the biomes are not all loaded at the same time.
If you're on shore and try to shoot to say, biome3, biome3 is not loaded until you hit the biome2 campfire.

and biome2 is not loaded until you hit the biome1 campfire. when hitting a cmapfire it despawns everything in the previous biome.

Get some milk ready, and jump from a lower height onto the bounce-shroom. Just as you are about to hit it, do play dead emote. You will ping way high and get the achievement. Drink the milk if you want to survive the fall.

Okay, hear me out; Alembic. We all know what all the foraged food items do, but what if some bore different properties when mixed with other specific foods? For example, Cooked Honeycomb + Aloe Vera = a drink/potion that increases Extra Stamina and resistance to Heat/Fire Damage

to add to the information here [and i might be late to the party] but through testing for science, I discovered that these zombies i've come to call 'Myco-Voodoo' zombies, have a rather wide range for its lifespan [ranging from approx. 1:45 to 2:30]. The one thing that is consistent however, is the number of bites it has the chance of inflicting before it dies. this usually is between 5-6 bites on average

And it stacks infinetely

However, you cannot drop the milk or store it, if you do so, the bug wont work and the milk will just give u 25s of invincibilitt as if u only cooked it once

So u gotta use it as soon as u finish cooking it

So, you gotta enter slowly, and look up

you could probably do it if you stay true to one corner, as once I had dropped golden bingbong near the corner and it didn't happen anything to him, had to dive into the lava and grab it again to drop it again but now in the center (as even in some areas surrounding the center it didn't take it, dunno if the lava rising will count though)

With the strange gem

Hey, i tried doing it, then activating and deactivating, then cooking more and more till it was incinerated via bringing a portable stove w me, however no dice, nothing changed.

I also had an insane theory that it should be bought back down to the crash site however we learned that once your up its impossible (from the path I took) to get back down as even if you start to try to climb down the side of the volcano, you die to invisible lava that is lined up with where the current risen lava's level is inside the volcano,

• So cooking the strange gem does nothing.
• Bringing the strange gem back down results in death.
• Exploding the gem via using a flare and a stove does nothing.
• Spraying it with sunscreen does nothing.
• Cooking it then throwing it back into the alter does nothing

I am unsure if it currently has functionality to any extent and they just quietly updated the gem to make it so it would be prepared for when they eventually decide to give it functionality.

I do however want to note that it does not make sense for a gem to have an activation. Most things in this game make sense and a gem of any kind having an activation could just be either a placeholder for something else, or it could stay the same but the activated gem function gets removed as activating a rock does not make sense for this game, when most other things (to the best extent it can) makes logical sense.

I'm a fan of the idea that maybe it will be given a functionality, not to be activated or not, but maybe the idea of finding its correct place is interesting, however, it will require them to rework a previous fix they made to the top of the volcano area to let players down to attempt to place it once again else where.

def without friends is harder
cuz the more people the more things you can store, it becomes apparent when you get more bacpacks and most of the time when you reach the kiln with 4 people that have backpacks loaded with goodies it becomes a breeze
also you can boost jump and get pulled up by others so that also helps a lot
and i don't think food is an issue for 4 person groups (or you can cannibalise someone if you really have to)

the best tip I can give is prob to just take it slow and definitly try to plan your route beforehand
as long as the fog isn't chasing you you can take more time to look for safe ways up

What I would want is each biome slot to be in a separate bag randomizer, offset by 1 day so they never loop around at the same time, meaning that the entire mountain can never repeat.

If you take the mandrake while being in "climb mode", it will go directly in your hotbar and it won't activate until you take it in hands
