You can jump over the first two doors
This is fixed in the patch i mentioned before!
The first patch is live and changed the following
- Games should no longer be stuck if a player leaves mid game
- mantling has been disabled
- Cant jump through first two rooms anymore
After playing some I have found some things:
-In the weapon upgrades the SMGs and ARs names are swapped
-You can take other’s mystery box weapons
-Zombies can’t do anything if you get on top of something
-The teddy bear doesn’t give points back like in regular COD
Also it just happened where I picked up a weapon and I didn’t get it from the mystery box
- More zombies
- fix the one zombie per spawner -_-
All feedback is noted Il be working on a patch to hopefully get out tonight, thank you!
It does scale per amount of players in game rn! If its not working tho let me know
Planned fixes for now:
- Raise cap of zombies allowed per room at the same time
- Add a gear shop mid game so players can upgrade without going back to spawn
- Increase rate of zombie spawns
- Fix issues with mystery box
I don’t think it did, wave 8 was 17 solo. Wave 16 for flava / iveta was 40

I will say Im planning on tuning down zombie spawns right now since they get kind of too crazy later on like for example round 40 is smth like 400 zombies, so if your going for the 100 maybe wait til next patch 🫡

Well I've noticed there is only 2xp per kill so that could be adjusted if possible and that open platform in the center of the lobby would be a perfect spot to spawn some XP coins every 10 or so minutes 🤷 I'm not a developer so these ideas are just a shot in the dark I'm not sure what capabilities fortnite actually lets you have
Dang I do believe the xp does go down the more you get from the same map in a day but 2xp per kill is low omg haha

I'm not sure if possible but maybe make it to where you take no damage while in the shop? I know you can't see them coming while your in the shop and the time it would take most people to spend 54k gears in that shop your just bound to die while upgrading. If that don't work then yeah make it disappear as soon as damage is taken if that won't cause loss of gears

Yea you could have people using one person in the shop and then the others killing them and grinding rounds easy
Just once. But that was also right after I got killed in the shop. My starting weapon screen did it to me too
Yea, what I could do to balance it out is, every person has a set amount of invincible time per round
so like if your in the shop over 30s in a round your no longer invincible or smth
Could put up some kind of boundary so mobs can't get in and you can't shoot out 🤷
Ill tweak something this update to address this anyways but thanks for bringing it to my attention

For this patch ill stay with the 25s invincible time per round, it resets each new round so it should be enough I think but ill wait to hear feedback on it

Extractions aren't tracking
Yeah you can jump on the walkway the jump over the other side
You need to kill the zombies in the time limit for it to count

What about a feature to save a run

All ears was actually about to get started on that as the last thing before update
Right so, it seems very room dependent.
In cafeteria the is a lot more places for enemies to spawn. So round 15-30 (maybe 15-27) there isn’t enough zombies in a wave to spawn in that area quick enough.
30 onwards i was killing then quick enough to keep them spawning.
So it seems like when there is a repeat of zombie spawning in the same spawn place (because more enemies = more spawn points being used) the game cant keep up with it.
So it gets to the last 10-20 that need to spawn in but it bugs it out

So yes the spawners actually can technically fail, if it does the zombies dont count as spawned, which is why there has never been like not enough zombies to complete a round ever
So what might be happening is though its not counting as being spawned, the room could be treating it as spawned and taking up a blank space or something of the sort
Ill do some testing on it rn and see but no im being serious

Yeah just for some behind the scenes knowledge, the room with the most spawns is actually the recreation room it has 15 👀
But each room has a spawn limit of 3 times there spawn areas
but the rate of zombies is the same throughout the map :) It increases as the higher the required zombie kills is in the round

Its a 10% chance and increases by 1% times the round your in right now
after this update, upgrading your bonus gears further increases the chance by 1% per upgrade level

Self revive is like instant, when u die
And you don't come back full health, so if you don't move fast you will die again
Had a bug where I only had 100 health and shield despite having many upgrades and jug

lol so I was doing testing for awhile like rounds 90-95 or something staying in one room the whole time and all the zombies seemed to spawn 🤔 ( I did this testing in several different rooms including cafeteria just for context)

So my partner joined mid round didnt show her any money or kills and when we extracted at 80 said she survived 1 round and didnt unlock the p90
So the reason it said 1 round is cause the game takes into account what round the player joined in

Any way that when a player gets downed the zombies dont just finish them off I've noticed that if your downed they still come at you and kill you

At what round do the zombies stop getting stronger or do they get stronger no matter what round 🤣🤣
OMG this just made me find a bug i never even noticed LOL
So their damage goes from 12 to 20 to 30 to 40 and its supposed to go up about every 20 rounds capping at 80
but i guess ive just had them doing 40 starting from round 5 😭 😭
But their HP caps at round 80 as well, after only the zombie amount goes up
🤣🤣 so we been getting hit with boss zombies and ah cool im on 78 atm but I dont think the health is too bad im still taking them out 1 hit of a rpg with my ability activate 2 or 3 without it
Next update ill be bringing in a double tap perk so that rpg gonna be doing 2x damage with it

I killed the last zombie when I was at the work station, went to upgrade my damage but the screen flashed twice, basically overlapped, then it was stuck

Hey everyone! Ill be adding in a few more wall weapons with this next update, if there were any ones you would like that arent in the game already or are only in the mystery box just send them here!
Throw some ballistics, they are strong on headshots and look clean in FP
Example:
AR: nemesis
SMG: Drum Gun
Sniper: Sovereign Sniper
Shotgun and Pistol
All ballistics
Idk if this has been reported already but there's a small bug when playing private multi-player where when you try to start a round by leaving the doors no zombies spawn in and occasionally when using the upgrade benches the display gets stuck on the screen but the buttons dissappear so you can't move around or do anything

The in game gear shop bug should almost 100% be removed, i encountered the issue and found a proper fix for it

for now one of the vials required for the ee ending is replaced with just activating power

When me and my sister finished the Easter egg ending it made it to where we couldn’t move afterwards we had to go back to lobby and reset game to keep playing

Add in zombie bosses to make each wave harder. Id say every 5 rounds the same as the evacuation. However bosses don't start until after wave 30 or 50.

The zombies are way to easy to get around and maneuver. Makes training zombies way to easy. The zombies are also very brain dead I think we should implement more aggressiveness and maybe even jumping or leaping forward to make it much more difficult.

Zombie spawns i think we should spawn way more zombies than what usually spawn in. Like if wave 100 has 216 zombies. I think we should spawn around 50 to 60 zombies. The first few waves are way to easy we gotta add more zombies to the first 30 waves. Make it more challenging. You don't have to increase the damage it takes to kill them per say.. but making them a bit faster off the jump and a little more aggressive to get players in the groove of whats to expect later on. Its very easy to climb a ledge or on a vehicle and the zs are harmless. The jumping and leaping aspect would make it a bit harder.

Having a mystery box in each location is kinda way to easy. Force players to continue to move around the map after seeing the teddy bear pop up. Changing the location of the weapon box so that they have to get to a newer location. Also.. make sure the mystery box contains weapons you cant get off the walls. Each mystery box item should be well more powerful than anything picked from a wall. The price should also increase the more you open the box. Once the box moves the prices reset back to start. Only have one box that moves after so many picks.

Oh also leaderboard. I think we should have like top 100 boards. Instead of having elims and waves. Just put both on the same board. If players reach top 10 on boards before board reset. Maybe toss out rewards like.. V bucks for the top 3 other rewards for other faces.
New maps would be killer too
Explosives should have the most amount of DPS. more realistic. With a bit more of a blast radius. M67 frags have a tremendous radius on explosion. Fired rockets an explosive bows should also have a huge radius as well. Making them yes over powered but way harder to use in combat.
We should also implement the TK method. ( team kill ) especially in public lobbies. When playing with random players playing a bit on the reckless side of the spectrum it would assist them to play a bit more strategic and not aimlessly. Also makes it much more difficult. Players shouldn't be able to just spawn back in. They need to be rescued by way of round completion. I also think going down shouldn't take away perks. Only death removes guns and perks.
Successful assist on revival shouldn't entail a loss unless they completely die off
-team kill results in loss of cogs.
That way people aren't purposely killing randoms for fun
Make sure its a huge dent as well.

I totally hear you on this, there are limits to what we can do specifically with the zombies since they are assets from The Walking Dead, but Im hoping boss zombies can introduce some difficulty here, I was also thinking about implementing zombies that can throw stuff at you to make things harder

As for explosive damage, we can't modify the radius or anything crazy like that as we creators cant access weapons and their behaviors, only damage. But in the future I hear you. TK would be interesting but i think itd get toxic real fast LOL
I know TK would get toxic. Thats why I said the punishment for TK would be a huge loss on cogs. Nobody really cares about losing money. Because its only use is to open doors and get stuff off the walls. Cogs are important to upgrade your character. The more people TK the more they lose their cogs. Or you could implement like what call of duty does. When a player kills another 2 times then they start taking damage
For the explosives.. extra damage is definitely needed. To make it more realistic.
Snipers depending on caliber should be way stronger than any Rifle. Shotguns should do the same amount of damage as snipers but only at close range. Rifles and pistols should do the next amount of damage. Because if you think about it. Scar L has the most DPS. which depending on the weapon build whether its military grade or something a citizen would buy in a store. Usually it carries a .556 cal round. Modified it carries 7.62 military grade. Im not saying go into detail like that lol. Just make it more realistic. Like a 30-06 bullet has more penetration and velocity than any regular rifle does. Then again its also shot from a well more powerful long gun. Long gun=sniper rifle = semi auto full auto AR/marksman
