Has anyone found all secret book locations to find? I've found a one to the right of the Blacksmith and one in the back Adventurer's Guild, wondering if there are any more you don't need to farm for, but instead just find in the wild

Not so much those as they are a fishing and quest token/item, more of ones you just need to find where they are. You can walk to the one east of the blacksmith and get it whenever as far as I can tell, and just when you unlock the adventurers guild, you get the one at the back of there

Neither is exactly true? You need upgraded tools for the trash book and you need to meet a high killcount requirement (well above and beyond that to enter the guild itself) for the mine map

The books' locations are fixed, but you cannot access them without meeting the requirements

I'm kinda bummed that you can't get more than one golden pumpkin anymore. How about getting the pumpkin AND a ticket ? Because the ticket by itself doesn't feel rewarding at all. :(

Heavily based on preference. I like foraging personally, since it means you'll be able to get the golden mystery crates while grinding out the other masteries.

But really any of them are justifiable depending on what you're doing

If you're killing a lot of monsters to grind out Protector of the Valley, then I'd recommend Combat so you can get trinkets, for instance

hardest thing to find for no reason in that entire room was the amphibian fossil

now you just need a bunch of garden pots, a couple of crop mods (if you're using mods, that is), and make an indoor 'crop repository' or something. collect one of every crop plant in the valley, wild seeds/forage included!

sorted by season, and then either alphabetically or by the crop's base sale price or something like that

23rd Spring Y3 - 3rd perfection achieved. Married Leah, went the Joja way. She never proposed to have children. I was not very far of getting it Y2, but I need to build more kegs and preserve jars way faster. I never found any luck ring. I skipped both the staff and most of the house upgrades. Except for the initial one to get the kitchen, I am wondering if any of them are needed. Maybe it's a good way to store kegs compared to a deluxe shed.

There are collections that aren't officially recognised by the game, but can be quite fun - clothes, weapons, paintings, having every variety of wine fully aged, etc.

If you like fishing, you can also try maximise your Biggest Catch for each species. Fish size is actually mostly dependent on how well you did in the fishing game, and getting the max size for some of them can be very challenging.

Dehydrators make your stuff become gold quality + a small bonus. If you put iridium quality in it, it's is not worth it. Dehydrator is good to empty big stacks (blackberries or many blueberries/cranberries). It's good for non iridium shrooms(since kegs and jars dont accept shrooms). In the end keg and jars are still better, but both are expensive in either coal or oak resin/metals. It's not that easy to have enough to match a decent crop production.

There is not a single good answer - it depends on your production/processing machine building production/space/time per day spent. I find having all processors is good. Proportion might and should vary.

Challenge Bait + double Cork Bobber is the big one, with increasing utility depending on just how good at fishing you are.

Also Challenge Bait lets you get multiple copies of legendaries if you hold off on them until post-mastery

Midnight carps in fall are quite easy to catch and expensive. With challenge bait, it's a slaughter.

Ginger island sea is good too. There are some fish that are not too hard and expensive as well.

Also fishing mastery allows you to use the Lewis' shorts. You can get them by using staircases in Lewis' room. If you use them on your fishing pole, it protects the secondary lure, making it have infinite durability.

I find using lava eel bait is easier and more reliable than using challenge bait. Void salmon baits are great too. The lure that increases quality + Lewis' shorts + targeted bait is good, even if it does not match catching legendary fish with challenge bait.

• Iridium quality is big (especially with sea shells)
• Better stacks management in both inventory and chests because you always use 1 spot per type instead of multiple depending on the quality
• Using seasonal seeds becomes way better since it remains foraging
• Allows for great gifts(iridium gifts gives +50% friendship compared to non quality gifts)
• Gives iridium truffles (!?) which are better raw than processed to make oil (1250 versus 1065)
