I'd really love to play this game! I think it's such a great take on a game somewhat like Lethal Company but in VR. It looks so well executed! I suffer from bad acrophobia, though, and I can't play Lethal Company because of the room it sometimes places in buildings that is a beam you have to walk across and then jump a gap, and it seems like this game has the very same room (but over spikes). It'd be amazing to have the option to play while excluding that room type from being used. I won't be able to play otherwise!

It's not about whether you can survive or not, it's just about whether or not you can fall. I can't help what I have a phobia for, I'd certainly love playing games with platforming if I could. It'd just be nice to have the option to play without those parts in the mix instead of having to create mods to do it, which I don't have a lot of time for

The game has verticality, so you probably won’t be able to play.

I have something that could help. There is an item called helium balloons. You get two for free in the lobby. They give you low gravity and let you fall much slower and also basically float. But the main thing is that they let you jump pretty high and float far. So you can basically completely skip pit jumps or glass bridges. I can grab a video of it later if you wanna actually see it?

Are there rooms in the game that require you to do a lot of platforming, like, jumping from small platform to small platform? The balloon thing you're describing would definitely help, but if there's a lot of platforming rooms, while it would make them easier to do, it'd still probably give me quite a bit of anxiety. Seems like it would make the spike pit portion very easy, though.

It does make me curious to try, though, given that you start with an item like that and can get more easily.

From as far as I could see, there are only really 3 main rooms that do this

The glass bridges, the short little jump, and the longer version

But there are later levels where you have to avoid breaking ice or fall into the lava below

Not really, the map ruins has a lava pit with pillars you have to climb up (which you can use the balloon to skip) and just general elevation but it has ramps and other stuff. There is also a spleef like room that could be a problem but those on are only on certain maps that you have to buy. And there is also a platform in the middle of the spleef area underneath the breaking platforms that you can stand on.

When I’m free I can take a video of the balloon in action if you wanna see that!

I want you to be able to play this game without the game bothering your phobia so I hope the ballon could help!

Oh also the map cliffs has a big ledge you can jump down but there is an elevator you can use to slowly make your way down. But I’d just recommend to stay away from the map entirely since it’s all about heights and stuff.

But there are paths and stuff you can take down.
