i saw some of the hidden items in the game files with a item spawner (for testing purposes ofc) some of these items are just so questionable i hope they dont spawn in luggage. Or if they do hopefully someone makes a mod for "oldschool peak" where the loot pools arent scuffed and only spawn the og items

and so far, in the files, we only know about one upcoming badge

imo a lot of it has to do with game variance/built in rng. In most competitive games they try to limit the rng so everybody is on a level playing field. This inherently makes the game more repetitive but more "skill based".

We are talking about unity though, and realistically they're just using built in functions so the game really doesn't know it's being sent invalidly. If you stop the script from running by default you'd lose almost all interactions players have with the map/objects

it depends what mods youre using, as a general rule of thumb mods that are putting new things into the game (e.g. items, graphics, sounds etc) need everyone to have it, mods that are just using things from within the game (e.g. mods like ones that allow more players, or using items already in the game files) just need the host to have it. usually the mod will tell you when you download

dynamic batching, all it does it slow your game down for like 30 seconds while you spawn in. You want your lag to happen in the loading screen so you spawn with high fps

you go to your steam profile page after putting it in friends. there should be a green button that says join game, you right click it and coppy the link, and that way you can send to people without friending them

that way you can tell them to dm you and you can keep an eye on everyone you remember inviting to narrow down if someones cheating or using hacks

• PEAK unlimited (this doesn't seem to be an issue with anyone else, but maybe because Peaker has the same thing it's messing up?)

• campfire items (I think I've tested this, but unsure)

• anticheat (may have tested but unsure. Issue existed before the depreciation tho for the record)

• SkinmeshRenderItemFix (might have tested this one when I removed cosmetics tho)

For example multi-player pause made my hands have an annoying (albeit only visual) bug

Piggyback made players bounce around uncontrollably in an on-the-back style crouch

Oh that's because I figured quick restart wasn't necessary. Peaker has a button to skip the results

The game can be closed, however if you have it running, make sure it is in the main menu (and NOT the airport).
If nothing happens after that it means the lobby is full - They tend to fill up very fast!

Also, game inv links don't work on the steam deck if youre using that and you will need to do it through steam friends instead

best ive found so far is a combo of: anti-cheat (tells you when someone has a cheat mod (which doesn't necessarily mean bad news but lets you know in case), PEAKER & PEAKER RFC (gives you a log of anti-cheat's notifications, as well as several neat extra features such as skipping the end screen or forcing campfires to light (such as if you're doing a race for example)), and most importantly, Advancedconsole

How to make lobby code:
In the main menu, go to settings and change lobby mode to 'friends'.
Then press host and go into the airport.
The green 'join game' button should now appear on your steam profile. Right click it to copy the link :)

Not exactly what you asked for, but if you want to somewhat save your progress through the map you can grab peak stranding mod, then disable online and enable local saves in config. This will allow you to keep the tools you have already placed on the map between the runs

has anyone been able to use the peak unlimited mod after the recent update? I've downloaded bepinex right, i downloaded it put the file i was told to in the peak files and when i opened and closed the game the plugins appeared but when i put the dll file into the plugins nothing appeared in the config files

solid, keep in mind you might have to do janky stuff like "unity patcher" in order to launch your game through dx12 rather than vulkan. If youre stuck playing on vulkan you have to use windowed or windowed fullscreen as real fullscreen will cause alt tab fps dropping bugs or game crashes
