I've seen how badly people host, that's why before my first game i immediately got peaker to detect atlas and cherry mod and hosted my own game. quite a few cheaters trying to sneak in with atlas mod, then they refuse to leave and need to reset lobby because we can't kick them.

the peaker anticheat is depracated. i read it's because to kick someone it sends them a bunch of packets to forcefully eject them and this hurts Peak servers or some crap. But then, i think that is a good way to motivate devs to just add kick to base game....obviously most people who play this are not playing it with their family/close real life friends lol

No Peak anti-cheat didn’t do that. It had no kick functionality at all. The mod dev stopped working on it, Hiccup. So he marked it as depreciated before doing so. When the Mesa update hit it broke it completely by making it so nobody could drop items without them disappearing which is why we all currently have it off.
