Yeah. In short, you need to have a terrible fishing setup to catch a Joja Cola as a trash item, then give it to the Dryad to purify it into a stardrop, which summons a Junimo pet. The tooltip reads something along the lines of "A strange fruit from another world, the flavor is like a dream..."
The blue chicken egg is sold by the travelling merchant, with the tooltip "A regular blue chicken egg". Summons one of Shane's blue chickens, and the tooltip for the effect is "The nametag says 'Shane'"

so you know how you can turn a chest into a big chest by using a big chest on it? apparently you can turn it back to a normal size chest in the same manner, even if the chest's contents exceed the normal capacity

there are guaranteed chests on the 9th floor and the chance that they are rare chests (ones that can have the hot java ring) is much higher on that floor

chests can appear on earlier floors and can be rare but they don't appear as much

A lot of games have fps locked behavior, so getting the fps low enough, intentional or not, would result in unintended behavior
