You need to be able to understand what it's generating for you as well as actually go over its output and a lot of people don't. For work I did a project where I tried building a compiler for a c# like language on Java, and like was it faster than doing it all myself? Yes. Did it build something with lots of bugs? Yes. Did I have to fight it over stupid design decisions? Yes. And my favorite was when it kept trying to disable or refactor failing tests instead of fixing the problem the tests revealed.

(the change was to stop taking T suppressants - high E already does that, and I had had to raise my E to lower the T to begin with, since two T suppressants on max dose weren't enough previously. so I suspect my T had gotten too low with all of them)

I have skyrim mods to make it souls like. But then also have a lot of mods to make me just fall over on the spot and get back up because heavily modded skyrim just breaks if you actually die too many times

i will say though if you're just getting into a souls game don't use a wiki. i played with friends for dark souls and all the mystery and discovery was ruined by them chugging wiki pages

I played DS1 and got up to the first real town area where there was a boss at the top of some structure on a bridge, and if you die, its like 20min of work to slog through all the enemies again to get back just to die in 10 seconds

and I simply refuse to entertain the genre as a result
