and if this matters, me and that friend i mentioned were messing around with the thunderstore manager, and we were doing a bunch of folder shenanagins and changed the directory and then when we reset files thunderstore is targeting a nonexistent directory and i dont know what the correct directory is so i gave up on thunderstore and im trying with r2mm rn

you open peak and stay in the main menu. you copy the link people post here and paste it in your browser, then your browser is gonna ask you whether you wanna open steam. you click yes -> youre in their lobby

just need to verify integrity for the game files then.

• right click PEAK in your steam Library
• select properties
• go to installed files tab and click "verify integrity of game files"

that will prompt steam to go through the game files and remove the ones that arent supposed to be there (i.e. the mods)

after that just relaunch the game and it should be mod free

the latest terrain randomiser update added lightboxes to the generation (yknow how previously, on terrainrandomiser shadows and blizzards etc werent accurate)

well now they are, because it generates lightboxes at runtime. but its v straining on older hardware (which is the main reason devs dont do maps at runtime and instead put them into the files)

You can get more ascensts, also you have some creepy mods out there, more chosmetics, more achievements, sandbox mod with experience levels, funny audio mods that changes audios of everything and you get memes instead or smth like that. You also have KinsChaoticTrials where you can play under chaotic events like tornadoes spawning, banana peels rains, dynamites, tumbleweeds, etc. You also have Hunter VS climbers, I think Hide and seek too

as already explained, you need to drag the files into the correct places. you also needed to have downloaded all the dependencies (and if those dependencies have dependencies, download them.)
drag all of that into your bepinex plugins folder.

alternatively, just see pinned for a mod manager which does it all for you :)

Yes. The mod tags tell you.

Host Only means that only the host needs to have the mod for effects of the mod to be visible for entire lobby

Client Side would mean that it affects only one client (the one with the mod)

All Clients requires that everyone in the lobby has the mod for it to function and display properly

yeah, if youre on windows pc (not mac or linux), then your best bet is asking in the nucleus server
if youre on mac or linux, then you need to go the the proton hotfix branch, or change crossover versions

its not rly a mod per-se, so msot ppl here dont use it often

yeah thats a different issue. autohook uses a version of bepinex thats not listed, BUT you should be able to use it with the version you have

just make a brand new mod profile

ONLY download bepinex

boot up the game

then after, download the rest of the mods

I dont use that mod and not sure why you'd need to access the config. but to access the configs on a mod manager, just press the config editor on the mod profile. If youve manually downloaded then the config file will be generated after first launch and is in the bepinex folder

I'm having a weird issue regarding mods. This has been going on for a while, and reinstalling, updating, and clearing caches hasn't fixed it

Whenever I launch the game modded, it stops responding. I remove a certain mod, and it continues as normal again. I open up the game some other day, it stops responding, and I have to remove a NOTHER mod.

At some point, I had to remove a mod that was disabled to get it to work!

I have no idea what to do that could fix this
