modded Skyrim.. That means Stardew Valley is in S:/Steam/Steamapps...etc
while the saves remain in C:/"User"/Appdata/Roaming etc
I'm not sure if that causes difficulties.. There is no barrier in means of permissions or anything, but still..

That shouldn't cause issues, I have my Steam library installed on a separate disk. You could try copying the entire game file onto your main disk and seeing if the issue still occurs though

Hey guys, I have this issue where my FPS drops from 60 to 50, and sometimes 45 in a huge lag spike. They last like half a second, but it's annoying and takes away from the smoothness of the game. Hey! The following thing happened. I was hosting a online game on which I played with my sister.

This was a few weeks ago. The last day we played I made a copy of my save and messed around on that copy. No after a few weeks I can host the old saves anymore. Neither the original file nor the copy.

Then I deleted both (which was dumb) and copied over the save from my sisters PC. But that doesn't work either. Whenever I press host the game restarts.

back about the freezing issue when loading save files. I just thought, shouldn't loading and saving files face the same problem on my pc? But the game does not freeze when saving when I go to sleep but freeze for a seemingly random amount of time when loading a file. Also, something about how Stardww Valley loads game data must be different than in other games or programs, since those load fine. I mean, the game can't be the problem, otherwise I wouldn't be the only one with, but whatever interferes with Loading Data in Stardew Valley on my PC is unique for this game and if I can figure out what it is, I might find the reason for the freezing issue on my Pc.

open the Event Viewer (through the Windows 10 start menu);
go to Custom Views > Administrative Events;
load a save in-game and wait until it finishes loading;
in the Event Viewer window, click Action > Refresh;

the only thing on my pc that doesn't come with windows naturally and is active (in the task manager) permanently is the cisco anyconnect VPN Client. Aside from Steam in which I run the game.

(I was able to load the save with 12 ingame days yesterday after 6 min of freezing, closed it because I was hoping for a crash log and sucessfully loaded it after 40 minutes again - both with music during freezes. I've played a few more days.Now if I try to load it it's quiet.)

The 'application hang' events might be from when you clicked the window and it showed 'not responding'. They probably won't have any relevant info, but just in case can you click the top one and post a screenshot of the info it shows?

load a save in-game and wait until it finishes loading;

So it took roughly one second to read the save file, 36 seconds to load location info, and another 17 seconds for the remaining save info. So it's not an issue with the disk access, the delay is happening after it's already loaded into memory.

A friend of mine can't get the game to start up at all. it won't even make error logs. he updated frameworks, directx, verified game cache, redownloaded steam, plugged in headphones, ran as admin and tried starting through the folder. We're fresh out of ideas on what to do or even try at this point. Anyone got pointers?

I’ve just completed the mayors shorts quest and when I picked them up they went in my inventory but were still on the floor so I picked them up again and now I have two pairs. I gave one back to Lewis and still have one pair. Is this a bug? I’m playing on Switch. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi,
I've beaten prairie king, so, in next day I got a letter from game's developer that said 'you won an arcade' it was a kind of a lucky winner of the draw' for having to beat the game. The latter said also that the machine will be at my house, but till now I've received nothing.

Does anyone know anything about that?

@hexed apex Suggested fixes:

Remove BJS Capsule Mod, which doesn't seem to be compatible with Linux/Mac (it uses Harmony in a non-crossplatform way).
Seasonal Leafeon seems to have an invalid manifest.json. If you changed it, try reinstalling the mod; otherwise I suggest reporting it to the mod author.
You have two copies of Bonster's Fruits and Veggies (in the [JA] Bonster's Fruit and Veg-3438-1-0-0-1549630856/Bonster Fruit & Veg and Bonster Fruit & Veg folders); you should delete one of them.
Make Love With Shane (and possibly Witch's Valley) look like an XNB mod, which replace your game files directly. If you link me to the mod pages, I might be able to suggest a modern alternative.
Not sure what's going on with Starblue Valley, but maybe try reinstalling it.
Longevity isn't natively compatible with Linux/Mac, you need to perform some tricks. I'm not sure how off-hand, but you can try asking in the Longevity Discord (there's a link in https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/articles/23).
