there are a few mod managers that are pretty good, i use r2modman myself. they have interfaces what work with thunderstore and you can launch the game modded from the manager

as well as set your steam preferences to always open modded thru r2modman

you have the choice between peak unlimited and Peaker to make lobbies larger. Unlimited is the more vanilla version of the pack but Peaker is not. once you download Peaker you need to run the game modded, then head to the left side of thunderstore and config the Peaker pack from there all you need to do is turn tornados to true if you want i can make a vc and show you.

on a real note if you wanna try and get your game working enable steam overlay and see what is maxing out on your pc wether its your cpu or gpu. Disabling hardware acceleration makes a program use your cpu to do most of the work. Lets say im running peak but my gpu is at 100% but my cpu is only using 40%. Disabling hardware acceleration will give your gpu a break but im not sure how much this would help in your case.

I currently know that the viewID (the thing that essentially states who "owns" the bingbong viewport) isnt in the code itself but is assigned within the unity engine itself as I cant find any instantiations or transfer ownerships for it, my problem is that the versions that having that information is useful you need to extract the prefab from resource.assets to find such a viewID value but versions 1.1 - 1.6 (was the last i checked) all the prefabs and scripts have had their names replaced with generic identical names

I could modify the viewID after the fact I suppose but I also want to at the same time understand how the devs did it

This is the mod I'm currently working on. For now, it allows you to keep the items you used on the map (ropes, pitons, etc) between runs, with async death stranding-style multiplayer that spawns random items placed by other random players coming soon™️
Knowing that you can partially keep your progress significantly changes your approach, at least judging by a few playtests so far, plays differently.
Of course, ultimately this makes the game easier as you can bruteforce through the track across multiple runs, so try combining it with ascends and other mods that make the game more difficult to bring the challenge back.

if solo no ive nvr had that happen but in multiplayer ive had it happen multiple times cause someone deletes it so you technically cant light it thats why i started using Peaker And Anticheat gives you a fix if your the host

you can use the revive hotkey mod and the infinite stamina mod will pretty much acheive what you want i think atlas and advanced console also have a god mod but everyone tends to dislike people that use those lol

anticheat lets you kick other players if they also have it installed you can block them from rejoining to but if they dont only way is to make a new lobby after blocking them untill devs give us the actual option only way is spamming them with dummy packets which is DDOS

lol he was just trying to help and spamming empty packets is a good way to get unwanted people out of your lobby and the only technical way we can till the actual devs of the game gives us a kick option

No all the ones on thunderstore now require them to also have it or just makes the game unplayable for the griefer by teleporting them around or making their screen black etc. Then they leave on their own and the blocking takes effect

There's an anticheat mod that supposedly automatically bans people so they can't join your next lobbies

No kick mechanic though cause apparently the game doesn't support it and neither does the networking under it

Cheaters are absolutely rampant on public lobbies

Yes exactly but if you ban whoever was greifing they cant join back after they leave so just have to make a new lobby no way around it till the game devs give us an actual kick button

Sorry for sharing that link, but it is hard to get proof when they play victim and use a name changer. which makes it show a different name above their heads in game. Also an issue is the millions of explosions or shakings? That make everyones game crash without being able to pin point which (hidden) name they now have
