The Kiln has been done on Ascent 7 with 10-40 stamina

There's a lot you can do when you can apply Tech well

A simple lunge before going to your reserve extra stamina is one way to save stamina when you still aren't going for the movement techs yet (The game does have a hud pop up for you to lunge whenever you almost ran out main stamina regardless if you have extra stamina or not)

There's a Scoutmaster check every 30 seconds. He isn't guaranteed to spawn every time the check is successful. You just noticed a pattern than isn't real because of RNG.

For roots, youre gonna have to check inside hollow stumps and hope there's one in there (thats what I did)

Thought to post here due to spoilers.

Me and 2 friends were running a set seed that included roots (Level_6 I believe) on Peak difficulty.

I played it well enough to reach the top while one friend called Scar can manage while still working on his skills and the third called Rose is very new to the game's mechanics.

We managed to get up shores just fine. I got a book of bones, which was decidedly put away in a backpack.
Rose hates the roots biome but we managed to convince her to try her best and we eventually made it to the top with minimal issues.
Scar loves Alpine however that seed's variant was less forgiving than what he is used to.

Food was scarce. We were having more and more trouble with a choke point in the climb.
Hunger was our biggest factor and it would later on spell out our demise. At some point, I went over some calculations in my head and made a risky play by turning myself into a skeleton. This bought me time, but my friends were more focused on getting past this tricky section in our climb. I explained my plan to scout ahead and bring back food as fast as I can.

Scar trusted me and gave me a boost. It fortunately did not take long for the now undead skeleton scout to find a tree and bring back its fruits. Feeding the other 2 scouts turned out to be not enough as the fog was drawing near.
I had to make a difficult choice realising the fog can also affect me as a skeleton too. Rose wandered off trying to find another path, scar had already collapsed from the cold.
I quickly riffled through our bags, picked up Scar and pushed myself to reach the top. The cold kept scar knocked out while I scrambled for every foothold until we reached a safe spot.
Rose sadly did not make it, the cold claimed her.

There was a bright side though at least. We had a scout effigy to revive her and Scar managed to wake up in time to see it.

It was a moment in our run that felt like it could have been written in a fan fic somewhere.

The rest of the climb was manageable.
Scar and Rose found their new skeleton friend entertaining. I was skipping about on the hot coals while they took the high road in Caldera.

The climb in Kiln proved to be too much for them sadly. The climb was stressful but maintaining focus was key.

I hardly got to reach the top as a skeleton.
At least it will be one of the more memorable climbs to the peak.

Maps are the daily rotations you play on, those come in batches, say in a batch of 14. Each time they come out with "new maps" it means a new batch of newly generated maps have come out. THIS DOES NOT MEAN NEW BIOMES NOR VARIATIONS.

Pretty close to the beginning, there's two ponds it's close to the one on the left side

And once inside and you make it to the parkor, take the right side of the wall, theres also a ledge towards the end to walk on but not worth it. Before entering the temple it's best to have a cooked lollipop or chain launcher
