It doesn't matter much. I picked foraging first because at the time I didn't have access to ginger island yet, and the mini-forge needs items from there. I was able to craft some seeds and use the syrup for treasure totems to complete my museum.

But if you pick the combat mastery first, you'll get trinkets which are kinda nice, I have a parrot one now that really helps with money making on mining days.

Im playing expanded, the green rain was happening, i didnt have my axe, i left the game, got item spawner so i can spawn my axe for the day then throw it and delete item spawner mod, and now the rain isnt green, tv isnt green, but the plants from green rain are present

Nope. Not every item works. Only the bolded items on the wiki page about dyeing (https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Dyeing#Dye_Pots) work for the quest. But copper ore/copper bar should work for orange.

Its just a setting thats confusing me, I put in for spring that Ill have 360 strawb crops, and will be selling them as wine where possible (only have like 60 kegs lol). theres an option that says "sell raw" which I had assumed meant like "If you don't have enough kegs, you sell raw what you can't keg" but it seemingly randomly changes all the other crop profits

Strawberry doesn't change, and clearly the setting doesn't do what I think it does

That’s actually an option if you’d like for money for perfection. Do dangerous mines to get wood, hardwood, and radioactive ore. Radioactive bars sell for 4.5k a pop with Blacksmith. A solid 50 bars a day is 225k.
