Mystic Seeds need to be crafted from 5× each of the four main tree seed types (oak, maple, pine, and mahogany-- the last one being the bottleneck most players run into). You can actually get started collecting seeds to craft, before picking Foraging Mastery. So you kinda lose out on less by picking Foraging later on the list

Winter's ironically a convenient time to farm tree seeds. Plant and fertilize a few rows of trees and let them spawn seeds around themselves. The seeds don't sprout in Winter so you can very easily go over with your hoe and dig them up to keep.

Especially mahogany and to an extent oak and maple

(there are approximately infinity plus one pines all over the hecking valley so I would feel safe leaving them out)

Hii so i'm coming back to this game after the 1.6 update (Too lazy to start a new save) I was wondering whatthis mastery thing is? Also would it be a bad idea to add SVE and Ridgeside if I'm past a year?
I know last time i tried doing that I got bombarded with cutscenes of npcs i didn't know at my house so I'm wondering if that has changed or not or if it would negatively impact my interactions with the npcs (Like will these npcs treat me as if we met before etc).

After we reach lv 10 of skills there will be next step to reach mastery. There is a cave in the cindersap forest.. How to increase mastery basically is same like skills, need some exp.. once you unlock it/done.. you’ll get new recipe to craft

and yes you can add it in the middle and npc will treat you normal as your level/hearts.. but I think would be fun if you start new one🤭

fishing food buff and tackle, I use a Dressed Spinner and a Cork Bobber, you can change it up if you want

and a reminder that the villagers running the stalls don't stay until 2AM, so you have to leave earlier

So until whatever update concerned, ape is trying to get the console version 2 comes out for Steam we will have absolutely zero idea when the updates are coming for console and mobile and when that version comes out for Steam based off concerned apes track record. I am expecting the console update to be about 3 weeks after that minimum

I'm not basing these claims off nothing, this is all pretty consistent with what I see and hear from most game developers, consoles are a little bit more challenging to develop for and Microsoft and Sony have about a 2-week certification build testing process that all games have to go through. The only difference that I see with stardew Valley versus other games is Eric for whatever reason, feels the need to only do one update for console whereas most other games will submit the updates as necessary instead of making their console players wait for months on end

Weapons can randomly spawn with "innate" enchants like this. Slime Slayer increases the damage this deals to slimes

Yes

There's a few rules about it though

You can use Dragon Teeth at the forge to roll new Innates, but only for weapons below a certain listed Level threshold (careful about other upgrades that increase weapon Level; you may lock yourself out of being able to roll Innates on it if it reaches 15+)
Galaxy/Infinity weapons are also simply disqualified from Innates
