You can edit the StardewModdingAPI.metadata.json file and set "Status": "AssumeCompatible" for the mod (adding a new entry if needed). That will force SMAPI to try to load it, even if it detects incompatibilities. This is very much not recommend though; even if it loads (which it may not), you may get errors, crashes, save corruption, etc.
