For the expanded party Peak mod, we’ve tried the two that are available, but Peak Unlimited kept kicking us at very unfortunate times that would end with us falling to our deaths when rejoining 💀 and we couldn’t get More Players to work. The two that are widely known are peak unlimited and PEAKER.
Afaik peak unlimited does work but it could ofc have been affected with the most recent update.
Give PEAKER a try and see if that's working for you

It can be small things like wiping their brows when in a hot place (aka kiln, caldera, or mesa), or shivering when cold (maybe even some puffs of mist from their breath), or even limping when they are badly hurt.

Some visual indicators can also include blackening or sooth covering the body of scouts with burns, or a frosted overlay for cold, or even scuffs and scratches to indicate thorn or physical damage.

Bandages could also appear temporarily on the scout when they recently got patched up, and fade after a while.

Some of these can help telegraph a player's state to others aside from a obvious indicators like thorns.

It also adds to the immersion of the scout responding to the environment.

A few idle animations where players could be sitting down, laying down, or warming hands emotes that passively loop until the player turns or moves.

Ran in a suprising bug with the *Peak_Zombies mod.

When the seed changed over to roots, we started encountering zombies right out of the gate at shores.

We thought it must have been a different mod we forgot to turn off, then we realised the none of the mods spawned zombies in shores before.

It felt like a curse that none other than Scoutmaster Myres would bestow because of our hubris, lol.

When disabling the mod, no zombies woke up with us on the beach, or waited at every corner to ambush us.

Either way, I had to remove the mod so that zombies would spawn in the appropriate biome and at appropriate rates.

Client Side would mean that it affects only one client (the one with the mod)

so like, im new to the game. and i wanted just to add some quality of life mods but. i accidentally choosed DX12 at the start which my pc cant handle. and i wanted for the default to be DX11 so the mods could be loaded. since i got tundherstore and for me to be able to play vanilla i have to open manually on steam using properties. which means whenever i try to load the game modded by thunderstore by clicking modded peak, i cant play at max stay at the airport

and yes, i have tried to manually set the default to DX11

the max i did was go to properties and set it to always use DX11 which didnt work

navigate to your mod profile (where the launch modded button is) >settings>debugging>launch options/params> type -force-d3d11 and save

mod managers by default will always run it in dx12 regardless of steam settings, so you need to change it in the mod managers launch options

I wish there was a mod that like made it possible that like, the campfires are infinite and players that reach the top of each biome can keep progressing, even have a helicopter at the end you climb when you reach the top but like a 'lobby' version of peak where you can join a lobby and there's just people at different places/chilling and or climbing up and you can go at whatever pace you want but this doesn't make sense in the lore of how peak works so probably never 🙁

You can find mods on thunderstore.io but some need to be installed by both players. I suggest installing a mod manager like thunderstore or r2modman (thunderstore without ads and bloat) to make installing mods easier on you.
