Alright heres my Trout Derby experience, all with the bamboo pole
First day I fished from 8am til I passed out and the second day I fished from 8am til 1am
Out of the 73 fish I caught, only 23 of them were rainbow trout, and out of the 23 rainbow trout, only 10 of them gave me golden tags
my rewards were 3 mystery boxes, 3 omni geodes, a crab pot, a tent kit, 3 farm totems, a diamond, 2 triple shot espressos, a quality sprinkler, a bucket hat, and the mounted fish
Everything else (minus the scorpion carp and the berries) were found in treasure chests while fishing

Hey, for people that use UIInfoSuite2, I have a question

1.6 adds a book that allows you to see the prices of items normally in your hotbar. I've been toying with the idea of just removing the "view sell price" functionality in favor of people using that book. It's only 3k iirc.
Is the feature really that useful now that it's part of the base game?

The game already really tried to get people to fish, but I think this works better. At least it’s making me fish. You can work to make fishing less random, work to make it more profitable, etc. Gives it more of a progression track outside of EXP

I think it adds a diffrent perspective to the game, meant more so towards ranching and much less space for crops. The blue grass buff is really intersting and cool however, definately changes how you start off the early game but kinda hinders late game money makers like kegs and otherwise due to not having crops, if you like animals definately worth the play, also great if you want to try to do a semi challenging run.

Fishing you could always get to this, but more people in the mines means faster to get down ot the lower levels. Personal record for getting to the bottom of the mine just myself was i think day 9 so totally doable.
