If I pick Ultimate Gohan in ranked, I more often than not have my team using some Gohan emotes; then spam sad Uub. The 2 dps fight over bottom lane and no one wants to come up top. Ive had tanks feel bad and go top at times cause the dps just refuse to do so. I have even had team members afk a match just for choosing to play Ultimate Gohan. I dont claim to be skilled with him but when you have teammates that see simply just choosing to play him as a throw, this often; the character is really bad. Its best just to not play him in ranked it seems, which is sad because before he was reworked this was never the case.

The problem Is how hard he Is right now, I think he Is more interesting now, but they nerfed him so badly

He is not bad by any means but i will say its not easy to win with him if your farming and target priority is not on lock. You can't control other people from throwing but you should be able to use who you want.

Its cause of his low hp its hard to do what you need to do in team fights cause you get grazed you are dead. Thats why farming is very important to him

Since they changed the farm I never became that Monster level 13 when the others are 10 or 9

I have to learn again how to play, I didn't played that much the game since season 2

Ok so I've got the hang of his playstyle a little bit but what do you build on this man?

I've been going too easy, prepare to die/steel skin, and defense step/limit breaking jump

I personally use Strategic Escape/Steel Skin/Defense Step. Sometimes if by mid-game I feel I can secure kills easily due to a team level lead or just tempo, I switch Strategic Escape with Snowball.

LBJ isn't that useful imo because of the S2 change. It's like Trunks's now, so just use it as a free escape tool if necessary. If you really really need it, you can use S3 --> another S2 for a second escape tool.

Kid buu and frieza both have really good farming so they keep up in levels. Ultimate gohan is very behind in levels most of the time since he has atrocious farming. They should just allow him to apply and proc his passive stacks on minions

He can be good, there are still some people putting in work with him. Comparitively to.. really any other character right now in his current state; you need to play 100% the entire match from the start. You have to be 100% efficient, no time to stall at all and on top of that hope for mistakes from the enemy team. Hes just, too hard to play right now. If the enemy team is coming at you the with the same level its near impossible to really even help your team. Its a fight just to not be dead weight.

Its about how i feel and i was top 50. He needs something for the late game. Either better leveling so he can keep up or more hp for the late game. Just feel like i cant do my job

He had too much changed about him that ultimately made him worse and gained nothing in a different way to suite his kit. So he kind of went from broken in being really good to just kind of broken where he doesnt work all that well. His lack of aoe, and minion farm was balanced by the fact hes kind of a glass cannon that was orientated towards team fights. They took away his team fight potential and replaced it with being a debuffer that doesnt really seem to help enough to justify keeping his survivability that low. Plus his skill 2 is really hard to aim properly in team fight when you cant even see the ground, you can really put yourself in a terrible spot if you teleport into a bunch of aoe many other chars have. I think if you left him the way he is right now, giving him more survivability would help him a lot. Something like what Vegito gets off his skill 1 with tempory hp, any time you proc his debuff stacks you should gain temp hp. This would also synergize well with Too Easy card. Giving him a much better option over buff up since his farm is atrocious. He kind of feels like early Buu, only Ultimate Gohan is a melee fighter so he kind of has to go in and more often than not you just get jumped and die to easily. Hes not respected at all anymore. I would also buff his rush atk dmg.
