Sturgeon and lingcod offer quite a bit, but they're a bit challenging to catch. I've been fishing at the ocean as it's generally easier to catch fish, but the fish are less valuable. Mountain lake has sturgeon and lingocd. Can't say about rivers, though.

Let's see, cranberries are a 240 initial cost for seeds and then ~2.1 berries (2 berries plus a 10% chance for an extra) per 5 days after initial growth. Dehydrated with Artisan, that's an average of (75×1.5+5)×2.1×1.4÷5, or about 69 (nice) gold per day per tile.
Starfruit on Deluxe Speed Gro is an initial cost of 80 for the DSG (hopefully purchased on a day you were headed to the desert anyway), and then dehydrated with Artisan it's (((750×1.5+5)×1.4)-400)÷9), or 133 (!) gold per day per tile. It's still super worth it if you can afford the seeds (400 each is kind of a lot)

Yes, and with golden animal crackers, they produce twice the number of eggs. Coopmaster helps produce iridium quality more often. It's like 75% iridium, 15% gold, 10% silver, so about 2k on average
