because before it felt like suddenly a Random mod would just decide to make my game stop responding every few days, and then I uninstalled it, and would later reinstall and it worked totally ok. That's been my problem the whole time- I don't know why its changing on me like that

especially when neither the game, the mods, or even the settings have changed in any way

I also did recheck launch settings
before, I mentioned casual climber was ALSO crashing my game. I didn't reinstall it, and when enabled it, of course, crashed my game alongside all of the other mods

reinstalling it, you'll never guess what it did. Started to work again

launched again, crashed, launched a third time, worked. Whats going on.

Host Only means that only the host needs to have the mod for effects of the mod to be visible for entire lobby

Client Side would mean that it affects only one client (the one with the mod)

All Clients requires that everyone in the lobby has the mod for it to function and display properly

backflip, unlike other emotes, requires you to have the 'grounded' state in order to use it. grounded is when youre touching the floor and are in a position where you can regain stamina

while at the main menu of peak, take the steam join lobby link and put it in the top address bar of any web browser. Itll then say "this application wants to open steam" you hit yes, then you are in the lobby.

address bar is normally at the very top of your screen, dont use the search bar or it will do nothing

if youre on wifi it might be, ethernet connection has always been king. Specially with the way photon works ive seen wifi players moving fine then all of the sudden they get photon timed out. Every person ive asked that has had that happened to them were on wifi. Never heard of a ethernet connection player get photon timed out. Use this to see how bad your connection is

Not sure if anyone can help, but we’re experiencing a weird fog glitch when we use the save point mod. It’s only for the guest player, and they will experience fog damage when no on else is. The fog seems to be coming from the wrong direction. Anyone have any ideas?

2. technically there is a mod, just google peak vr mod, its on github. But its outdated now so you would.
   a. need to get a depot to an earlier version of peak where it works and replace your peak files..
   and then
   b. use the peakversionbypass mod to get past the 'your version is out of date' screen

Divide and conquer. Disable half of the mods and test again ... you'll then know in which half the broken mod is ... keep repeating until you pinpoint the mod

You have a lot going on ... kiosk is moved, rotation above boarding pass, initial backpack, fog starts early, a player management mod ... the former mods could be breaking a crucial call causing the level to not be properly loaded for the player ... the initial backpack might be provided to early causing the player to ragdoll underneath the map ... the game might not spawn a player if there's already fog ... various possible causes. We can't just name the exact cause for you. You'll need to put in some divide and cenquer work to pinpoint what exactly it could be.

With kins chaotic trials, make sure custom fog doesn't start on shore/isn't quick enough to catch up to plays instantly wnen spawning on shore. that was the cause of people dying on shore.

i htought it was just outdated peaker that causes scout effigy not to work... but 2 different ppl have said about not being able to respawn ppl in game

I dont know what taking ownership means. i thought they patched host takeover a long time ago. Its not even possible. If i have a combination of mods installed which can cause this, please tell me, because its absolutely not my intention to break lobbies.

i think exploiters can attempt to kick players, so that what they mean by taking ownership of the lobby

It flashed on my screen repeatedly that you tried taking ownership of the server the first time and then the entire lobby broke. Second time I didn’t even know it was you, I banned a square , it was tied to you. I didn’t know it was the same person til I went and looked in modfiles

Only thing you have to know is that its not my intention to do? (i have not done anything as far as i know) anything bad to any lobby. Im really sorry if it broke any lobbies, ill remove and reinstall all my mods. You dont have to unban me tho, i understand.

Probably just atlas, which will warn hosts you have it anyway so hard to use in public lobbies. it’s kinda a do it all mod that some hosts use

Hi, I bought the game today, and everything was working fine. But after closing and restarting it, I can't hear anything at all from the game—friends' microphones, ambient sounds, footsteps, nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

the obvious one, check your options, to make sure the game has volume turned on, then from windows, check to see what your default sound output is
