I was playing with 10 people with the following mods - MoreScouts (20 scouts), PeakLateJoin, ItemMultiplier (5x), PIGGYBACK (always lets you carry scouts) and PEAKER (Ban and anticheat stuffs)

As the host, everyone else seemed to be fine, but I was not getting hunger effect and the poison effect would not slowly disipate, I could only get rid of it if I used a cure of some sort. anyone know what thats is about/what might be causing it?

its host only, so only one player - the host - needs it

If you've already tried reinstalling your game....

it usually means your gpu doesnt meet the minimum requirements, you can try:

• Launching on vulkan instead of dx
• Setting texture quality to low
• Updating your graphics drivers

Make sure to use the steam launcher to run the game, and not the desktop shortcut, as the shortcut won't use your chosen launch options.

minor bug in peaker, as its redirecting the banned person to a null steam join lobby link its probably set up so it makes sure that said banned person cant slip in. tho it targets innocent players sometimes then they get a failed to join lobby msg. This also happens if you have 10 people trying to connect to your lobby at once all at the same time. Tho you wont see this bug with peaker notifications.

I wish the owner of that peak zombies mod let you customize it better. I tried to make it so the infection wouldn’t start piling up till about 90 seconds after the bite but it didn’t work. A shame.

If I set it to 90, the spores would never arrive, if I set it to 0, I’d get 180 spores despite the setting being 60.

I am having trouble getting the Pitch Black mod by tony4twenty to work properly. I installed the mod manually through the thunderstore manual download, and it is missing some of its functionality and its config file. The lanterns do not have infinite fuel, and the flashlight mode is not activating through the F key. The output log file states that the mod was detected and the darkness does appear to be working properly. I am not sure if this is the correct chat to be asking this, but any help is greatly appreciated.

So I ran the game multiple times and I have had other mods like the kins chaotic trials working previously with their config file generating though this mods config still has not appeared. The mod is working for the most part, and I went to thunderstore’s page to confirm that there should be a config file. If there is not a commonly known fix for an issue like this it is ok, I just find it weird because I have had other mods working in the past.

no. bepinex hasnt been updated because it doesntneed to be, mods need bepinex also installed to even be recognised by the game. Im not a coder or anything but from my understanding its a unity tool system and literally is the thing that loads the custom code in the mod, into the game.

only thing thats not up to date with it is the launch parameters in the mod description but the pack itself functions fine

I see. My friends and I loaded a couple of mods and its so broken. People get kicked and when they come back they fly all around. The Peak Unlimited mod claims to be Roots ready, but I think that may be the mod thats breaking the game.

the flying around can occur in vanilla if there is dsync issues afaik - dsync issues will always have a much higher chance of occuring if you have more than 4 ppl in the lobby because thr servers arent designed to handle that many people. its been like this since before roots

you have the front desk mod, which moves it to the front near the elevator. check it is there
however you also have a lot of mods that are likely not updated for the latest version and will be broken. look through your list and disable ones that havent been updated recently and see if that fixes your issue

are you manually installing mods from thunderstore or are you using the thunderstore app mod manager?

they changed game default from vulkan to dx12 so it might be dx12 doesnt work for you.

its most liekly theyre all just desync issues youre describing due to more ppl being in lobby than the game can handle or on higher pings from multiple regions etc

just make sure if youre using peaker or unlimited theyre both the most up to date versions

servers are only designed to handle 4 ppl, usually a bit more than this is fine but if its lots more ofc the server is gonna have issues

also make sure nobdy is using cheats in the lobby

cos that could also be an issue

or other mods on your own side
