If I understands correctly, 10 heart friendships of the bachelors unlock after I marry someone, but there's a chance the spouse might get jealous when I gift them?

Also, at what point do the hearts lock of the bachelors? Does it behave like regular villagers and lock at 10?

And to that end, it's possible to witness all the heart events, including the bachelors without handling out bouquets right?

Alrighty, i am back on the discord with another error. A friend and I are playing the game on a mod map, Immersive Farm 2, we are running a bunch of other mods and we have a problem that existed two months ago when we last played. I can enter a barn while she is not online, but once she is online and exits her cabin, i cant enter the barn. Just hear the infinite barn entry sound until i lift my finger off my mouse. Anyone heard of this problem? I have what i think is the correct error.

The grass under the doghouse and the farm buildings are still vanilla for some reason...

hi guys! I am having an issue with the android version (v1.19) on my mother's tablet.

the game keeps crashing in two cases:

1. when the app is started and the title screen is displayed, the game asks if i want to continue where i previously left off. if i choose 'yes', the game tries to load, but shortly after it crashes.
2. every time shortly after "load" is clicked from the main menu. the screen with the save files is visible for like a second, and then the app crashes.

i have checked both the save game and the save game info file, and i think they look okay.
the tablet is a medion lifetab s10366 running android 5.1.1
any idea how to fix this?

Hey yall, im trying to use a controller with smapi and normally it would be fine as long as I ran it through steam. However, smapi opens a terminal and THEN the game window. So steam hooks into the terminal to apply controller support. So im asking, is there any easy way to run modded stardew without that terminal opening?

What is an easy way to get rid of an entity from a map? My GF on our farm together has two horses, because I made both of our stables, but that made a mod we had to be able to whistle her horse not work. I broke down the stable through Robin, but the horse remained, and is now just there on the farm, and we think that might be causing that same mod to not work, since nothing happens now when she presses V.

Hello all, I bought my friend a copy of Stardew Valley from GOG.com and gifted it to her and we were trying to set up Co-op last night. I was going to host. So I had her click join and the only option she had was for LAN connection. She's on Windows 10 and I have never used 10 so I can't really help her throguh it. We read that she needed to add an exception to her Windows firewall for SDV and she's not entirely computer savvey but I think she was following a guide. Anyway she couldn't see SDV in the list of apps in her firewall so I'm not sure where to go from here. What should we look for?

She needs to use the GOG Galaxy thing to run the game. I expect GOG also has a stand-alone installer, which won't work for multiplayer.

But I think there's a way to make Galaxy detect an already-installed stand alone version and use that.

@formal marsh Stardew Valley 1.3 for PS4/Xbox is in QA (internal testing). This is support by the community so we don't know how their QA is going, but we're expecting them to release within the next couple of months.

I don't think save sync between PS4 and other platforms will be supported though.

@finite delta There's currently a bug in the Switch version in which my female character is recognised by the game as male. Are you aware of this problem and would there maybe be a fix/function to correct this in the future?

I have no idea what caused it and my characters after the initial first one had the correct genders.

I'm really curious as to what causes it in the first place too.

hey guys quick question: i am trying to have an unofficial version of eemie's seasonal victorian house. i have CP installed. whenver i load it, it won't load the houses. it says "[Content Patcher] Multiple patches want to load Buildings\houses (Elle's Seasonal Buildings > Load Buildings/houses, Seasonal Victorian Buildings > Load Buildings/houses). None will be applied." any ideas?

Yep. You have two separate mods that replace buildings, and SMAPI doesn't know which one you want. You'll need to remove one of them.

That's a problem with Json Assets, probably because of the duplicate items which it doesn't handle well (search that log for duplicate object:). Try removing Fresh Meat (but keeping Fresh Meat - Animal Husbandry Patch).

hey everyone, i just tried to load stardew for the first time in about 6 months (all up to date on updates though) and it says running for about 2 seconds then flashes syncing for half a second and then just stops and wont load.. anyone know a fix for this? i've tried forum solutions but so far none have worked

To start with is an easy fix

When updating mods, it's best to remove and re-add the files

That way, you're sure to get the updated ones, but SMAPI does it all for you

Yep, we're just waiting on SDV 1.4 then SMAPI 3.0 will come out

Now if you update the mods, it says. You should be safe. We have most if not all of the open-source mods ready to update for 3.0, if we don't have access to them ourselfs, we have sent in PR's to the authors. That way they just have to update
