It depends on the mod. There are some mods with different requirements such as these:

Host Only means that only the host needs to have the mod for effects of the mod to be visible for entire lobby

Client Side would mean that it affects only one client (the one with the mod)

All Clients requires that everyone in the lobby has the mod for it to function and display properly

@rocky charm if youre talking about practical realism theres some mods like piggyback, but if youre looking for graphical realism you wont find a lot of that, mainly due to the fact that the game itself is almost impossible to make it look realistic

the shaders are already extremely well made but im not sure if the textures of the game can be re-done in a way that makes it look natural

so with manually modding like that, you dont get notified when mods are updated etc, and its easy to miss stuff or do it wrong

id highly suggest deleting your whole bepinex folder

and using a mod manager instead

it does all the work for you and keeps the mods updated too

hi all, I've been using MultiCosmetic_Mod for a while and yesterday it suddenly had every item equiped. I took everything off but there are some items i dont have like the pumkin and mummy wrap, and also the hood from the alpine clothes is on but thats attached to the jacket usually. I have already completed Ascent 7 multiple times and received my golden sash. It was correctly displayed on my scout and in the "Accolades" section.
However, I decided to challenge myself and try out a mod that adds new 13 ascents beyond the standard 7. The problem is that after completing "Ascent 8", my sash in the "Accolades" section changed to the blue "Tadpole Scout" sash. I have no idea how this could have happened.

I have already tried the following to fix it:

• Reinstalled the game.
• Deleted the mod that adds new ascents.
• Completed Ascension 7 once again.

Despite these steps, the issue persists, and my golden sash in the "Accolades" has not been restored. Could you please assist me with this problem?

This happens because the game sees your MaxAscent value is higher than 8. Each ascent unlock makes this value higher and caps at 8 in normal game. However, because you are playing a mod which increases this value, the game tries to change the stash to the corresponding ascent, but because this game only has up to 8 (Goat), it defaults to 0 (Tadpole).
To fix it, all you gotta do is relock the modded ascents by holding capslock whilst opening the airport kiosk. (In this mod's case)

so quick rundown of how the daily maps work if you dont know:
upon each update, the devs replace the daily maps currently in the pool. In the current update there are 21 different maps that it rotates between every 24 hours. These will be changed out for new maps on the next update. You can see the future and past maps currently available, as well as their level number in #1450592062394077345

Allows you to choose between any of the daily maps currently in rotation. So you'd go to the schedule thread, see which map you'd want to play, enter the level number and play that days map instead

This mod lets you fully customise which biomes you have, as well as their variants. It doesn't use maps currently in rotation. What you can do next is on your mod profile in r2modman, open the configs. For bepinex, enable the gui console. This way you can see if bepinex is loading and potentially errors for mods that are not loading

Host Only means that only the host needs to have the mod for effects of the mod to be visible for entire lobby

Client Side would mean that it affects only one client (the one with the mod)

Ascent X (10) A cumulative slow freeze from being spectated by ghosts AND minus one inventory space. The better version of Ascent 7 where doing it solo means that minus one inventory space hurts even more with needing to carry a flare, but failing to keep friends brought along could create a deadly snowball into a run's end.
I got these effects “working” when first trying to make an Ascent 7 replacement mod, though the freezing ghost presence was hella buggy and to make a -1 inventory I just gave players a sticky item they couldn’t drop. All in all it was terribly constructed and seeing something that does either of these better would be nice.

Ascent 11 The scoutmaster guards the top of every stage, departing only when the statue is used. Using the statue before your friends reach the top is still ill advisable, as the statue use only dismisses them from their aimlessly aggressive guarding state but won’t prevent them from showing up naturally afterwards if able.
Manual control of the scoutmaster is fun but creating unique autonomous behavior is a hurdle, surely there is a mod that can at least be referenced for such scoutmaster interactions?

Ascent 12 Junk and traps added to luggage trunks as well as reducing the number of uses on multi-use items like antidotes, rescue claws, rope, lanterns and even the lunchbox.

In the main menu, go to settings and change lobby mode to 'open to friends'.
Then press host and go into the airport.

There's no anti cheat in game, and no vac.

They're not allowed in #🌲peak-lfg-vanilla , and maybe not in #🔨peak-lfg-modded games depending on what the rules for that lobby are
If you're caught using mods in lfg lobbies you can get timed out/banned from the discord etc

Like go into peak on the mod manager, make a profile, and then you literally just download the mods there and it sorts out all the dependencies for you. You don't need to manually drag files anywhere
