Because the entry was funny, the mods recommended reposting it to the images and memes channel, where I posted the image's URL rather than reuploading the actual image file.
So when the contest entry post was deleted, the file was gone and thus it's just a dead link now. Other images from that era were preserved though.

Ok so like you get the scythe and chair as you would do the previous glitch of pushing yourself off the map with the scythe to start off and walk over to the spot in the 1st screenshot with the trees. you'll want to walk down around this spot and you would end up at part of the town map by the water, you'll come back up and then start walking to the left and up as you'll be able to walk on the water if done right and in the 2nd picture with the chair that's where you'll put it to get onto land

the dehydrator is basically a fast way to get money from low quality bulk items and particularly fruits (well berries)

so when you are trying to build up kegs, you nee dmoney for resources, to get that money, the dehydrator takes one day to process the 5 berries or whatever you give it, it's fast compared to kegs or preserve jars

so you get the money pretty quickly from selling the product and put that back into materials for more seeds and the kegs you are trying to build out

The 167 object layout is less-cursed than I expected when we replace all the reachable ones with kegs. But there aren't enough reachable tiles for kegs to comprise half the space (and thus allow an optimized pineapple shed to keg its own crop)

On my first playthrough, I was leaning towards picking Abigail but then, in the fall and winter, she just... kept coincidentally turning up everywhere I went (rather, she wanders the valley in those seasons and I was coincidentally going to the places she goes). It was starting to make me uneasy, and the breaking point was when I was at Robin's in the winter and Abigail walked in (presumably to hang out with Sebastian-- she does that on certain days year-round).
Thoroughly rattled, I changed gears and went with my next choice (Haley). She's nice enough that I don't regret it, at least. I think I'll pick her again for this save (already went with Leah and indeed Abigail on some playthroughs in between)

Winter's coming up, and that's a good time to reorganize the farm. Which means planning the new layout has to be done now, in late fall.
I might replace the western bee house grid with a picnic area (that side of the farm faces the ocean; the east and north sides of the farm face... less-scenic environments. Sheer cliffs and the hecking highway, respectively). Might also put a second picnic area around the southern pier, as that faces the forest (and is thus still scenic)

Scythe is better than rusty sword (the rusty sword is that shitty), and also you don't spend a lot of time on the farm late at night in the first few days

You can also just... walk past or through monsters

They're there but you don't have to deal with them.

They don't pound on the doors/windows or anything if you just go home

I'm not sure they even harm your animals

i spend less time there then on my farm. it also comes with tents now to help u get through the first gathering of walnuts. i would get walnuts, rush getting the farm there, then only go when you have time and maybe twice a week to gift duck feathers to leo
